This efficiency home has many things to offer. This is a dry cabin with no electric. Bring your own water for drinking and cooking needs. Need a getaway to a place where nobody is around, the peace and serenity will mystify you and bring you back to what it was like in the pioneer days. Beautiful variety of pines and wildlife await, while you take it all in with beautiful sunsets! Rafting, helicopter rides, atving, , royal gorge train ride, mining store, and restaurants are 20 minutes away for your convenience! Bring your ATV's, kayaks, paddle boards, for you own personal enjoyment through some trails, and lakes that will take your breathe away! You also 1000s of acres of BLM land behind for amazing hikes to see someamazing rock croppings!
***Come see the fall foliage in September! With all the moisture we been getting amazing wild flowers throughout the area 😀

Over priced

Although remote there are still a lot of neighbors and a good deal of traffic on the road right out front. Electric system is insufficient for the demand, we ran out of power three of the four nights we were there. It is extremely over priced for what you get

I'm sorry you had a tough time with the electrical. Ive never ran into an issue during the summer months unless it was cloudy for 2 days straight. You should of contacted my while on your stay to relay the issue. At what time did power go out? I've addressed this issue a few days ago with no response so this is clearly someone who has nothing better to do then relay a negative message. For any future people who stay feel free to contact me with any issues while your staying there so we can clear things up promptly! We appreciate your business!

I WAS SCAMMED!!!!😠

It was nasty. Weeds grown up. Firepit grown up with weeds. Road/ drive washed out. Couldnt get truck in there. Washouts up to my knees. No other cabin anywhere around this area. Lean shed full of junk. Old equipment in grown up lot next to cabin. Pictures and description of cabin were misleading. I have pictures. And i am requesting my money to be refunded.

This was rectified as a hoax customer who had no morals. You can contact VRBO customer service and find this was handled correctly as the customer didn't realize this was an off-grid location. I hope everyone does their research before booking as this place is a very unique property with an amazing views and solitude! Happy Travels!

Beautifully Remote Property

This beautiful property is located about 30 minutes from canyon city. It was a very quiet and remote property with very little to no cell service. It was nice to unplug and enjoy nature and we even got to see some wildlife such as a bear and some deer during our stay. We especially enjoyed the the deck area, it was very relaxing. While in the area we took the Royal Gorge train ride and would recommend it, we had a great time. The property had solar electricity so you have to be mindful about electricity use. Just be sure to not leaving anything on that you aren’t using and you should be fine. We look forward to coming back for another stay in the future! Thank you for sharing your property.

Peace & Quiet!

This tiny house and it's location was just what the doctor ordered! The house had some nice touches, was comfortable and enough room for a couple and our dog. We spent most of our time on the deck which had a wonderful view. We will definitely consider another visit!

Quiet off the grid spot with a great view

We had an excellent time at this place. Sitting on the porch looking out over the valley was very peaceful and we grilled every night.
