Panhandle Getaways furnishes a few essential items for guests to utilize until they can get to the grocery store. Initial Supplies include: Dishwasher soap, small washing machine powder, each bathroom has amenities (like hotel but NOT restocked) shampoo, conditioner, soap bar. One roll of toilet paper in each bathroom & one paper towel roll in the kitchen. All bed linens and towels are provided. We encourage guests to bring beach towels for use at the pool and beach.

great trip

We have stayed at the Summit for the last couple of visits to Panama. We really love the property. The room was clean and just as pictured. Just a note to future renters, the beds are firm. I am used to a plush mattress and this was different. However after the first night, the firmness did not bother me.

Beautiful condo!

We have rented from the summit the past 10 years and this is one of the nicest rooms we have stayed in. There were 2 full bathrooms instead of a sliding door separating the two! Bed was very comfortable and kitchen had everything we needed. We will definitely want to book this room again!

Great Experience

Everything was great. My kids and I had a blast and they loved the bunk beds. The pool and tiki bar scene was pretty wild due to it being spring break but we had fun! Will definitely book there in the near future.

4th time at this condo unit

I have stayed at this condo 4 times , love the location and the decor and the fact it’s on the 4 th floor so no elevator wait if u don’t want to wait .it’s walkable. My only wish is that they would add two low chairs along with the high ones in the balcony as some can’t sit up that high.

Mother daughters trip

We loved the activities and convenience to everything at this condo. Elevators are extremely slow, especially during peak season, but our unit was on the 4th floor, so we could take steps when it was super crowded. Mattresses could use upgrading as well as kitchen cookware but we had everything we needed. The TVs were difficult to figure out. Overall we did love it.

This condo is full of mold and bugs. We attempted to get some kind of a refund but could never get a call back. Pictures were sent to owner representatives and promises never kept. Its gross, never ever book with this owner or management company. If we could give it zero srars, we would.

Family trip

Was disappointed in the property. We needed bedding for the pullout sofa, I messaged the property manager who said it should be in the closet, it was not, so he said they would bring some to us. They never did. In addition, the ROKUS do not work. They would time out saying low voltage. Which brings up another issue. There must be low power to the building because devices like ipads would not fully charge overnight. My cell phone only charged once fully after being plugged in all night. Very inconvenient. Especially when we couldn't get the tvs to work and needed our devices because it was rainy while we were there. For thousands we spent these are things you would expect to have. Also the King bed is definitely too firm for my liking. So if you don't sleep well on a very firm mattress, don't stay here. The beach area was lovely and not overcrowded. We did like that!

I was very pleased with our place and stay. My family had a great time! It was everything we needed.

It was great location and not super crowded which was wonderful. Everything we needed was very close. My only complaint would be the floors and elevators. So the 4th floor was perfect because we took stairs plenty. The floors were pretty dirty but overall place was clean and equipped with just about everything! Will definitely consider staying here again!!!

Overall very relaxing and enjoyable

The elevators on property are terrible so be prepared for stairs which isn’t all bad. The pools were great and the beach was as always amazing. Maid service finished at 2 but we were still not allowed into the room until 4. We were told no early check in but also no late checkout. Overall that was mildly annoying but not an overall killer. I would stay at this place again

Great vacation

The rooms were clean and inviting. Front desk staff at check-in looked and acted like she just really didn’t want to be there. The place was very packed which made the elevator rides long and there was no moving air inside the elevator. Also, had an issue with one of the staff on the beach cursing at our kids because they were sitting in a beach chair that wasn’t rented. Fixed that complaint myself !!! Other than that, the pool and beach areas were very well maintained. The DJ could have stayed longer but overall had a great time.

Will never rent through Panhandle again!

We checked in a little after 4pm as instructed. Walked up to our rental to unpack just to find it had not been cleaned from the previous renters. I had to place 6 calls before anything was done which took until 8pm. Although walking into a clean rental should have been a priority, I got nothing more than attitude and excuses. I will never rent from this place again!

Don’t stay at this resort.

The condo itself was fine... kind of misleading from the pictures but we could’ve made it work. However the entire property was disgusting and so sketchy. We had to leave less than 24 hours after “checking in” and that process was a joke. The “security guard” didn’t check any form of ID and she just let us right in which was not at all comforting knowing just about anyone could get onto this property. As if we thought it couldn’t get worse both elevators were broken so we had to use the staircase (which was maybe a foot wide) to move all our luggage.... keep in mind this place has more than 10 floors, the elevator should not be broken- especially during spring break season. We knew this place was definitely terrible when you could type any code into the door and it would open. Not at all safe for a group of college women traveling alone. We slept the first night with all our luggage barricaded against the door because there was no lock on the inside. 100% don’t recommend staying here at all, don’t waste your money.
