The beachfront property has an excellent view of the beach and is great with children. We went in July and the beach was clean and not crowded. The sleeping accommodation is fantastic for a family with children or college kids, but not ideal for more than two adults with only one private room with a large bed. The bottom of the refrigerator door handle was broken and the top kitchen cabinet hits the ceiling fan when opened, otherwise the house is in good condition. The space under the house is very large with various places to sit, has one private shower and two water hoses. The utility closet houses the washer and dryer and has extra beach chairs and toys. It was more expensive than larger, newer properties in the community, but the location was what attracted us.

Communication with the host was excellent. They responded very quickly to my questions. House was clean and in a great spot. It was perfect if you have small children. If they needed to go to restroom, or take a break from the sun, or whatever else kiddos can think of…you’re literally just steps from the beach. We were there for memorial day and the beach was quiet which was great.

This beachouse was fantastic! We absolutely loved the location. You are literally right there on the beach. It was so convenient to enjoy the beach and have the house right there to run back and forth for things, or for those who wanted to be in the ac they could still see us at the beach. Really loved the no vehicles on the beach area this home is in. Just made it more private, less busy, safer for the kids and asthetically prettier. The house itself slept so many and all so comfortably, beds were great, with extra ac units in two of the bedrooms, the home stayed ice cold. We will definitely book this house first when available in the future. It was just perfect. The owners were also so so nice and so accommodating with our special requests. Just amazing, thank you for a great weekend for our family.

This property made for a great stay on our vacation. It's just steps away from the beach, and about a 15 minute drive from downtown Galveston.

Its a great house a few steps away from the beach and plenty of space for the whole family. It was serene community and the house amenities were just perfect. We didnt find the laundry (downstairs) until a bit too late but its a great feature too. Thank you for making this family vacation a possibility for us.

Beautiful ocean view

We really enjoyed our stay. Property was very clean, check in super easy and literally steps from the beach and ocean. Pretty well stocked, you can tell the owners are continuing to fix the place up and they're doing a nice job! Overall, great place to stay and we recommend it!

Great location to watch the sun rise!

My family and I enjoyed this property. The house is a cozy retreat with great views. The proximity to the beach was awesome. My husband and I could watch the kids play on the beach from the balcony.

We rented the property for 4 nights. The house had bugs (ants and roaches) crawling on the counters in the kitchen while trying to cook, bugs in the bathroom, and bedroom, and smelled horrible (musty and sewage smell). The listing stated the house was redone inside and out with new beds, etc. The mattress was old and dirty. The house is not updated or redone. The chairs on the patio are locked up with a padlock that’s rusted, so they cannot be unlocked. We were there over a holiday weekend, so we could not find anywhere else to stay until the 3rd night. We rented this property plus another property to leave this one asap. The owner was not willing to acknowledge there were issues or refund the nights we did not stay at the property due to its condition. We reached out to the owner and VRBO multiple times during our stay. The owner reportedly sent someone to check the smell. We requested to be there when the person came over. The person either came when we were not there (when asked to wait until we were home) or did not come. The owner reported the person said there was no smell-which I’m unsure how that’s possible when we all did smell it. So unfortunately, we spent extra to stay elsewhere the last 2 nights (plus hours in the car waiting for the next place to be ready) which was still worth it to not be in this home unfortunately.

Wonderful location!

Great location on a part of the beach where vehicles are not allowed. Literally feet from the beach. Even during Spring Break it was not noisy or crowded. Beds were comfortable, plenty of towels and the kitchen has everything you need. Great communication with Owner!

Perfect Beachfront Home

This house is a gem steps away from the beach! The location is perfect—just 8 miles from Moody Gardens but far enough away from the tourist-y sea wall. We enjoyed evenings on the patio. The kitchen is equipped with everything you need, bathrooms are spacious and the kids loved both bunk rooms. The host had great communication—don’t wait, rent it for your family getaway!

Property was in the perfect location. No beach crowds, steps from the beach. Home was well appointed. We experienced a little hiccup getting into the property but neighbor helped us and owner was responsive. We would love to come back.

Beautiful beach location

House was everything we expected and more. It’s is a cute house and a great location, literally walking distance from the beach. We loved just sitting outside on the outside patio. House was very clean and had everything we needed in it to cook. Would have liked to have a access to a grill, but other then that it was great!

The location of this house is amazing. You are right on a beach which was not crowded at all. The outdoor shower makes cleaning up from your beach time easy. Lots of cooking equipment in kitchen. House is showing some wear and tear.

We just spent 6 days at this wonderful beach house for a family vacation. The house had everything we needed and the views were amazing. A very short 20 second walk to the beach each day made for a very easy beach set up. The host was super gracious and responded promptly to messages and questions. We will definitely be back to Bella Vista. So far my fav beach house yet! Thank you!

Beach weekend

We had a lovely time at this beach house. The location cannot be beat. You are literally steps away from the beach. The beach was not overcrowded at all. We ran into difficulty when checking in because the code was not working to get in. We were quickly able to get in contact with the host to fix this. The house was mostly clean but we found some trash from the previous guest. We could not open the door for the outdoor shower because the latch is broken. Otherwise, the house is nice and we enjoyed our weekend. We would definitely stay there again in the future!

Great location in Galveston

We visited Palm Beach over Spring Break with 3 teenagers. Although the weather did not cooperate, we enjoyed great walks and runs on the beach and a comfortable living room for watching March Madness. The bathrooms are larger and more updated than those of other beach houses we have stayed in recently. The two bunkbed rooms are cute and fun for kids and teens. The kitchen was pretty well stocked. (I think the only things we would have liked that we could not find were foil and cling wrap.) The location could not have been better. The house is just a few steps from the beach. The porch would be wonderful in warmer weather. Finally, this subdivision, as well as those on either side, have beaches that are not open to traffic. One of my pet peeves in Galveston is that, in many places, you have to share the beach with cars. Not here. Highly recommend.

The location was steps from the beach with a great ocean view from the covered porch. House is older and could use some updates. But for the price? It was perfect. House was clean and equipped. Outside showers were a plus. Two large bathrooms were nice.

This place was perfect for what we needed. With 2 young children it was a very short walk to the beach and the front porch had a locking gate so we could let the kids play on the deck. 10/10 would rent again!
