Welcome to Bare Feet Bunkhouse, this cozy studio sleeps up to four making it the perfect retreat for small families. The property is a 3-minute walk to the beach, adding an additional layer of relaxation and fun to your stay.

The property is located inside a shared fenced area with two other vacation rentals. While a parcel of a larger property it includes privacy!

Enjoy this charming and comfortable space for a relaxing stay! This is an ideal retreat for a beach-loving getaway!

Very cute, very clean perfect size for me and my 3 kids. My girls love the fish food left to feed the pond fish and the access to the beach toys came in very handy.

This was a great little property that was tucked away, but also very quiet and comfortable is very close to the beach has amazing views and is a very comfortable place. I will for sure be coming back to this location.

The host was great! Very attentive when answering questions. The only complaint we have is the guest staying above us on the first night. She had two very loud dogs that whined and barked all night. Then she decided to vacuum very early one morning. Nothing against the host just be aware of how close neighboring guests are. Also, there are train tracks in close proximity.

My sister and I were visiting the area for a friend’s birthday and we couldn’t have asked for a more perfect spot. The size was perfect for us and the little touches and amenities the hosts left were very thoughtful and appreciated. The shared outside space was a great spot to sit down other our morning coffee and enjoy the weather. this was such an unexpected gem! we booked last minute for a family thanksgiving trip and for the price and location, I honestly thought there was going to be something wrong with it. Not at all! It was clean, spacious for our family of 4, so cute and in a great location. Highly recommend!

Wonderful place!

My mom and I needed a quiet and quick getaway to the beach. This place was beautiful and perfect for us! The area was quiet and pretty. We drove into Biloxi for the beach. This property was everything we needed! We will definitely be booking again!

This property has a really cool sanctuary-like feel to it. Park out front, walk through the gate, and suddenly you’ve entered a tropical paradise.The Bunkhouse was exactly as described, easy in and easy out. It’s just one block from the beach, and I enjoyed an early morning run along the shoreline on Saturday. The neighbors are friendly and always wave when they see you.The unit itself is pretty cool: small, quaint, and generally very quiet. Because there’s an upstairs unit, it’s not unusual to hear footsteps, or maybe just the occasional chair being moved.We don’t own pets, but if you’re looking for a pet-friendly unit, this would be it.Its proximity to restaurants and shopping is extremely convenient. There’s an Aldi 2.5 miles away, and Chandelier Brewing is just 1.5 miles up the road. Whether it’s Jones Park, the Aquarium, or a visit to the beach, everything is just a walk, bike ride, or quick drive from the Bunkhouse.By the way, the owners are top-notch! They provided outstanding communication and are genuinely nice folks.I wish we had a little more time to spend there; we were very happy with our visit.

The Bare Foot Bunkhouse is a hidden gem just a stone’s throw from the beachfront. Yet the secluded gated yard with its multiple fish ponds, sitting areas, lush vegetation and fire pit make it feel like you are miles from the hustle and bustle. We enjoyed having our breakfast alfresco under the gazebo while listening to the morning birds, and likewise appreciated sipping wine in the evening serenaded by frogs. The accommodations were clean, the decor was lovely and the place is well-equipped for two people to stay comfortably. Although you could stay here with children, it might be a bit cramped and you would probably be more comfortable in one of the other two rentals on property. Touches like quality toiletries, laundry detergent, tv trays and extra blankets show that the owner went out of her way to make sure all needs are met, and she immediately responded to a text about something we were looking for. Everything we needed for the beach was provided: an umbrella, chairs, a cooler and even a wagon to transport it all. Even on the weekend, the beach was nearly deserted (except for the stunning display of birds - skimmers and terns, gulls and osprey, even a bald eagle). We walked a couple miles along the shore for breakfast beignets from the Beignet Cafe, and multiple restaurants are just a short drive away. We highly recommend the Bare Foot rental property and would absolutely return if we visit Gulfport again.

Cute and comfortable

Two adults and a small 4 legged child stayed here. The communication and check in process was quick and easy. This is a very clean and comfortable small place. Don’t expect a lot of room but it was just right for a couple. We loved it. It’s not too far from the beach. Definitely with walking distance. Other amenities are close by also. Definitely would recommend for a couple or a small family (not in height, in numbers that is).

The room was cozy and accommodating. Being alone I was a little concerned about the location but it turned out to be just fine. It is a quiet neighborhood and if you were there as a couple or family it would be an ‘at home’ experience. I got there around sunset so it wasn’t dark yet. You walk up to a wooden fence door and then inside you face the back of the place you’re staying so you walk around the building to the front door. Like I said being alone and after being out for an evening etc. and coming in after dark was a little unsettling. Even though, I enjoyed it and would possibly stay again.

This is a pet paradise! This was my first time ever traveling with a pet. I could not have asked for any better place. The room was as described. Very clean and such a comfortable bed. The outdoor sitting area was our favorite! We were able to sit out there and enjoy time with our dog. The location was PERFECT! We made day trips to Fairhope, Alabama and New Orleans as well. Communication was wonderful as well with the host. This rental was beyond our expectations. We can not wait to come back. It was nice to meet Bobby Jo and Tanner from Oklahoma. The property was amazing. I loved watching the butterflies. I could go on and on. What an amazing place. Simply can't wait to go back!

We loved our stay in the Bunkhouse! My husband and I were in the process of traveling to Greece for our honeymoon when the airline cancelled all our flights. So after spending two day traveling from TN to Washington and then back to TN, we decided to look for somewhere we could drive to instead. Because we’d sunk all our money into the trip we were supposed to take, we were low on money but still wanted to do something nice for our honeymoon. That’s when I found the Bunkhouse! It was so affordable and such a cute little room. It was small don’t get me wrong, but it was perfect for us and provided us with a sweet little getaway after the stressful few days we’d had. The management company was very quick to respond to all our questions and messages and was very pleasant to work with. We’ve already discussed going back and one day even taking our future kids with us!
