Welcome to Scandinavian Staycation Cabin, nestled in the foothills of the Catskills. This home is your country getaway, mountain views and newly renovated in chic Scandinavian style. You'll have privacy and access to the entire cabin and all 5.5 acres of natural beauty. Huge picture windows bathe the cabin in light, a wood burning stove, comfortable furnishings along with light hardwood floors completes the look. High speed wifi and centrally located, just 12 min into town. 2.5-3 hrs from NYC. -Pet friendly, please inquire for guidelines. -You'll have access to a gorgeously renovated kitchen with marble counter tops and open shelves with brand new stainless steel appliances. The perfect space to create those yummy home made meals. - A super cozy living room equipped with a wood burning stove for those cold nights, smart tv and a comfy sectional to sit back, relax and enjoy the view -Cabin offers 3 bedrooms on two separate floors with just enough separation for privacy. Bedroom on the 1st floor offers a queen size bed with baseboard heating and full bathroom just across the hall. Bedrooms upstairs offer 2 twin size beds in one room and another full size bed in the other with a dedicated work from home corner space. The rooms upstairs share a half bath with a skylight. As your host I am available 24/7 to provide you with guest support, troubleshoot any issues that could arise and help plan your stay. -Delaware County, NY is an absolute gem. The cottage is ideally situated in the middle of all the little hot spots this side of the mountain has to offer. -Belleayre Mountain Ski Center is an easy 23 minute drive, a great spot to ski or snowboard. Alternatively, Platekill Mountain is a 19 minute drive and offers some good slopes for snowboarding, snow tubing and skiing. - Main street in the town of Margaretville NY is a picturesque little village, just 12 min by car offering coffee shops, art galleries, a vintage thrift store, farm to table restaurants, the Binnekill Tavern, a favorite of mine and some boutique shops. You can also shop for all your groceries at Freshtown, a large supermarket that services the area. - Take county route 6 over to Andes NY, about a 20 min drive from the cabin and you will find yourself in another super cute little town offering more farm to table restaurants, boutique and antique shops and the hip Wayside Cider Tap Room. -The towns of Arkville, Bovina and Roxbury all offer similar options and are also about a 20 minute drive from the cabin. -Woodstock and Windham are each a 50 min drive and would both make excellent day trips - And of course swimming holes and many trails are to be found all over the area -As this is a country home, a good reliable car is needed to get around. During the late fall and winter months a 4x4 or AWD vehicle will be needed to get around and access the property. -Cabin is located within 2.5 hrs of the GW Bridge.
