This beautiful log cabin, situated on the banks of the Crystal River in a quiet neighborhood between Redstone and Marble, is an amazing `Home Away From Home`! It is ideal for families, fishermen and outdoor enthusiasts with private access fishing in the Gold Medal waters of the Crystal River and so many nearby outdoor activities to explore.

This custom 3 bedroom 2 bath home combines modern with rustic creating an exceptionally handcrafted mountain cabin feel with the wood burning fireplace, exposed beams and logs and open floor plan. With nicely appointed furnishings, decor and modern conveniences, you have all the comforts of home!

The cozy living room is comfortably furnished and features a fireplace with a river rock hearth and a large flat screen TV. The kitchen is fully equipped and the dining area seats 8. Greet the day with incredible peace and tranquility while sipping your morning coffee on the wrap around deck, or riverside, surrounded by beauty and the soothing sounds of the Crystal River.

The primary bedroom and a full bathroom are located on the main level and two comfortable bedrooms and a full bathroom are on the upper level. The primary bedroom is furnished with a king bed, the second guest bedroom has 2 queen beds and there is 1 queen bed in the third bedroom. For additional sleeping accomodations the loft offers a futon and a twin bed.

IMPORTANT TO NOTE

THIS IS A NON SMOKING PROPERTY. The use of tobacco, cannabis or vapor devices is strictly prohibited. Disregarding this Rule may result in a fine.

Travel Protection: We HIGHLY recommend purchasing our trip cancellation insurance as there are NO REFUNDS if canceled within 7 days of arrival, regardless of the reason (including illness, flight delays, weather, road conditions, etc.). Please note that there is a 2 CAR MAXIMUM at this home. Please park in the driveway and do not block the street or neighbor`s driveways at any time.

Due to the proximity of the river to the home, EXTREME CAUTION must be used with young children.

A 4x4 OR ALL WHEEL DRIVE IS REQUIRED in winter months due to a high level of potential snowfall. Chains may be needed in extreme conditions.

Firewood is NOT provided so please bring your own if you plan to use the fireplace.

This home does NOT have air conditioning although there are fans for your comfort. This home stays fairly cool in the summer due to the higher elevation.

Included in the price of your rental is an Administrative Fee for $59. This is required protection insurance provided by Waivo for up to $2500 in accidental damage. The full agreement and list of coverage details can be found in the Additional Rules section on the checkout page.

HOUSE RULES
These rules must be observed on the premises of the Property you have booked. The renter of the Property shall be referred to herein as the “Guest” or “You” and the owner of the Property shall be referred to herein as the “Homeowner”. You, as the Guest, accept and assume full responsibility for ensuring any person permitted at the Property abides by the rules expressed herein. Upon booking, reservation and payment, you agree to abide by the following rules:
A. You are responsible for all occupants of the home and must require that all rules herein, as well as the within the Short Term Rental Agreement, are followed.
B. No one under the age of twenty-five (25) shall qualify to rent this property. You shall not rent or stay at the Property unless there shall be at least one Guest over the age of twenty-five (25) concurrently renting or staying at the Property. All children must be under direct adult supervision at all times.
C. Smoking, vaping and all recreational drug use are NOT permitted in the house or on the Property. A fine will be assessed if these policies are not observed.
D. You must take Garbage/Trash to the curb on the scheduled day(s) of trash removal and not before, as indicated in the Guest Guide located within the Property.
E. Pets are NOT permitted in the house or on the Property unless otherwise stated in the listing. Manager is not authorized to make exceptions to these terms. Not abiding by these terms may result in eviction and forfeiture of amounts paid.
F. You, or any other person on the Property during your stay, may not interfere with the peaceful enjoyment of the neighbors. Quiet hours begin at 10:00 PM - 8:00 AM daily. Quiet hours consist of no music and keeping all audio at a minimum level out of respect for the surrounding residents.
G. You are solely responsible for any other person at the Property. Additional persons, other than the number of guests reserved and booked in the original booking and reservation, may NOT stay overnight at the Property.
H. You will be responsible for any fine and/or violation that is imposed on the Homeowner due to the negligence of any person permitted on the Property by you.
I. You shall abide by all Federal, State and Local laws.
J. You shall notify the local police and Homeowner of any illegal activity that is witnessed in or around the Property.
K. You agree not to use the Property for any unlawful purpose, including but not limited to, the sale, use or possession of illegal drugs on or around the Property.
L. Absolutely no hazardous materials are permitted to be in or around the Property at any time.
M. You may not use or store Kerosene or space heaters at any time in or around the Property.
N. The burning of candles is not permitted within the Property, with the exception of birthday candles.
O. Under no circumstances may a stove, oven or range be used as a source of heat. All appliances are to be used only for their intended purpose.
P. Charcoal and Gas Barbecue grills may not be used inside any structure located on the Property.
Q. You may not bring your own grill (of any type) or fire pit for use on the premises.
R. Tents or other structures may not be erected on the Property.
S. Commercial photography or filming is not permitted on the Property.
T. You shall use ventilating fans at all times when bathing or cooking.
U. All windows and doors must remain closed during inclement weather.
V. You shall notify Manager of any pest control problems.
W. The use of any provided swimming pool or hot tub is at your own risk. You further understand that any interruption of use will not alter or change any of the terms of this Agreement.
X. You may not block the fire escape at any time.
Y. The Homeowner does not permit large gatherings at the Property. A disturbance caused by you or any person permitted on the Property during your stay which results in any police action, complaints from neighbors is considered sufficient cause for immediate termination of this Agreement, immediate eviction and forfeiture of all monies paid as permitted by law.
Z. Housekeeping: There is no daily housekeeping service. While linens and bath towels are included in the unit, daily maid service is not included in the rental rate. We suggest you bring beach towels. No towels or linens shall be taken from the house. A cleaning fee is automatically added and charged to you for each booking and reservation. You must keep the Property, inside and out, clean and sanitary at all times. Even though a cleaning fee is charged, you are expected to leave the Property in a clean, neat and orderly condition. An additional cleaning fee may apply if excessive cleaning or trash removal is required upon your departure.

Mountain Getaway

Surrounded by mountains, the cabin felt remote and private in a small neighborhood between the little towns of Marble and Redstone. Cool mornings gave us an opportunity to enjoy a fire in the beautiful fireplace, and the wonderful sound of the river lulled us to sleep at night. The unique geology of the area and nearby hiking trails were icing on the cake. We enjoyed our stay very much!

Delightful property

The home was very well stocked with spices and plates and cups and cookware. We loved the wrap around porch where we could sit and hear the Crystal River. The seat by the river in the sun was an added delight. Our favorite fall color drive is Kebler Pass - so the location worked well for us. Another favorite is Slow Grovin' Barbq in Marble - 5 or 6 miles away.

Crystal River Cabin

This beautiful log cabin is nestled among trees and backed by the Crystal River. It provides a sense of security and all the modern conveniences while feeling like you are staying "off the beaten path". We enjoyed the comfortable beds and décor. There is plenty of room for two couples to stay and each have a sense of privacy.

Amazing cabin on the river!

We had such a wonderful stay! This cabin has the most idyllic views and is so peaceful. We just loved sitting on the river bank or on the deck listening to the rapids. We stayed here with 11 of our family members (kids and adults) and we felt like we had plenty of space. The cabin has everything you need. Such a special place. We will definitely be back!
