Das Schlafzimmer im Erdgeschoss verfügt über ein Kingsize-Pillow-Top-Bett. Das Badezimmer auf dieser Ebene verfügt über eine große Dusche und eine Wäscherei. Ein privates Achterdeck mit Tisch und Sitzgelegenheiten dient im Erdgeschoss.

Die Hauptebene verfügt über eine voll ausgestattete Küche und ein Esszimmer mit fabelhaften großen Fenstern, um die herrliche Aussicht zu genießen, und einen großen Raum mit großem Smart-Internet-TV. Five senior citizen girls, all friends since high school, had an amazing time. Time. The location, will proximity, to our activities was relatively close. Close. The drive back the gravel road was a little bit concerning on our first trip down to the cabin; but this actually turned out to be part of the overall experience! Make sure that you keep your food items well protected because there are critters as the hostess has warned. We had an amazing time sitting on the deck with our coffee and listening to the birds, sitting in the hot tub at night and enjoying our time together and talking about our activities we did together. What an amazing time!

We enjoyed this cabin in the Red River Gorge area. It was easily accessible and close to the hiking trails. The house is well furnished and we enjoyed having the King size bed. The outside spaces are very nice - a porch off the main level with good seating, a table and chairs and a good size hot tub. The view was great! There is a fire pit to use and a charcoal grill. There is another porch off the lower level. It’s definitely comfortable for 4 adults. A good find in RRG!

Great place to stay to relax and enjoy the area

We loved The Roost and it was clean, great options for furniture, sleeping, bathrooms, porches, hot tub, fire pit and a great location for Red River Gorge and National Bridge. We were able to cook meals in the kitchen and eat on the large back deck.

Perfect secluded getaway

The Roost was awesome! We had a wonderful girls' trip. The cabin is secluded and quiet. The deck was awesome to enjoy nature and relax with a cup of coffee. The beds were very comfortable. Amazing area with plenty to do. We will definitely be back!

Slice of heaven on earth

Cabin was very comfortable and quaint. It was well equipped with so many amenities. Felt like a home away from home. Very much appreciated. Fireplaces, hot tub, and jacuzzi tub were all wonderful. Beds and linens were top notch ! Will definitely be returning!

Our whole family developed hot tub rash - a bacterial infection from a poorly maintained hot tub.

We did enjoy our stay at the cabin. It was cute, cozy, and clean. The pool table was fun and we enjoyed soaking in the hot tub every evening after our long hikes. Sadly, though, we all eventually developed 'hot tub rash' and are now on antibiotics.

Perfect cabin getaway!

Love this cabin. It was perfect for our Red River Gorge winter weekend. Evening was just as described in the listing. There were other cabins above and below us but we never heard a sound from either. It was so peaceful. I would definitely stay here again. The cabin was just a few minutes from RRG and Natural Bridge

Great cabin

Very nice spot. Cabin has everything you need. No issues with the road (we had a 2wd). The only thing that that could be improved is the amount of drinking water left in the property. We ran out on the last day. Not a huge deal as we had our own backup. Would stay here again for sure.

Great cabin at RRG

Property was just what we expected. Looking for a place to cool down after day hikes, relax, and sleep well. It accomplished all of those. Beds were comfortable, plenty of space for a family of 4, deck and hot tub were great. Floors do squeak, so if you’re in the lower bedrooms you may be woken up by an early riser. All in all a great stay and recommend. Directions to the cabin were easy, just stick to the gravel drive and use a low gear.

Perfect cozy spot

My family of 5 stayed here for a long weekend and it wasn’t long enough! So cozy, convenient, and just what we needed. The location to hiking locations in RRG was ideal while still being remote and removed enough from other people. The entire stay was worth every penny, our kids loved the hot tub, playing pool, and getting so much use out of the checkers board on the coffee table. The only thing I’d be cautious of is what kind of vehicle you drive, because the road to the cabin is all gravel and has some steep parts. Our van made it just fine but I could see smaller cars having an issue. All in all it was a wonderful stay and we will definitely be back!

Nice property

Everything about the cabin was as advertised, very pleasant. The road to the property and property drive-way itself was the biggest issue. Unpaved, rutty, basically one-lane, very steep in places, and overall not very pleasant to travel on. We left in the morning to hike and didn’t return until we were finished for the day to limit our number of trips. Would not advise without 4-wheel drive. Luckily we were there when it hadn’t rained very much and didn’t have to deal with mud.

Nice cabin with everything you need

Cabin was clean for the most part. My issue is the furniture needs updated. Holes in the leather sofa, other " couch" loveseat thing is not comfortable. Beds also were not the best. Hot tub was very nice and clean, back porch very inviting as we spent a lot of time there. This cabin is not easy to get to, but privacy is worth it. There is no longer a jacuzzi tub in the upstairs bathroom. Probably should remove that from the photos. Kitchen is well stocked. Biggest downfall of the whole cabin, you can hear everything through the walls and floorboards. And I mean EVERYTHING. Very noisy from the basement

Thanks for choosing to stay with us. Sorry you had some issues with the condition of the couch, bed and the non-sound-proof-ness of the floors and walls. We are pleased to hear that the deck, view and hot tub were a plus.
