Property itself was great, no complaints about that. Unfortunately the check-in process to get there was extremely difficult, especially with the large number of cars that my party had. Each driver needs to be on a list at the check-in for the entire community and needs to wait in line with registration and license. Some members of our party waited for an hour only to find out they weren’t on the list. I’m not even sure it’s the hosts fault, it’s just something to keep in mind especially for large groups during holidays. Additionally, the driveway in was completely iced over so it was rather hazardous. Once again not sure if this is necessarily the hosts fault, it might be something that’s supposed to be handled at the community level but it was a problem nonetheless. We did end up trying to salt it ourselves but it was heavily iced already at that point so it was tough to crack. Overall the property itself is very nice and cozy with great amenities! And our host Alma did seem to do her best to help out with the check-in issues. I would recommend, just perhaps not for a large party during winter.

The worst day ever

The owner of the property did not allows in the property after 2 hrs waiting trying to replace by leaving us and extra hours to leave the place fallowing day wich i left early on top of that charging me for more guess when they were 6 of us on 3 different cars charging me cleaning fee!! when i left that place clean and i have videos pic of it the only thing was not made was the beds bc i was told dont have to do it i have service dog wich i provide with the paper proof to to them and i will not allow to be over charge knowing i didn't have more people staying over night like she says i did i dont recomend this place at all..the worst experience ever ....i wanted to spend time with my family for my birthday celebrate with harmony and peace nature .the place had things broken damage and stained...i will never go back. (Be aware) ..even tho i can say the people from the community were very nice not there fault.. god bless them 🙏 ❤️ dont rent this place you will reat it yorkie

To celebrate my birthday at Poconos Dream Resort was absolutely fantastic! My guests were very happy and had a wonderful time. Between having a late night cup of coffee to kayaking truly was delightful. Thank you Alma, I’ll come back again :)

Family getaway

We recently spent a week at a beautiful vacation home in the Pocono’s, and it was an unforgettable experience! From the moment we arrived, we felt a sense of tranquility surrounded by nature. The home was perfectly situated, with stunning views of nature and easy access to hiking trails, lakes, and local attractions. We enjoyed morning walks and evening bonfires under the stars. The house was spacious and well-appointed, comfortably accommodating our family of five. The kitchen was fully equipped, making it easy to prepare meals together. We loved the cozy living area, perfect for family game nights. The property had a fantastic outdoor deck, a fire pit, which were perfect for relaxation and family bonding. The kids loved exploring the backyard and playing games. Our hosts were incredibly responsive and provided us with great local recommendations. They made sure we had everything we needed for a smooth stay. Overall, our family getaway in the Pocono vacation home was a perfect blend of adventure and relaxation. We can't wait to return and make more memories! Highly recommend for families looking to escape and enjoy nature.

Perfect place!

Amazing place, it was comfortable, clean, it was very easy to get a hold of host and was able to answer all of my questions in a timely manner. This was a quick getaway with the Fam, but willl definitely be back! Good experience.

Nice place but extremely cold

My family and I chose this place because we were visiting the nearby water park, Kalahari. The host was aware that we would be at a water park all day. After 7 hours of fun and wet heads we came to the house and it was 43 degrees. All thermostats were turned off. There was snow on the ground. I was really worried my children would get sick (ages 4 and 7). It took several hours for the house to heat up. The place was nice and so was the location, but I will not be returning due to the fact that we were that uncomfortably cold for that long after being at a water park all day.

Very clean, nicely decorated home with all the amenities

The home is kept extremely clean. It has all the amenities and is very nicely decorated. It has new air conditioning units which came in handy during the heat wave. The sun room was very handy as a work area while everyone was doing distance learning and telecommuting. It has broadband internet. The owner is highly responsive to questions. The neighbors were nice as well. It was easy to take walks and maintain social distance around the area. The area has pools, basketball and tennis courts and a very nice lake. 15 minutes away is a state park with a lake and hiking trails. Shopping is also convenient.
