Great spot for families!

Our condo was clean and comfortable but what really made the stay worthwhile was the lazy river and pools. The kids couldn’t get enough of it and we enjoyed it too!

Great accommodations!

The condo itself was clean and spacious. I went with 3 gfs and we had plenty of room and the pool and lazy river was a special treat. Lazy river is huge and we floated for hrs.

Great place!

Great property and the owner was very helpful and responsive. We would stay there again. The kitchen could use some wine glasses and a few more dishes. I would also add extra pillows for sleeping in the pullout beds.

Great resort. Lovely unit. Needs new beds.

This was our family's fourth trip to PotB, and we have immensely enjoyed all of them. Unit was clean, had everything we needed, but the double bunk we were counting on for our kids' comfort was badly in need of replacing. Fold out couches worked in its place, but wasnt our prefered option.

I’m sorry you didn’t like the bunk beds. Our daughter and her friends use them all the time and have never complained about the beds being uncomfortable. However, I understand that everyone has different preferences.

Quick Beach Getaway

My stay was amazing and peaceful. The place was immaculate and exactly like how the pictures showed. It was literally home away from home, with everything you needed. My son enjoyed the pools, while I enjoyed the Lazy River and it was cool to see family up on the balcony waving down. This place was wonderful and I can not wait to go back for a longer stay.

Beautiful place

It was a beautiful resort the water access was amazing the kids loved the pool and hot tub. The only down fall was the floors in our place were disgusting our feet were black, we had to wipe off before getting in bed or putting on our shoes. Other than that it was good.

A bit expensive for the experience

Condo was not super clean, had to wash some bedding because it was dirty. Might be nice if you are bringing a boat since there is a marina, but there is no beach access. Otherwise perfectly serviceable. The pool and lazy river was very nice.

Nice amenities, nice condo, great communication with agent. Nice location. Quiet area on the bay. Really enjoyed our stay. Few suggestions, have them clean the floors better, the handles in the master bathroom jacuzzi tub leak when turned on, washing machine makes crazy noises, and the ice maker barely makes ice. But really nice condo. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Maybe upgrade the mattress.

Phoenix on the bay orange beach great for boaters

Loved the lazy river and water slide. Place needs/needed to be designed with a bigger/deeper pool and have a bar and quick food on site. Actual rental was odd with no common bathroom, only two connected to rooms so coach sleepers have to disturb. In every other way it was great fun and convenient no troubles.

Great family trip!

We brought our grandchildren and their friends on a summer getaway. Condo was perfect size. Older kids shared the smaller bedroom and younger ones slept in living room. Lazy river, water slide, and pool were a hit for all ages. There were plenty of chairs available by the pool and never a shortage of tubes. We rented a boat close by and were able to utilize dock at our resort to grab a few things we forgot to pack for our day excursion. Location of condo was close to grocery store, multiple restaurants, and beach was a short drive.

I wish I had payed more attention to all the extra fees when booking. By the time they added all the fees the total had doubled. The bed in the master bedroom was very uncomfortable.

VRBO is taking several weeks for us to see our reviews so I apologize that we are just now able to respond. We recently discovered that at some point the box springs on the master bed were upside down which caused the mattress to lack any form of support. I believe that a few other guests may have had the same problem but we were just recently made aware. We have addressed the issue and hope that you choose to stay with us again in the future. We typically get 4-5 star reviews so this is really out of the norm for us. We stay at this property several times a year and work hard to keep it in excellent condition. Unfortunately the fees are out of our control. VRBO, cleaners, and taxes all charge a specific amount and we only charge the exact amount that is billed to us.

Our unit gets cleaned after every guest. This includes mopping. I wish you would have reached out to me if the cleaning was not to your satisfaction upon arrival. I would have been happy to send our cleaners back out to fix any issues.

Nice everything, except master bed was AWFUL AWFUL AWFUL!

I haven’t seen such a bad mattress in years. It’s really uncomfortable. The sides are so worn out you just slide off! The middle has a giant hump. No blow drier. Other than that we loved everything. We actually slept on the pull out sofa and found it more comfortable than the master bed! The bunk beds were fine. (A little wobbly and no top rail, but fine). I would stay again if the master mattress was replaced, otherwise hard no.

We went to the condo today to deep clean on top of what our cleaners do on a regular flip and noticed that the box springs had been turned upside down causing the mattress to fall into the frame. We removed the mattress and put the box springs back on correctly. The mattress is only 2 years old but we did have a topper on it. We removed the memory foam topper that may have bunched up under the mattress pad causing the hump you described above. We have corrected the issues and hope you stay with us again in the future. Location of the condo was good. Very easy to get too. The description said it sleeps 9 and I'm not sure how that would have been possible. We had 6 and it was a tight fit. There were a few things broken when we arrived but I informed the owner immediately. One of the broken items was the pull out sofa sleeper which resulted in us having to get an air mattress. Even with the sofa sleeper not being broken, I'm not sure where 9 people would have slept. The second bathroom is only accessible through the bedroom so the guests staying in the living room have to go through the bedroom to get there. It was a little bit of an inconvenience since my son and daughter both brought a friend. We had to make sure the girls were dressed if the boys needed to get into the bathroom. We made it work for 3 nights so no big deal. The condo was decorated nicely and had a great view of the bay as well as the pool and lazy river. The kitchen was decently stocked but if you plan to cook a lot, you may want to bring some extra cookware. Overall, our crew of 6 enjoyed our stay other than having to make last minute sleeping arrangements.

Beautiful Condo

We’ve stayed at POB I for many years now. We love the property and typically stay at different condos every year. This condo was beautiful, just as pictured. It’s a good location to the elevator, making access to the outdoor amenities very easy. Bring your own sponge to wash dishes. Surprisingly, there wasn’t one. My only disappointment is that I emailed the owner through VRBO and her email on the day of check-in and that email was never acknowledged. Thankfully, it was nothing urgent. A response would have been appreciated. Our stay was wonderful. Instructions/expectations from the owner were clear. Oh!!…I do not like that I was forced to purchase damage insurance for $119 OR pay $5k up front for possible refund afterwards. I understand, but I still didn’t like it.

This is our newest property. We bought this condo because we are avid boaters and love the private launch and the abundance of boat slips to rent. We also love the amenities that this complex offers... Lazy river, multiple outdoor pools, rooftop tennis courts, indoor pool, hot tubs, fitness center, and putting greens. It doesn't matter what season it is, you will never get bored here with the abundance of choices.
