Diese Hütte befindet sich in günstiger Lage, nur wenige Minuten von der Innenstadt von Ellijay und dem Apple Festival entfernt. Es ist eine Kabine mit 4 oder mehr Schlafzimmern und 3 ½ Badezimmern im Wald, nur wenige Schritte von einem wunderschönen Fluss entfernt, der auf dem gesamten Grundstück und im ganzen Haus zu hören ist. Indianer gediehen einst in dieser Gegend und betrachteten die Flüsse als heilig.

Das Master-on-Main verfügt über eine brandneue Pillow-Top-Kingsize-Matratze, eine Sitzecke mit Flachbildfernseher und ein großes Badezimmer mit separater Dusche und Whirlpool für zwei Personen. Es öffnet sich sowohl zur vorderen Steinterrasse als auch zum hinteren Deck mit Blick auf den Fluss durch französische Türen. Der Whirlpool ist nur wenige Schritte entfernt.

Ein zweites Schlafzimmer auf der unteren Ebene verfügt über ein Queensize-Bett mit einer hochwertigen Sealy Pillow-Top-Matratze aus Bio-Baumwolle. Es gibt einen tollen Blick auf den Fluss und dieses Zimmer hat eine eigene Terrasse. Das komplette Badezimmer mit Dusch- / Badewannenkombination befindet sich nebenan.

Im Obergeschoss befindet sich ein hübsches Loft mit Blick auf das Esszimmer und den Kamin. Es gibt eine Computerecke mit Schreibtisch und einen Queen-Size-Futon, der sich für ein oder zwei Personen ausklappen lässt. Perfekt, um ein Buch zu lesen oder ein Nickerchen zu machen.

Ein drittes Schlafzimmer im Obergeschoss mit Blick auf den Fluss verfügt über ein brandneues Queensize-Bett. Die private Außenterrasse, die durch Glasschiebetüren zugänglich ist, ist ein großartiger Ort, um den Morgenkaffee zu genießen. Das Badezimmer mit Dusche befindet sich nebenan.

Das vierte Schlafzimmer ist eine sehr große Suite mit einem privaten WC und einer separaten Terrasse mit Blick auf die Vorderseite des Grundstücks. Es gibt drei große Etagenbetten sowie zwei zusätzliche Einzelbetten mit jeweils ausziehbaren Ausziehbetten. Es gibt auch eine Sitzecke. Dieses Zimmer bietet Platz für 7-10 Personen. Tolles Zimmer für alle Kinder!

Alle Bettwäsche und Handtücher sind brandneu, sauber und hellweiß.

Die Küche verfügt über Edelstahlgeräte, darunter einen brandneuen Samsung-Kühlschrank aus Edelstahl, einen Gasherd mit vier Decken, einen Doppelofen und einen Geschirrspüler. Es gibt eine Mikrowelle, eine brandneue Keurig-Kaffeemaschine, eine Cuisinart-Kaffeemaschine mit Kaffeekanne, einen Toaster, eine Bratpfanne und viele andere Geräte. Die Küche wurde kürzlich mit Granit-Arbeitsplatten mit einer Bar umgebaut, die Platz für bis zu 6 Personen auf Barhockern bietet.

Es gibt einen Esstisch für mehr als 10 Personen im Esszimmer sowie bis zu 6 Personen an der Küchenbar sowie einen zweiten Tisch im Wohnzimmer für 2 bis 4 Personen. Viele Sitzgelegenheiten für alle.

Dieses Haus bietet Platz für große Partys oder Familien. Es wäre perfekt für große Gruppen oder Exerzitien. Es gibt auch viel Platz zum Parken.

Diese Kabine entspricht zwar nicht den ADA-Standards und -Vorschriften für Behinderte, ist jedoch sehr behindertenfreundlich. Die Hauptwohnbereiche sind eine Ebene ohne Treppen. Das ebene Grundstück, obwohl es von Bergen umgeben ist, mit Zugang zum Fluss ohne Treppen. Bitte rufen Sie bei Fragen zu besonderen Bedürfnissen an.

DER FLUSS: Reich an Forellen (Regenbogen ist am weitesten verbreitet). An den Ufern dieses Grundstücks wurden kleine Mundbässe gefangen.

It was a good place for a family reunion and everyone enjoyed themselves.

Amazing Retreat

We had a group of 19 men and we were blown away by having the stream right out the back door, with the decks bar overlooking the water and the firepit along the waters edge! the kitchen had everything and having the bunk room allowed us to house so many! The owner was sooo helpful and provided us with everything we need and always promptly responded when we reached out! We couldn't recommend this place more! 😊❤️

Great vacation for water lovers

We have vacationed in the blue ridge area every summer for the last 14 years but this was our first rental in Ellijay. We loved the cabin and especially the easy access to the river. We spent a lot of time sitting in the water, fishing (didn’t catch much) and tubing. Enjoyed the fire pit at night. Plenty of room for relaxing, eating and sleeping for our large party. Enjoyed shopping downtown and the local wineries. We had friends rent the cabin next door which was perfect.

What an escape....

We had a wonderful time while visiting Ellijjay for a week! The property was just what we needed. We loved fishing, tubing and family firepit time right out back! Ashleigh was a wonderful host and promptly attentive to any need we had or a suggestion on where to go and what to do! We look forward to coming back next year!

Fun, family friendly house

We had a wonderful stay, house was perfect for our family which included 4 kids (ages 1,2,3 and 4). Ashleigh was very sweet and attentive to our needs. The river in the back was the highlight of our trip and offered a lot of options for the kids to use theirs imaginations while the parents sat down and relaxed for a while. Thank you Ashleigh!

Family Gathering

We enjoyed sharing Thanksgiving with our family at the cabin. It was large enough for us to gather safely. Because of covid, we did not visit the winery, or other site seeing attractions in the area. We did enjoy sitting around the fire pit by the river, playing games in front of the fireplace, watching movies and sipping hot drinks on the back porch. Short hikes in the area and the hot tub were also popular. It was a great week and we all appreciated Ashleigh's warm hospitality.

Wonderful

We had a great experience at Mountain Creek lodge. It was exactly as described and pictured and Ashley was very communicative and helpful. We rented the house for my mother’s 80th birthday and had 12 family members ranging from 3 to 86. Every member of the family enjoyed the river and there was plenty of room in the house. We especially loved the huge round griddle grill and used it everyday. Ashley gave us tons of extra information about fun things to do and good fishing locations. The fire pit was terrific and the kayaks were well used. We would definitely stay again.

Fun Family Vacation

We were wanting to visit a remote area in these uncertain times and not have to leave unless we wanted to or needed more supplies. That’s exactly what you get here at Ms. Ashleigh’s place. Private setting, large home, right on the river! Kids would float down a ways on their tubes and walk back to the cabin. Us adults tied our tubes off for hours of lazy sitting in the cool water and warm sunshine! We even experienced some mechanical system issues and Ms. Ashleigh did everything in her power to respond and resolve right away. What a great trip and wonderful family time together!

Labor Day Getaway

Amazing family get together. We were a party of 10 plus some doggies. The location and house setting is beautiful. I have never been at such a well supplied vacation home. From a well stocked kitchen, games, blankets, dog bowls, the fire pit set up etc. So warm and welcoming we felt like we were visiting someones home. Listening to the creek right outside the door was so relaxing. We spent most our time outside fishing, kayaking, playing in the creek and cooking on the grills. Game nights were fun at the large table to seat all of us while others enjoyed the large screen TV. We were able to enjoy local outings to the Farmers Market, Apple Orchard and a Winery. The only thing I would be aware of is the road turns into gravel and can be tricky in a few spots if you have a little car or sports car. Other than that this place is a treasure!

Heaven on Earth!!

As a busy executive this cabin and riverfront provide the perfect playground for getting away. Everything was perfect upon our arrival. The cabin is exactly as the pictures describe. It is a quaint, clean, spacious, and quiet cabin that allows plenty of serenity for large groups of people. The river is literally in the backyard. You don't have to hike up and down steep steps as it is easily accessible for anyone who desires Kayaking, fishing, or floating on tubes - it is your own private playground. After a day of playing on the river or one of the nearby lakes we relaxed at the outdoor fire pit and hot tub. The enormous outdoor grill allowed us to cook for a large group. We also ventured to downtown Ellijay for dinner one night. We would definitely recommend The Roof restaurant, the food, service, and view were amazing. This was the perfect vacation retreat for us. Amazing place for a group

We had 16 people for two friends’ birthday. We played a fun murder mystery, lounged by the river and fire pit, cooked great group meals including on the outside grill, and just layed around the couches on a rainy day. 10/10.

Amazing cabin on Mountaintown Creek. The experience here was second to none! The cabin is huge, yet cozy and inviting. As clean and well-stocked as any cabin we have ever stayed in. The kitchen has anything you need to prepare a meal for two or twenty. The mattresses, pillows and linens were that of a five star hotel. Lots of private space upstairs for the kiddos, such a great floor plan at this cabin. Large dining room table, as well as a stunning live edge bar on the deck, which overlooks the creek. Amazing fire pit next to the water, which was stocked with firewood and log starter! This cabin is situated on a large level lot, making it easy to meander around and enjoy the beautiful setting, play outdoor games etc. We caught a couple of nice trout, had multiple cookouts on the large grill, told stories by the fire, kayaked (rented the ones on site) tubed, enjoyed some fine dining at locally owned restaurants, visited an apple orchard/farmers market and took a short drive to beautiful Carters Lake. We truly made a lot of special memories here. I have to mention the welcome basket. It was absolutely well thought out and prepared especially for our family. The host (Ashley) was very respectful, responsive to our questions and has the southern hospitality that makes a great trip just a little bit better! We will be back soon!

Thanksgiving Week with Family

We had the best time at this cabin! Ashleigh is the greatest owner. She was so helpful and full of knowledge. The cabin was very comfortable for all of us. The kitchen was well equipped. Fire pit was a hit. Watch out for diving beavers at night! You will not be disappointed here. Thanks and we will be back!

Great cabin on the river

Ashleigh was great! So helpful and communicative. We had 6 adults and 9 kids and there was more than enough space for all of us. We spend most of our time by the fire pit and the river, but loved the whole property. The kids loved the hot tub and us guys loved the grill! The beds were comfy, and the kitchen and dining was just big enough to comfortably allow us to have a few nights of dinners in. Definitely recommend!

Neat cabin close to it all!

Beautiful spacious cabin just off the beaten path. Located 7-8 minutes to Ellijay and about 25 to Blue Ridge. Just around the corner is the coolest apple barn! Owner is very responsive and helpful with activities and local happenings. Safe bet for a huge cabin with everything you will need to tap out for a few days!

I purchased this Lodge13 years ago because I visited it and fell in love with the properties.... they are truly unique and magical ! I am an avid fly-fisher and love kayaking..... both are perfect for both!

Additionally, I purchased the Cottage, directly next door to the Lodge, for the same reasons. Stunningly beautiful shelf of the river. Rent both properties and you can float or kayak from one property to the other.

It is directly on the water, it's spacious, it is unique, and it is beautiful in all seasons. It is a very humble and welcoming log cabin but it has all of the modern amenities needed to stay in touch with the rest of the world.

The house footprint is grand-fathered on the water and is only a few feet from the sandy beach into the river. It is very rare to have a handicapped-friendly property on a level lot on a trophy trout stream.

It is an incredibly remote cabin in the woods but only a few minutes from town. Many properties are difficult to reach due to unstable and or long gravel roads or complicated gate passwords. This property has all of the feelings of mountain living but is in the ideal location for traveling to town.

Additionally, the property is surrounded by mountains but it is a very level lot with an easy sandy beach into the water. Older guests and younger guests can easily enjoy getting in the river without scaling steep rocks or flights of steps. Although there is one step to enter the house, the main part of the house is all one level with no steps so it is convenient for travelers who are not mobile. The master ensuite with king bed and one queen guest bedrooms with adjacent bathroom are on the main level.
