It was Nice, but I'm disappointed overall.

I really enjoy the Folly Beach side of HHI, but was frustrated with some things about the property. The overall unit was decorated cute, but I've given the management team some opportunity areas to fix, I hope they do. The unit is on the 3rd floor. The unit is a short walk (.40 to half mile away from the beach), but it's across the road. It was never bad, but you are using the main public beach entrance. Again, not bad, but it can get busy. Folly Beach is pretty awesome though--highly recommend. Fiddler's Cove is a bit dated. The unit is cute and had an awesome pullout couch. They had chairs (we didn't use, but they are there), and beach toys, accessories, etc. The unit has some weird storage for pots and pans, and I hope they upgrade these options, I gave them some suggestions. They were not super communicative quickly as I've had in the past, bc it's run by a property management company, but I've had other companies get back quickly. I also left 2 pretty big items at this property--if you get to use a hair straightener and brush dryer (you're welcome), and this property was going to charge me $25 to just go look for it, that was not even a guarantee find-and then charge for shipping. After that experience, I realized that I am merely "just another person" and not a valued customer. I was willing to pay for shipping, but I will not rent from this company ever again. They did not care about me as a customer and I'm really disappointed.

Third floor Condo

The condo was nice. Very clean and the kitchen was stocked good. Having to go up & down the stairs was not bad at all. The close access to get to the beach was really nice.

Nice and Quiet

Nice unit very well decorated with all the basics included. Quiet community with a pool and hot tub and play areas for toddlers. The buildings are older but still nice. The internet was spotty at best and some beach towels would be a nice touch. The unit is on the smaller side so best for small families or couples.

Nice vacation spot

Fiddlers Cove was a nice complex to stay at as it was quiet and a close walk to the beach. But improvements are needed for the complex...better directions and signage to locate your assigned building, especially in the dark. Better maintenance of the pool and hot tub would also be appreciated. The rental unit itself was good, although the twin beds could be updated to something a little bit more comfortable.

Condo is in a quiet part of Fiddlers Cove and very close to one of the pools and gate for beach access. Condo was equipped with all essentials needed for a week stay, including beach chairs and umbrella. Perfect for a family of 3 or 4. The walk to the beach does cross a road and takes about 15 minutes.

The right place for certain groups

18K was a great spot, as long as you have the right group. There isn't a lot of space, but if you have a small family (4 of us) then you will do fine. The unit is on the 3rd floor and there is no elevator, but if you don't have physical restrictions that is ok. Private gate to the beach is right beside the unit, so you have some of the best access in the facility for the two block walk to the beach. The facility is clean, secure, and well kept being in middle of Hilton Head everything is very accessible. This is a great spot for the price, as long as you are aware of the limitations going in.

Quaint Condo Near the Beach with Temp Controlled Pool(s)

This condo is in a great location in relation to the pool (it is heated) and tennis courts. It is a short walk to the beach, a few restaurants, and even mini golf. The unit was a nice size for our family of four. In terms of property management, Vacasa was responsive to questions and needs while we were there, but a bit difficult to reach or get correct answers prior to our arrival.

Wonderful getaway!

We absolutely loved our time in Hilton Head! The condo was just as described with the perfect amount of amenities. We were looking for something that was walking distance to the beach and the gate access was just outside the building, a very short walk down the road! Even though there were a lot of people in the resort complex for spring break it was a very quiet area. The smaller pool was not far at all and the Folly Field beach was not overcrowded. The resort was very close to things to do in the area like restaurants, shopping, etc. I saw another review where someone mentioned the check in process being weird and I have to agree. You are given the entry code to the condo ahead of time but are still required to go to another location, about 15 minutes away, first to pick up a packet which was useless and a waste of time in my opinion. Other than that things were great and I would highly recommend this condo!

Great condo, check in process could be streamlined.

We were very comfortable in this condo, no issues as it was clean and easily accessible via door code given on day of move in. However the check in process could have been easier. We needed to drive to a different office for vacasa rentals to just pick up an envelope which had nothing in in. We were told that the parking pass would be in there and other ‘important’ info for the rental. However I picked up an empty envelope. The parking pass was just obtained at the housing complex. I wish that I could have just gone to the housing complex and just picked up something there. The extra step was not needed when arriving with my family after a long drive in the middle of the night.

Nice HH condo and location

Worked perfect for our family of 6. Lovely living room, 2 BDRMS, and the boogie board and beach chairs provided definitely came in handy. We rented cruiser bikes and the distance to the beach was a short, fun ride. Beach was beautiful. This condo is on the 3rd floor so be prepared for stairs when hauling up luggage and food.

Fantastic condo, very clean

We had a great stay at 18k! It was super clean and nicely decorated. We biked to three different beaches via the paved path from the condo while we were there. They ranged from 3 blocks to one mile away. It was fun to have access to different options. The condo was comfortable and I would recommend it.

Great Getaway

We had a great vacation at Fiddler’s Cove. The complex is in an awesome location to the beach and the condo was fantastic. Everyone was so friendly! It was so close to great restaurants and activities. Would definitely stay here again!

Perfect Location for a Great Beach Getaway!

We loved our stay at Fiddler’s Cove! The condo had everything we needed to for fun on and off the beach – games, beach chairs, even a boogie board. The well-stocked kitchen was great for cooking in, and the subtle décor was inviting and let you know you finally made it to the coast. Plus the condo is right next to the access entry for the short walk to the beach and close to one of the complex’s pools. Layout was perfect for a small group – family and/or friends – and we appreciated how quiet the complex was at night. Over the years, we’ve stayed at several other complexes in this area of Hilton Head and found this to be the best one so far. Look forward to coming back again!
