One Bedroom Deluxe Garden View Luana Kai Resort B108

B108 with AC is a Ground floor,  2 bedroom, 2 bathroom garden view condo. It offers easy access to the putting green, pool, bbq's, tennis, pickleball and ocean. 
B108 was totally remodeled and features a wonderful kitchen complete with everything you need to enjoy your Maui home.  The master bedroom has a king size bed while the guest bedroom has two twins.  There is a pull out sofa bed in the living room making it possible to accommodate 6 people.  The bathrooms are also remodeled with stand up showers in both.

Lovely pool area with hot tub, saunas & 5 gas bbq grills.   Tennis & pickleball courts.

Care to windsurf or kitesurf? Just enjoy watching? Luana Kai is walking distance to the South of one of the worlds most famous wind surfing parks. The park has been upgraded with great roadside parking so now its a good bet you can even drive there. Watch the beautiful sails ply the waves as giant colorful kites pull surfers high above the water.

Due to back-to-back bookings, cleaning, and maintenance schedules, late checkouts cannot be accommodated at this time. If you have a late flight out, we recommend booking an extra night to accommodate your schedule. Mahalo for understanding.

Nice Unit, Great Location

Kihei is a great central location for the island and the unit and complex was nice. The grills by the pool were high end and there were lot's of them.

Amazing and quiet stay

Our stay went amazingly well. The community was friendly and welcoming. The pool and hot tub were welcoming on days that were too windy for us at the beach or to cook and hang out by. Our communication with the property manager as well as the owners were promptly responded to and always respectful in nature. I would highly recommend this property as a getaway.

Excellent! Home away from Home!

This place has everything! Kitchen fully stocked. Very. Clean. Landscape very green. And very close to the beach. Very family friendly. Even has a washer machine to wash your close. Can’t wait to return. Thank you!

Some good, but definitely some bad

The Good: - first floor access to the grounds and pool is very nice - the location of the condo is great - the amount of space in the unit is really good - really spacious family/dining room, and both bedrooms were large - on the 2nd night, 1/2 of the power went out. I notified the manager. To management's credit, they were able to contact an electrician and get it fixed within a couple of hours and this all occurred on a Friday night. The Bad: 1. there was no direct contact information for the owner/manager - the only number is the office number for the resort but we arrived after they were closed so then there was no contact info - no phone number, no email, the only option was to message through the vrbo app - there were instructions on getting into the unit which was to go to the lanai of the night manager which has stone steps that look like feet - there was no map of the location of the night manager or the lanai - there was no unit number of the night manager - after walking around the entire building, we finally found the lanai on the back of the building - this is why there should be direct after hours contact information 2. Disappointed in the communication with the manager: - one of the first messages between the manager and us was that we wanted to use the air conditioner for the entire stay and that understanding this would be an extra charge - disappointed that the air conditioner was not operable upon arrival - messaged the manager through the app, received a call from her and she said she would send the night manager to turn on the air conditioner - after about 3 more hours, contacted the manager again to see when the air conditioner would be turned on, she said she would send over the night manager right away - the night manager arrived around 5-10 minutes later - expected the air conditioner to be working upon arrival and not to have to wait an additional 3+hrs to have it turned on - also, the pool code was changed during our stay and we were not notified 3. Minimal supplies: - having stayed at around a dozen VRBO's, this is the first one that had no shampoo or conditioner, it also had only a few towels including only 3 beach towels. - there was also a note that stated if we ran out of toilet paper after the provided 4 rolls, we were on our own 4. Housekeeper was early on checkout - we had an11am checkout and they arrived well before which was inconvenient.

Aloha and thank you for your comments. We did drop the ball on noting the a/c on your condo. My sincere apologies for that. The electric issue was a plug on the electric pole the disconnected in the wind. All of A and B buildings had half of the electricity in the condo not working. Thank goodness the electric company responded fairly quickly. The instructions for late check in were emailed to you prior to arriving at Luana Kai. These same instruction are on the front office door with a map to get to the night managers condo which is directly across from the front office. Our after hours phone number is on the front office door and inside the condo. There were 3 beach towels in the condo for you because the reservation listed 3 occupants. There is a washer/dryer in the condo for you as this is condo living and not a hotel with maid service etc. We thank you for comments.

We really liked the overall property, location and community. The unit was well stocked with anything we could need while staying here. Beach chairs, umbrella, towels, kitchen well stocked with dishes, newer cookware, knives all types of kitchen accessories and even spices, coffee filters and aluminum foil, saran wrap etc, which was a great surprise. The only negative we would have is that the condo could use some updating. Although clean it looks like it is still original 1980s.

Nice place and good location

We stayed for 8 days and enjoyed the property. Grounds are very well maintained as is the pool area. The condo is dated but very spacious, clean, and is a great location to get to the pool and the beach. The area is less congested than others. If we return to Maui, we’d stay here again.

Old property- avoid if possible

Property is very old but somehow pictures gives a totally different view . They charge if you use AC.

Great property, great location, Lesley is amazing!

Our family of 4 stayed 2 weeks. The property is clean. The units was as advertised. The location is perfect. Small 4 buildings in the complex. Nice pool, BBQ’s hot tub. Was on the beach. No crossing the road. We had ground floor unit perfect for kids to go between pool, beach & condo. Best of all Lesley the site manager was a absolute doll, and was polite, active, and enjoyable.

I am Leslie and I moved to Maui 40 years ago.  I immediately started work at Luana Kai in Kihei and am still here.  I am blessed to call Luana Kai my FAMILY.  I have had the pleasure of watching families grow up year after year and some who were babies when I started are coming back with their babies now.  Such a delight.
