This stunning Emerald Towers 1700 square foot end-unit has coastal elegant decor that is both comfortable and accommodating. Enjoy fabulous sunset views of the Gulf of Mexico from the expansive fifth floor balcony and floor-to-ceiling windows. Freshly renovated in May 2013, you'll find luxurious amenities in every room. The spacious kitchen offers new upscale stainless steel appliances, granite countertops, as well as everything needed to prepare home-cooked meals. The living room is well appointed with high-end furnishings, an upscale dining table for six, and a separate wet bar area to mix your favorite cocktails. This unit boasts a 60-inch flat-panel Smart TV, soundbar audio system, and Smart Blu-Ray/DVD/CD player. The master bedroom offers a king pillow-top bed with designer bedding and furnishings, with direct access to the Gulf-front balcony. The Master bath features a deep jetted garden tub and rain shower head. The second bedroom can be used as a second master with a luxurious queen pillow-top bed, cozy designer bedding, and an adjacent bath with walk-in steam shower and rain shower head. The guest bedroom offers two double beds with matching designer bedding, lovely furnishings, and a private bath with rain shower head. Each bedroom offers a 32” flat-panel TV, DVD/CD player, and alarm clock with an iPod dock. This unit features everything you need for a fantastic beach getaway, including a private full-size washer and dryer, and double sleeper sofa.

The view was beautiful! space inside was perfect; however, the carpet was not vacuumed and prior to our visit I emailed the owner asking it to be cleaned based on the reviews. We had a 2 yr. old! No ice/water in the refrig as described, jets didn't work in tub, mattresses were terrible!!, curtains falling off the rods, nice furniture!, dishes were good, on call/onsite mang. was good, maded phots for personal puroses choses not to post!

Wasn't taken care of .dishwasher didn't work. Ice maker didn't work. Curtains was falling off the rods. The thing that got me the most after a long trip and getting settled in went to go to bed and there was blood on the sheets . To make it worst there was no extra sheets for me to change them . So we had to sleep on top of the bedding and froze to death. Didn't get clean sheets until 800pm the next night

Room for improvement

Overall it was fine. Zero water pressure in the kitchen sink. The we had to continuously close the dishwasher to get through a cycle. The ice maker dumped more ice in the bottom of the freezer than in glasses. We just started getting it out of the bottom. The curtains wouldn’t close. For the price we will do something different

This unit is very dated. Also, the evening of our arrival we found both of the kitchen sinks totally stopped up, as well as the Master bathroom tub. A plumber came about 8:30 pm and successfully unstopped all of them. Also, one suggestion is to remove the carpet and switch to tile...much cleaner. Otherwise, we all enjoyed our stay very much!

Property grounds were very clean. The master bathroom tub Jett’s have visible mold . Carpets could use a good cleaning . Living room TV had no volume. Other than the items listed we enjoyed our stay.

Great Condo that needs TLC

There is carpet in the living room and bedrooms…the carpet had stains which look gross. Two of the bathrooms had recessed light fixtures that were hanging. One of the bathrooms had mildew and mold. The drywall by the balcony door was crumbling off. The bottom shelf on the refrigerator door was cracked and unusable. There was a piece of food under the loveseat. The floor to ceiling mirror on the wall in the entrance area was cracked and taped. Just a good amount of little things that need to be fixed and cleaned. Once you get over that stuff, the condo was fine. The layout is good and the overall property is a great place to stay.

A few things off

The condo was clean. We were never able to connect to the Wi-Fi. The cold water in the kitchen didn’t work, nor did the ice maker. The patio furniture was quite lacking.

Wonderful location....BUT

Love the location and the beach was beautiful. It was a nice big condo plenty of room for six adults. However, one bathroom overflowed and didn't work well the whole stay. Also, the icemaker DID NOT make ice. Living room recliners were broken. Other than those issues we DID enjoy our stay. Maybe these issues will be resolved soon.

Our view was beautiful but…

Great location, beautiful view and it’s a big corner unit! It was great that each bdrm has its own bathroom. However, as soon as you walk in you can smell mold. Which caused us stuffy noses every morning. The middle shower is cover in mold (ceiling and the tile grout).That same shower was not cleaned properly.It had long black hairs on the shower walls and drain was full of the same black hair from previous guest. In the back bathroom there was a used washcloth that was left from previous owner. Disgusting!We also had a hard time getting dishwasher to work.After slamming the door it locked and we’re able to use it. It would also be a good idea to bring your own TP(what they provide is harsh). I think the unit could use some updates and a better cleaning person.

Beautiful Views, Great Vacation

Overall we loved this condo. The kitchen, washer/dryer, appliances, spaciousness and comfort of living areas were better than we expected. We loved the ease of entering upon arrival and the easy access to the beach, the elevators were conveniently located, the pool area more than adequate and well maintained. There are however a few things for the owners to address— hopefully before we plan another vacation in Destin. The king size bed in the master bedroom needs to be replaced. It was very soft and sunk in a bit in the middle. I slept well the entire week but my husband struggled with it and said he would definitely come back to this unit if they replaced the mattress. A couple of things for the owners awareness... the master bath toilet runs frequently, though we weren't inconvenienced by it. My husband tried to fix it but couldn't. The reclining loveseat was broken, which meant not using them as recliners. Also, the curtains, (or rather the hanging mechanisms) are broken in various places so it all looks odd when closed. Oh, and the wifi was weak and kept dropping. Thank you for such an enjoyable vacation.
