Tidewater Beach Resort is located on 636 feet of beautiful white sand gulf beaches, housing 570 luxury gulf front units. A first class resort condominium featuring an impressive array of amenities for your enjoyment. Two huge lagoon pools, indoor pool, a 4300 square foot fitness center with "health bar" and (2)spas, 5000 square foot conference center, movie/media center, movie theater, game room,seven elevators and much, much more are just some of the features planned for this building. All of this can be your home away from home. Bathrooms and kitchen fully renovated in 2025, also new flooring in bedrooms and new paint.

This 3rd floor corner unit definitely has the wow! factor. With floor to ceiling glass surrounding the entire living and dining area, you'll enjoy views of the gulf that are just as spectacular from the inside living area as they are outside from the balcony. Living arrangements are plush, yet extremely functional. You will absolutely love your stay here at this unit. Beach service included during season (March 1-October 20).

Pier Park located just 1/3 mile away is a shopping and dining experience. It essentially has all
the stores you and the kids love to shop at. Think of any store or brand, it is probably there at Pier Park. It also features great restaurants and entertainment establishments.

Please note: This resort requires the purchase of parking passes and wrist bands: 3-bedroom unit: $60 + tax +credit card fee
Total $67.41 and includes up to 3 parking passes and up to 10 wristbands. Wristbands are required for all occupants over age 12. Late registration (within 1 day of check in) will incur a penalty of an additional $10.

Singles under the age of twenty-five (25) are prohibited from booking unless accompanied by a parent or legal guardian. For all family groups, married couples and responsible adults over the age of 25, proof of age is required. There may be additional restrictions regarding the number of people that may accompany a parent or legal guardian. Age and identity will be verified prior to check-in

Nice condo on third floor

Good experience with 3 bedroom condo on third floor oceanfront. Parking garage attached across the street. Spring break week so elevators hard to come by. We walked stairs about 50% of time

Very nice condo!

My family had a great stay at Tidewater. The only complaint I would have is that I wasn't aware that I needed to do the Tidewater registration in advance in order for the parking and wristbands to be $32. If you wait and do it on check in its $50. The condo is big and spacious and my family 8 had a great stay! Elevators were a pain and long wait to get groceries or luggage to and from the car. We used the stairs the rest of the stay.

Great room but smelled like cantaloupe.

Check in was easy but I didn’t recurve an email or notification of registration needing to be done prior to arrival so it cost me $75 for late registration. Only negative part about process.

Perfect destination

We rented this property for our family of four (two kids ages 11 and 12), another family, with a 9 and 17 year old, as well as a friend with a 6 year old. This property suited all of us perfectly! The pool was great for the evenings, the corner balcony overlooking both the pool, and the beach, was beautiful. The parking garage is across the street, and the cross walk comes into the second floor, so staying on the third floor was super convenient for those times where an elevator was impossible to get. Walking up one set of stairs to reach the room, or a couple floors for the beach and pool, was so much better than the long elevator wait times. The property itself (Tidewater) could handle more elevators, however, room 317 was a great location. Looking forward to staying here again!

Disappointed

The moment we walked in there was a moldy smell, so we went and bought lysol to wipe counters, doors and bathrooms down, so we spent the first day cleaning. We had planned to spend Saturday watching football game's and eating in but found out none of the 4 TVs worked. So instead we had to find a restaurant to sit in the watch our teams play. Room had plenty of room it just wasn't the welcoming experience we expected

Location and view great, everything else bad

No ac and service folks could not fix. Elevators slow to nonexistent. Had to use stairs. unit smelled. 1 stool was broken upon arrival. Lobby or main entry was under construction. Patio had m&m,s stuck to floor and couldn’t be cleaned. Overall, unit was dirty and needs to be renovated. Beds had foam rubber on mattresses and sheets didn’t fit. Temperature at night in the coolest part of the unit was 79 degrees F. Needless to say my guess were miserable

Beautiful but the elevators are an issue

The condo was gorgeous. Perfect for us. Thank goodness it was on the 3rd floor because the elevators weren’t working half the time or waits were 30-45mins. so we used the stairs most of the time. They have 2 outdoor pools, but one was closed for maintenance. Indoor pool was also closed. So the pool area was very crowded. A beach chair set came with the condo which was very nice, but you had to go down each morning and wait in line for an hour to be assigned a chair each day. That was a hassle. They won’t let you have the same chair all week. The workout facilities were nice, but one of the TVs and at least one treadmill weren’t working.

Very dirty!

First of all the entire resort feels and SMELLS like a giant motel. The restaurant within Tidewater is small and not clean. All of the pools were filthy, the elevators are useless we had to take the stairs every time other wise you’re waiting 20-30 minutes for an elevator. The beach is extremely crowded since the resort is so large. As for the actual condo, as soon as we walked in it smelled like garbage and sewage. The flood made your feet turn black no matter how much we cleaned them, the tubs were so dirty we didn’t even let our toddlers take baths they had to shower, the living room rug was so dirty that we just rolled it up and didn’t use it all week. There was makeup smeared over the counter and floor in one of the bathrooms, it was clear that the place had not been properly cleaned in who knows how long. We absolutely will not be revisiting the Tidewater!

Broken AC. Received 0 contact from owner. Elevators were 30+ min wait to go up or down.

The condo was nice. There was sand all throughout the floors upon arrival. I understand we’re staying on the beach but the cleaning crew could have done a better job. Multiple pieces of silverware and cookware were put away dirty when we went to use them. The owner of the condo provides ZERO contact. Our AC broke the first night of our stay. When going to the front desk they said we needed to contact the owner which of course could not get in touch with. After 2 1/2 hours on the phone we reached a woman who offered a partial refund which was never received. This place has 30 floors so the elevators took 30+ minutes to come up or down. When visiting the beach our first day realizing the elevator situation, almost every single group we spoke to while waiting in line said they will never stay there again. We will not be returning to this place.

Great View & Locale

The condo is located in walking distance to many restaurants and Pier Park which we loved. The unit being on 3rd floor was great because we could choose stairs when elevators had longer wait times. The layout of condo was great for 9 guests, very open floor plan with a sectional and other seating as well as a stunning view! My complaints are with AC unit, leak under sink, not TV connectivity in any of the rooms but living room and ridiculous pathing in parking garage. We read reviews prior and there were countless AC complaints so there is ZERO excuse for owners and management company to replace at this point. Outside temps were in 40-50 at night and AC wouldn’t get below 75! I can only imagine trips ruined during heat of summer. The garage was packed with little parking at night after dinners out. They should assign pathing spots to units to prevent this! They also constantly are cleaning and taping off large amounts of spots to further the issue. Our 18yr old daughter parked in a spot that ended up being a tow zone spot and got towed which cost us $300 and a day of our vacation to salvage. We will not rent this unit in the future unless it clearly states a NEW AC INSTALLED.

Filthy and smelled like a sewer !!!

I would give this place zero stars if possible !! Unit smelled like a sewer, had not been properly cleaned in a long time, and the resort was a nightmare. 2 of the 3 bedrooms closers were unusable as they were either locked or filled with owner’s trash, step ladder, or miscellaneous other stuff. 2 of the 3 lamps in the living room were inoperative; one was broken, the other was not near enough to any plug to be usable. Dishes and silverware were dirty. Ice maker wouldn’t work because someone jammed a keurig k-cup into the metal bar in the ice-maker. It was impossible to get an elevator most days.. one huge problem was that one of the tower employees locked the 3 main elevators up during peak periods in a weak attempt to get tips by pretending to help check-ins. We took over 20 pictures documenting this total waste of thousands of dollars and a ruined vacation. We travel extensively and this was by far the worse of our experiences …. We will never stay in this building or anywhere near it …. We attempted to contact the facility manager, vrbo and others for days …. And it took days before we got a response …. Too little, too late …. Will be looking for other venues to spend our travel dollars in the future….

Not Recommended

Elevators were slow. There are 30 floors with not enough elevators. There were even signs posted telling you to plan your vacation days around the elevator high traffic times. Average wait time for us was 20 minutes (and we were on the 3rd floor.) Most of the time we took the stairs, but you can’t do that with a wagon loaded with your tent, beach chairs, cooler, etc. The unit also had a terrible odor. We found the cause in the hot water heater closet. There was a leaking pipe with a bowl that had been placed underneath it. The bowl was overflowing into a plastic bag (which was also placed under the leak) and had mold growing in it. I reported it to the rental company and they sent someone to check it but did not repair it. We had to empty the bowl each day we were there. We had two young children walking barefooted in the unit. Within thirty minutes, their feet were black with dirt from the floor. I don’t usually write negative reviews, but I wanted potential renters to be aware. Hopefully the property managers will ensure the leak is fixed and the floors are clean. Not sure what can be done about the elevators. My sister’s family had a better experience in their room, but they were also highly disappointed in the elevators.

My family and I were not impressed. For the amount of money we paid for a 5 night stay we were expecting a much cleaner and efficient condo. The only nice part about the condo was how close it was to the beach. The pool area was nice as well. Shortly after checking in we had a maintenance man arrive to fix the kitchen faucet which I’m assuming the family before us reported an issue with it. He “fixed” it and left. Later that night when filling a pot with water, the water pressure was super low and then water starting coming from underneath the sink on to the floor. We called the maintenance line only to reach a voicemail. We spent our first night washing dishes in the bathroom sink. We noticed under the sink a hose attachment was loose. Fixed that and every thing was good until the garbage disposal started leaking. We stopped using that side of the sink. Next morning the dishwasher started leaking. We eventually had to wash dishes by hand on the one good draining side of the sink. Not what we had in mind for what we thought would be a relaxing stress free vacation. The bathroom tubs were filthy and would not wipe off. We had a baby that we had no choice but to bathe in these tubs. Our feet were black in no time from the floors and the baby’s knees were dirty from crawling on the floors. The area rug in the living room was so mangy and needs to be replaced. Lots of dirty areas throughout. Thankfully we were only on the 3rd floor because the elevators take forever!

The corner condo was nice overall. Corner view to the beach was great. We received all info from the rental agency before arriving at condo, which made the check-in quick and easy. Only complaint is the price of the room almost doubled after adding all the "extra" fees.

Beautiful condo and beach!

I was by myself. A last minute trip. The view is so exquisite from the living room, that I slept on the couch to fall asleep and wake up to!! Beautiful property. Beautiful beach!! I was so happy here!

Needed extra cleaning

Location was good but had walkway to parking area closed for maintenance. Room not as clean as expected. Windows dirty floor in hall and kitchen area dirty.
