Family Friendly Spacious Clean Coastal House Near Fenwick Island, Bethany Beach

Welcome to Hidden Bay Breeze in The Refuge at Dirickson Creek!

Why stay in Ocean City, MD when we are super close to it and all the shopping in Delaware is TAX FREE?!!

We're about a 7-minute ride to Fenwick Island beaches but within a short paddle of Little Assawoman Bay. You can see the kayak/boat launch from our home. The area is teeming with wildlife and is very quiet and peaceful. Plus, all the resort amenities are FREE!

We rent to family groups and friends of families only. We do not rent to groups of people that are not related or who intend to use our home for excessive partying.

We have set up our home to sleep 15. We have 4 bedrooms and a den with a queen sofa bed (and it's comfortable!) and 3 1/2 baths. The primary bedroom on the main level has a king-size bed and a huge en suite with soaking tub and large walk-in shower. The den and parlor bath are on the main floor. Also on the main level is an open concept living room/kitchen/kitchenette and a separate dining room. My favorite room of the house is the sunroom as the breezes from the bay are so lovely and with screened in windows on every wall, it's like being outside but sitting inside on gorgeous furniture! It's heavenly with all the windows open (when the A/C isn't cranking, of course!).

Upstairs are 3 more bedrooms. There's a bunk room for adult kids or kid-kids that sleeps 5. There's a professional foosball table in there as well as a TV. The other 2 bedrooms have their own en suites. One has a queen-size bed and TV and the other room has 2 twin beds with 2 trundles that can sleep up to 4 and also has a TV.

There's definitely plenty of places to hang out - inside and out!

The kitchen is very well equipped with plenty of plates, glasses, serving plates, cooking pots, etc. The kitchen has newer stainless steel appliances (gas cooking) and granite countertops. We provide the pillows and comforters but sheets/towels/etc. are the responsibility of the guest to either bring or rent.

The outside patio has a spacious dining table with an umbrella, seating for 8, plus another area with a table and 4 chairs. There's also a gas/charcoal grill.

There's a 2 car garage (parking for 1 car in there because of the kayaks) and then 4 cars can be parked on the driveway.

We are all about KAYAKING since we are within walking distance of the boat/kayak launch. We have 3 kayaks that are available to our guests - 2 single kayaks and a tandem. The tandem can be paddled alone or by 2 people. There's room for a small child to sit in the middle of the 2 paddlers. We provide paddles and have 3 adult PFDs, a youth PDF and several children's size PFDs.

There are also a few youth bikes & helmets, some tennis rackets, pickleball rackets, a volleyball, basketball, & outdoor games. Kids can play by the creek or walk to the other amenities - pool, tennis courts, pickleball, basketball, cornhole, bocce, shuffleboard, tot lot, exercise room/clubhouse. There is NO ADDITIONAL CHARGE for the use of the facilities and they're just a stroll down the lovely street!

There is so much to do in Fenwick - great restaurants, shops, boating, golf, outdoor water park, etc. plus we are about 15 minutes from Bethany Beach, about 30 minutes to the outlets in Rehoboth Beach, and we are just on the Delaware side of Ocean City, MD.

Our home is perfect for families and friends to get away and recharge. We are NOT a party house. An example of our contract is uploaded to the Vrbo site. Please note that our cancellation policy, outlined in our contract, is more lenient than what is "checked" off on the Vrbo site. We will work with you if something happens and you need to cancel. Feel free to reach out to us before you book if you have an extenuating circumstance regarding members of your party.

During high season (Memorial Day to Labor Day) we are requesting Saturday to Saturday stay - check-in at 4:00 and check out at 10:00 a.m. Thank you.
