Get Bent Lodge - A Cypress Cove, Venice La houseboat WITH STARLINK WIFI!

Get Bent Lodge is located in Cypress Cove Marina, Venice La. It is freshly renovated 2 story, 3 bedrooms, and 1 1/2 bath home that is equipped with all the comforts of home. It will sleep 12 with each having their own bed. It has a large flat screen TV equipped with Direct TV in a comfortable living area. The kitchen is updated with Quartzite counter tops along with dishwasher. There is a full size washer and dryer.

The houseboat has a new large covered deck with seating to enjoy after a long day of fishing. A new commercial ice maker, fish cleaning station, and propane grill has been recently added to the house.

The houseboat has private parking for over 6 vehicles. Now you can park just feet away from the door to unload all your gear. Right off the porch the scenery is beautiful with lots of nature to view with cypress trees and alligators as well! Ask your guides to pick you up off the front porch for your fishing trip!

CANCELLATION POLICY: Any cancellation must be in writing. Cancellations are only allowed prior to 30 days of the rental period for a full refund. Cancellations between 30-14 days of rental period only receive a 50% refund. Cancellations within the 14 days rental period are only allowed in the event of named tropical system in the Gulf of Mexico that requires evacuation or tropical watches/warnings are issued for the Venice area. Should the reservation be cancelled within the 14 days of the rental period then the entire rental fee is forfeited and the reservation/damage deposit will be returned. No refunds will be given for inclement weather, illness, accident, change in plans, personal emergencies, charter boat cancellation, or otherwise if not done in writing 14 days prior to arrival date.

Perfect spot to stay when visiting Venice. Communications with the owners were great and the property was clean. The back porch has plenty of room to grill, clean fish, and relax in a chair. Bring some marshmallows to feed the gators.

Awesome Boathouse

Very nice, clean, & spacious boathouse. If you have a boat, you can pull your boat right up to the dock tie off and enter the boathouse back door from the water. Parking in front is great as well, pull up unload your luggage and walk right in the front door. The ice machine on the back dock is a bonus. Overall, this boathouse is awesome, we will be booking again soon!

Awesome Location, Nice House !

This was a great property to stay at for our fishing trip in Venice. The back porch is noticeably larger than the other houses near by. Plenty of room for everyone to kick back and enjoy the wildlife. The ice machine was quick to refill and the fish cleaning table was perfect. Down stairs kitchen, dining, living is nice and spacious. Upstairs rooms are comfortable with their own a/c units. Nice large parking right up to the front door of house. Location is in Cypress cove but also really close to Venice Marina. We will definitely be back to this property for our future Venice fishing trips. The property manager is very nice and easy to work with.

A perfect vacation at an amazing houseboat

This place was even better than what the listing advertised! This was my first time staying on a houseboat for "fish camp" experience and this, by far, has raised the bar for future fishing vacays! The dock on the back!!! OMG! I stayed there the entire weekend when my crew went fishing! I could literally stay there another month and not go anywhere! Great communication with the owner and check in process is super simple. For all who look at this review, the Louisiana bayou is a must on your bucket list. Thank you for letting us stay in your home! We are booking it again, in the summer, for our in-laws to come with us next time!

Mostly good.

Very clean and comfortable cabin. My only complaint is we didn’t have a phone number for management. When we got back from fishing we found a leak in the water line to the ice maker. The shutoff valve was corroded. Thankfully the line was flexible so we just pinched it off. I messaged management through VRBO. By the time I received a reply, we were sleeping.

Venice Fishing Trip

Property was well supplied and a great location for our annual fishing trip in Venice. The boats literally pull right up to the dock on the houseboat. We have stayed here several times and will keep coming back!
