Welcome to the Chalets Hosszu! We are located in the Hautes Alpes and we’re passionate about our mountains. We offer 10 chalets in Vars and Montgenèvre that can accommodate 12 to 24 people. In this listing, we present our 360m² chalet "Le Soleil" for 22 people, west-facing and directly located on the ski slopes.

We are open year-round and offer weekend or weekly rentals. Weekly rentals are available from late December to late March and from early July to late August.

As a small and dedicated team, we are highly available to assist you during your stay. We can connect you with service providers for meals or certified instructors for sports activities throughout the year, whether the resort is open or closed.

Welcome to Chalet "Le Soleil," the best-situated chalet in Montgenèvre! You can ski directly to and from the chalet. Located 50m from the Chalmettes télémix, you are also within 300m of ski schools, shops, and restaurants. You can park your car in the private chalet parking and leave it untouched throughout your stay.

The chalet is adorned with stones and old local wood, creating a unique and exceptional atmosphere for an unforgettable experience. Every room has been designed for your utmost comfort, including spacious bedrooms with private bathrooms and toilets, as well as various wellness facilities.

A guided tour of the chalet:

The chalet spans across 4 levels. You enter on the R1 level, where you'll find a ski room to remove and store your ski equipment. Additionally, there is a spacious living room of 80m² with large windows offering stunning views of the slopes and mountains. In the same area, the open-plan kitchen, separated by a bar made of old wood, opens onto the dining room and lounge. On this level, there is also a 40m² master suite with a private hammam room.

Moving up to the R2 level, you'll find 2 bedrooms (a dormitory with 6 beds and an independent bathroom with sauna, shower, and whirlpool bath) and a suite that opens onto the ski slopes. There is also a games room with a pool table, foosball, and a game console.

Continuing up the wooden staircase to the R3 level, you'll find 2 double bedrooms, each with their own private bathrooms.

On the ground floor of the chalet, there are 3 more double bedrooms, including a suite with a children's sleeping area. This level provides access to the solarium, where you'll find the ultimate relaxation: a heated pool with jets maintained at 31°C, and a 4-person jacuzzi heated to 37°C.

This chalet is located at the foot of the slopes in the resort of Montgenèvre. Established in 1907, Montgenèvre is the first French ski resort, situated near the Franco-Italian border at an altitude of 1860 meters. As part of the Franco-Italian Milky Way ski area, which includes Clavières, San Sicario, Césane, Sestrières, and Sauze d'Oulx (400 km of slopes and 91 ski lifts), the Montgenèvre ski area offers 100 km of slopes and 37 ski lifts.

The resort is located 20 km from the Oulx TGV train station (Italy) and 100 km from Turin airport, as well as 10 km from Briançon.

During both winter and summer, the resort shuttles run regularly to take you to the starting points of various activities.

**HIGHLIGHTS OF THE SUMMER SEASON**

- It's a cycling paradise! Take a family ride with electric mountain bikes or descend the slopes of the domain with downhill mountain bikes, where the trails are equipped with jumps and turns. More of a road cyclist? Dozens of mountain passes are accessible from the chalet.
- Montgenèvre is a central starting point for all your hikes (hundreds of kilometers!) in the Southern Alps.
- Explore mountain water in all its forms: from pedal boat rides on lakes to natural waterfalls along hiking paths, a hike to a high-altitude lake, or even rafting or inflatable canoeing down the Durance River (watch out, it's wet!)
- For children, here are a few ideas: treetop adventure courses accessible from 5 years old, climbing, via ferrata, canyoning, and don't forget the ping-pong table at the chalet.

Chalets Hosszu services include:

- Fresh bread and pastries delivered in the morning (during the summer and winter seasons when the bakery is open).
- Option to have meals delivered (half-board with a caterer or a private chef throughout the year).
- End-of-stay cleaning included, with the possibility of daily cleaning as an option.
- Linens included during the Christmas and February school holidays, with the option to add them during the rest of the year.
- 20% discount on ski equipment rentals.
- Direct ticket ordering for ski passes, with possible discounts on certain weeks.
- Connection with certified instructors who can accompany you in all your sports activities throughout the year, catering to both beginners and advanced athletes (ski touring, alpine skiing, mountaineering, climbing, fat bikes, etc.).

During the winter and summer seasons, the chalet is rented from Sunday to Sunday, with the possibility of weekend rentals depending on the period. We welcome dogs but unfortunately cannot accommodate cats.

We also offer 3 other chalets for 16 to 18 people in Montgenèvre and 6 chalets for 12 to 24 people in the Vars resort. Please feel free to inquire for more information about your group.
