Absolutely amazing...

Just wanted someplace calm and quiet to unwind for a couple of days, and this place more than fit the bill!! Quiet, easy to get to, exquisite property -- beautiful, SO CLEAN, comfortable, I didn't want to leave!! I will DEFINITELY be returning... This place is a FIND!!

Nice cabin in the woods!

This place is very quiet and restful! If you just want to stay in and decompress it’s the place to go. There are nature hikes and crickets in the evening. Rental was clean and well kept! Owner was attentive and communicated info as was needed. I would highly recommend this as a getaway to unwind.

Birthday Weekend Escape

Our oldest daughter was turning 13 and wanted to go hiking over the weekend. The house was exactly like the pictures and the location was perfect for a couple hiking trails. Cathy was very helpful from the initial checking through the checkout. She even included guides of places to eat as reception is spotty up there and the towns are small. Thank you again for a perfect birthday weekend stay.

Great Mountain Getaway

My family of 4 booked this cabin for a last minute weekend getaway so our kids could play in the snow at Pine Mountain, which is only a 2 hour drive from our home instead of a 5 hour drive to get to spots in the Sierra's. The owner was very responsive with information and answering questions during the booking process. The cabin looks brand new and was spotless, definitely not an old run down mountain cabin. There's no AT&T service in Pine Mountain, but the Wi-FI was fast and worked great so we were still connected. The kitchen had everything we needed. There are two bedrooms and a bathroom downstairs and the master is upstairs. One bedroom had 2 twin beds and the other and the master had either a king or queen bed. The master had its own large bathroom with a whirlpool tub. The cabin sits on a large lot that provided plenty of area for our kids to play in the snow. It was great that the kids could just walk outside to play instead of driving back and forth to a crowded snow play area. A part of the yard was sloped just enough for our 5 year old to do some sledding. The large raised and covered deck was a great spot to watch them play from and take off wet shoes and jackets before heading in the house to warm up. Because everything was covered in snow we didn't venture far from the cabin, but it looks like there are great hiking spots nearby, so this could be a good summer spot as well.

Quick get away

Property was very clean and well maintained, notes posted around house were clear and helpful. Would definitely recommend to friends and family. We will rebook, hopefully more snow next time.

Quick Escape

We went for a very short get away for some extra space and mountain air. Beautiful home in a wonderful small mountain village. If you plan on cooking make sure you check and see if they have what you require to cook, ( grill is unfunctional, no measuring spoons or cups) but just ask! Owner is very communicative and would gladly tell you what they do and do not have. We very much enjoyed our stay and would return.

Disappointed

This places pic look very good when i was reserving it. They were very nice when dealing with all the reservation What they dont tell you after getting to the property was the 2 pages of rules and post_its notes all over the property of what you can and cant do. they also dont tell you they dont have any trash servise so you have to take your own trash to the city dump witch there is no map or anything telling you how to get there i get a text my last day saying o yeah you need to take your trash cause theres no trash service put it in your own car with random bags they have colleted over time not like a real trash bags or a trash can just like figure it out on your own or extra charge for leaving it witch they text me like 4 times to make sure i was not leaving anything just lazy on there part. Like renting your place out you have to expect to have to take care of your guests. They shouldn't have to do those kinda of things. if people are paying your months mortgage in 3 days put in a little effort. There very nice bbq grill is garbage grease all over it. the igniter would not work theres no lighter on property to start it they only have two pans that are completely burnt and warped to cook food in. totally feel like there cameras on the property were watching you the whole stay the water pressure in the house was like non existent you flush a toilet and then showers would slow to a trickle. The inside of there house was missing all the can light trim leaveing the place looking unfinished no laundry or dryer no iron whitch i was there for a wedding and endend up having to go to town thats like an hr away to buy new clothes. Cause i didnt have any resources to get my dress shirt and Pants wrinkle free from traveling. I would not stay here a again not a very good experience

Spacious getaway experience

My stay at this exquisite, secluded modern cabin was the perfect getaway for me and my 5 friends. The service and communication with the host, Cathy was A1 with little to worry about and a plentiful amount of amenities. The location attracts some picturesque views and the BBQ adds the option for bigger meals. I'm very glad I found this property and I highly recommend it for any sort of occasion.
