Beautiful Waterfront Cottage with Hot Tub in South Muskoka

Experience the perfect blend of relaxation and adventure at this riverfront getaway, ideal for large groups. Enjoy the stunning beauty as the leaves begin to change colour in a renowned Muskoka autumn. Dine al fresco, relax by the fire pit, and stargaze at night. The cottage feature a hot tub for relaxation as well as ample sleeping arrangements and communal spaces for everyone. Enjoy a waterfront experience only 90 minutes from the GTA.

The property:

Fully renovated home with huge living space which includes large living room and a separate dining area. All amenities including large TV, fireplace/pellet stove, fully equipped kitchen, internet, 3 bedrooms and sofa beds that can accommodate up to 11 people.
Bookings for 10 or more guests will include access to the fully equipped upstairs suite with space for up to 4 more guests, at an extra charge of $75/person per night (calculated according to the entire length of the stay- no partial stay calculation) . Between May and September for groups of 15 and above we also offer a separate small one-bedroom house with its own kitchen and bathroom, a bedroom with queen size bed and a living room with a sofa bed. Please note that the both the second bathroom and kitchen, as well as the fourth bedroom are all within the upstairs suite. Similarly, the small separate house (the third unit on the premises), contains the fifth bedroom and third living room, with its own kitchen and bathroom. Reservations of 9 guests or under will have access to only one kitchen, one bathroom, and 3 bedrooms as well as two full size sofa beds in the living room. 10 to 14 guests will enjoy the second unit and 15+ would enjoy the third unit. We kindly expect full guest and pet presence/count transparency in the booking, which is also verified through security-camera footage.

Our stay at the cottage was amazing, the welcome was so lovely from Danika. The cottage was very clean, stocked up and very well equipped. The property offers so much fun for the kids, they enjoyed the lake, the pool, the hot tub, the water slide, and the trampoline. It was a great weekend!

We thoroughly enjoyed our visit. The location was beautiful and excellent for our family. We enjoyed all the amenities, the location, and the closeness to nature. We really appreciated Danika, who met us on arrival and walked us through the cottage. Our kids loved the option to swim in the lake or the pool. They loved the karaoke machine and fire pit. We would definitely consider returning.

This was a perfect place for a family cottage trip. Having both the main place and the upstairs allowed everyone to have their own room. The view in the front was so nice and the pool in the backyard was a great bonus. Danika, the cleaning lady, was so welcoming and went above and beyond to be sure we had a great time. Our host was great at answering questions ahead of our arrival. We had a terrific week and would definitely return in the future.

We had a really enjoyable stay at the cottage overall. There was so much to do on the property, and it was especially kid-friendly. The trampoline, soccer area, and slide into the lake kept the kids entertained and made for a fun and memorable stay. The location and outdoor space were definitely highlights for us.A few amenities unfortunately weren’t usable during our stay. The pool was green and couldn’t be enjoyed, and both the BBQ and dishwasher were not working. We also felt the cottage could use a more thorough dusting and a little extra attention to cleaning in some areas.That said, Denica, the cleaner, was super friendly, helpful, and accommodating, which we really appreciated. We understand that things can occasionally stop working, but hopefully these items can be addressed for future guests. With a little more attention to maintenance and cleaning, this would be a fantastic family-friendly cottage.

We had a great time at this cottage. Plenty of space for our large group, but only 1 washroom in main floor unit - 2nd washroom was upstairs on separate unit, which we hardly use. Since there was nice large dock and swimming area on the lake, we didn't use the pool. We had access to 2 canoes and 1 kayak which we used every day. We were given a tour of the cottage upon our arrival and the place was very clean. The only concern I have is the voice alarm when the front door or windows were open. It was annoying for the person sleeping in the sofa.

We stayed here on a fall colours Northern trip. It is a great spot, very clean, awesome views, and easy check in. Host was very responsive and solved an issue we had that was no fault of his own. We will come again, and highly recommend it.

The cottage was quite nice and in a good location. We enjoyed the stay overall. When we first arrived, the cottage was very cold. Once we figured out how to heat the place, it was quite cozy. For the owners, I recommend turning the heat up before someone is coming, or leave an instruction book detailing how to use the pellet stove to keep the cottage at a good temperature (including overnight instructions would be helpful too). There are a few baseboard heaters, but the stove is absolutely required to heat the whole place.A couple of things surprised me - in order to get to the hot tub, we had to walk all the way around the house to get to it. It was very cold and snowy - so this wasn't ideal. The hot tub also had a lot of dirt on the cover, which didn't give us confidence regarding the cleanliness of the hot tub underneath. There also wasn't a lot of privacy, and there were quite a few cameras on the property (which is fine for entrances etc., but maybe not having one pointed in the direction of the hot tub?). Also, the listing stated that the kitchen was fully equipped - however, if you only have access to the main part of the house, there is no oven. We had planned to make homemade pizza and were quite disappointed when we had to go get take-out. Overall - the place is great, and I think it would be fantastic to stay in the summer! Just a little more transparency on the listing an instruction booklet for managing heating and the hot tub

We stayed with a large group for Labour Day weekend, we had a very fun time! Communication with the host before the trip was not great, and extra fees were added last minute, but I understand it was Labour Day weekend and that people get too busy to check apps. There was a pool that we didn’t see in the listing so that was a nice surprise! There are cameras pointed at the pool and at the hot tub, which should’ve been disclosed in the listing, and on the in person tour, based on Vrbo’s camera policies. Other than that we had a great time, the cleaning lady, Denica was very sweet and helpful when giving us the tour, she even took a group photo of us at the end of our trip! This cottage has a lot of amenities that are attractive for large groups- karaoke machine, soccer and axe throwing games in the yard, trampoline, pool and hot tub and a sauna (the sauna wasn’t ready yet for our trip but it’s there), smart tvs, equipped kitchen, you name it! I had brought tons of things with me (TP, hand soap, baby wipes, a cheese grater, etc) because I was worried they wouldn’t have stocked the place very much but they had everything we needed and more! You can tell the housekeeper really takes care of everything. Overall great trip and we would come back!
