Moulin de Chazotte - historic watermill for up to 20 people with private pool

Welcome to Le Moulin de Chazotte, a 16th century French watermill offering beautiful, family friendly self-catering holiday accommodation near Cognac, France.

Our four exclusive gîtes are brimming with charm and character whilst offering all the modern comforts and facilities to ensure you have a relaxing and rewarding holiday. All gîtes have their own private terrace and also offer access to 12 acres of grounds and facilities, including the large heated swimming pool.

Located in blissful rural tranquillity within the Poitou-Charente region on the French Atlantic coast, we are only 10 minutes away from historic Cognac and a short drive to the nearest village with that all important local boulangerie. This picturesque region is steeped in Roman and Medieval history and is known for its sleepy villages, Romanesque churches, heritage towns, as well as for the famous and delicious Cognac drink of course.

You can rent the entire place for your exclusive use, accommodating up to 20 people in our four gites. The configuration is as follows:

La Principale (6 people)
- 2 double bedrooms, one with ensuite
- 1 twin bedroom

L'Abricotier (6 people)
- 1 double bedroom with shower
- 1 twin bedroom
- 1 bunk room

Le Hibou (4 people)
- 1 double bedroom with bath
- 1 twin bedroom

Le Chai (4 people)
- 1 family room with double bed and bunk beds

All the gites are equipped with their own kitchens, living rooms, bathrooms, terrace and barbecues. In addition, you will have the exclusive use of our large barn which can be set up with a large table so that the group can all eat together.

Finally, you will of course have private use of our large saltwater swimming pool and beautiful gardens.
