Terrible experience.I don’t give 1-star reviews lightly. The apartment itself was fine, but the misleading listing and hostile property manager ruined our stay! LISTING CLAIM: Parking availableTRUTH: Parking isn’t guaranteed. Only a few spots for the whole building, all taken when we arrived. The nearest free lot was a 10-minute walk.LISTING CLAIM: Air conditioningTRUTH: One hidden wall unit barely cooled the living room, not the bedrooms or the rest of the apt. With street noise, loud music until 12:00 am, and mosquitoes, we had to choose between stifling heat or open windows with constant noise and bugs. When we arrived, the AC didn’t work at all because the intake was blocked. A technician fixed it the next day, but it was a miserable start. The balcony also had a planter full of cigarette butts. We later woke up to liquid flooding the kitchen—eventually traced to a leaking jug under the sink. The manager still blamed us. What made this intolerable was the property manager. Before arrival, messages about our payment went unanswered. On arrival: unmade beds, broken AC, and in a heatwave, the response was not concern but: pay now or get out. When VRBO finally connected us by phone about the AC, the manager screamed at us for 10 minutes, threatened to call the police, and refused to discuss the issue. I recorded the abuse and filed a complaint; VRBO offered 100.All we wanted: honest advertising, parking, working AC, and a manager who doesn't scream at guests.
