Enjoy your mountain getaway in this beautifully furnished 1-bedroom, 1-bathroom condo that sleeps 4 guests. You will find a memory foam mattress on the master bed as well as the sleeper sofa in the living room. Other updates include stainless steel appliances in the kitchen and beautiful furnishings throughout. This condo is ideally located in River Run Village, so you’re just steps away from shopping, restaurants and Keystone festivals. Plus, you're a very short walk from the high-speed gondola. After an active day on the mountain, you can enjoy the pool tables and hot tubs at Buffalo Lodge or the year-round heated pool located next door at Dakota Lodge.

The entryway has mounted hooks and a bench. The living area features a flat screen TV, with chromecast smart device attached, above a stone gas fireplace. The living room comfortably seats 4 with beautiful leather furniture that converts into a queen-sized sleeper sofa. Extra sheets and blankets are provided. Off of the living area is the private balcony that offers mountain views.

The kitchen is fully stocked with all the essential cookware and tableware to make a meal away from home and features stainless steel appliances. The dining area comfortably seats four. The full bathroom has a single sink vanity and a shower/tub combination and is stocked with towels and an initial supply of toiletries. The bedroom features a king sized bed with memory foam mattress, as well a flatscreen TV.

*Please note that we have a minimum age requirement. To reserve one of our vacation rentals the paying guest must be 24 years of age or older.

BUT: In the summer months, with no AC, you’d like to leave the windows open at night for cooler sleeping. Unfortunately, there are very noisy AC units for the first floor commercial units that run until 2 AM directly beneath the windows - making it uncomfortable to sleep. Secondly, I asked to leave my vehicle in the parking garage until 5:30 on the day of departure. I was told unequivocally “no, you must be out by 4:30.” Simply inconvenient, especially since the garage was less than 25% full. I’d recommend this rental - just be sure you are not booked into a room on the Gondola parking lot side in summer, so you can avoid the AC noise at night.

Great place at base of Keystone

Location is impossible to beat. Place had everything we needed and was nice and cozy. Proximity to hot tubs is great. Parking is easy. Check in process is mildly cumbersome (in that you have to get keys to the property at another location), but I understand it’s the best way to do it for the rental agency so all good. Communication from property manager was great. Overall strong recommend!

Staying in the village was a great decision. 3-5 minute walk to the gondola. So we skied in the morning, had a long lunch back at the condo and skied again in the afternoon. Plenty of restaurants and shops in the village. We played pool and hit the hot tub every day. Once the condo got a little too warm so we cracked a window for bit and it cooled down just fine. Walls are a little thin but not a big deal. For the location and amenities you can’t beat it. We will come back here again.

Unfortunately, my review is not 5 stars due to the conditions of the condo my party arrived to. Apon arrival we noticed the condo was really cold and attempted to turn on the heat which ended up not working. We also noticed that there was no hot water available in order to shower after a day of traveling. I contact the property manager the following morning to make them aware of the issues. The hot water was fixed that afternoon but I'm not sure if the heat was. We were told the heat was fixed as well but our condo stayed the same cold temp until our departure. Not a great first impression but I will consider staying here again.

Great summer rental

Unit was clean and any issues, like a clogged bathroom drain, were addressed quickly.We were under the impression that unit had air conditioning. Our mistake. While the building has AC the individual units do not. Not a big deal as the evenings were cool.But, the air conditioning compressors were just outside our windows and were very loud. We could not sleep with the windows open. Also, the elevator bank coming up from the indoor parking garage never worked. Minor inconvenience to unload everything (luggage, groceries) on the ground floor, then park the car and walk up one level.Otherwise, a good option. We spent a lot of time hiking around A Basin and it was very close. We would, however, look for another condo other than Buffalo (elevator) and look for one where the AC compressor is not right outside the window.

Great location but that was about it

The check in time of 4:30 is later than any other rental I’ve used, and we came up early for the wine and jazz festival so then had to drive back into town after the festival to use the lockbox to pick up our room keys. Not sure why this lockbox could not be placed inside the actual lodge somewhere instead to make it much more convenient. The bedroom has a large wooden bed frame that should be taken out because it takes up literally all of the room in there so not even a spot to set a little suitcase anywhere. The listing stated the condo came with air conditioning so when we checked in we spent over 30 minutes trying to find it until I finally just text the property manager. They promptly replied that the listing had a typo and does not in fact have AC. Which is fine, I get it lots of mountain places don’t have them, but seemed like false advertising for sure. Also, the elevators were broken, which I was notified of 3 weeks before checkin but I’m not sure why it couldn’t be fixed within that amount of time. They did offer assistance for luggage if we called their property manager, which we did, and upon checkin just had to wait a little while which is understandable. When trying to check out we waited over 20 minutes and they never came so in order to meet the strict check out time of 10 we had to carry our stuff down. With all that being said, the location of the condo in town is amazing.

Disappointed the gondola wasn’t running but certainly understand why. Secure underground parking was a bonus but the lighting was poor considering all the posts to avoid. Great and convenient condo!

My husband and I stayed 5 nights and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Very convenient to all the Keystone Mountain amenities. Two hot tubs in the building and more and a heated pool at the building next door. Great ski lockers at the lobby area made getting out on the mountain easy. We will definitely stay here again.

Disappointed in Buffalo Lodge

Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The three elevators were Out of Service for all 4 days we were there. The elevator from the parking to the 1st floor, and the 2 elevators from the 1st floor up. We were on the 4th floor and it was incredibly inconvenient to haul our gear and luggage up those stairs. The 1st floor ski lockers were helpful. We are looking to you for a rebate of a portion of our fees.

We are also in the resort and have the longest business hours of any management company.

VACATION RENTALS VS. HOTELS
Booking a vacation rental is like staying at the house of a friend. In this vacation rental you will experience significantly more space, privacy, or comforts that feel like home, including a kitchen and a location that is beyond what most hotels can offer. All this at a significantly lower cost than a hotel with comparable features. These benefits bring different considerations than a hotel. More privacy means that most guests do not want daily housekeeping. We offer a check-out clean and, for an added fee, mid-stay cleans. We also offer a starter supply of some consumables, including coffee, paper towels, toilet paper and more, but these items are not restocked during a stay. A kitchen allows you to make home-cooked meals. Guests will likely visit the store to purchase groceries. Self-sufficiency is key to a happy stay in a vacation rental. We do provide housekeeping and 24/7 maintenance, but this is primarily for properties in between stays. Our staff services vacation rentals across several square miles, unlike a hotel that manages a single building. We have to strike a balance between cost and service, and have found that our current system has struck this balance. Our hope is that our guests understand the difference between booking a hotel and a vacation rental. Together we can provide affordable vacation rentals and happy stays for everyone!
