HOUSEBOAT FOR RENT- Venice Marina- The “Get Reel”- JUST RENOVATED!

Everything you need for a comfortable stay right in the middle of the best fishing and hunting in the world. Located on 'B' dock at the Venice Marina. The houseboat has space to tie up your boat(s) to the front and side of the houseboat. The houseboat can sleep 6 comfortably. The sleeping situation is comprised of 2 full bunk beds with a single on top and bottom, 1 top bunk bed with a single at top and a futon underneath. There is 1 bathroom with a vanity and stand-up shower.

WiFi was recently added for your unlimited use! The main living area has a Smart TV equipped with Direct TV and all of the common apps. The living area and kitchen provide an open concept for guest to visit while watching TV, dining and preparing meals in the fully furnished upgraded kitchen. The kitchen is equipped with an electric stove, oven, microwave, toaster oven and full size fridge and freezer!

Property has a gas grill with the necessary utensils located on the deck for use by our guests. There is also a fish cleaning station with a hose right next to it for your convenience. Please do not throw fish or duck carcasses in the water, instead take them outside of the marina to dispose of them.

CANCELLATION POLICY: Any cancellation must be in writing. Cancellations are only allowed prior to 30 days of the rental period. Cancellations within 30 days of rental period are only allowed in the event of named tropical system in the Gulf of Mexico that requires evacuation or tropical watches/warnings are issued for the Venice area.. Should the reservation be cancelled within the 30 days of the rental period then the entire rental fee is forfeited and the reservation/damage deposit will be returned. No refunds will be given for inclement weather, illness, accident, change in plans, personal emergencies, charter boat cancellation, or otherwise if not done in writing 30 days prior to arrival date.

It was a peaceful stay. The house boat was neat. A little small but perfect for a quick getaway in one of the best places to fish in Louisiana.

Nothing Fancy

Unit isn’t anything fancy, but adequate for a quick stay. Spent 3 nights for a fishing trip. Plenty of linens, clean bedding, plenty of dishes. Could use some deep cleaning and updating, but so does the entire resort. Porch wasn't the best to enjoy the outdoors, screen missing in the door but looks like they are in the middle of repairs and tv in bedroom didn't work. We would return. .

Great VRBO

We were very pleased with our stay at the “Get Reel”. It was clean, had enough space for 6 adults, and all the amenities we needed (even some we didn’t know we needed). Our boat captain was able to pick us up right off the back porch. I parked the car Friday and never needed to get in it again until it was time to go home. The marina was close by and had plenty of food and entertainment for us. The only thing we missed having was WiFi, but who needs it when you’re having fun!

Fishing trip

Adequate property but not excellent. There was a hole in the ceiling, a continuously dripping faucet, a dirty mug in the cabinet and mismatched towels and dishes. I expected more but it did suffice for the purpose of being on the water and ready to start fishing early each day.

Solid Venice Marina houseboat stay

The property was as expected and served our weekend trip well, there was only 2 of us so plenty of room. The “master” bed wasn’t made upon arrival but didn’t matter as we used other beds instead. Lots of things onsite to help with your time there and fishing captain picked us up right off the back porch. Not too far of walk from marina. Would recommend for smaller groups under 4.
