Wir verliebten uns in den Blick auf die Berge und das Gefühl von offenem Raum in diesem Haus mit vier Schlafzimmern und drei Bädern.

Ein großes, sonnendurchflutetes Wohn- / Esszimmer mit Kieferngewölbedecken und raumhohen Fenstern begrüßt Sie beim Betreten des Hauses und signalisiert Ihnen, dass der Urlaub begonnen hat! Das 2500 Quadratmeter große, dreistöckige Haus bietet Privatsphäre und viel Platz zum Entspannen mit Familie und Freunden.

Sehen Sie die herrlichen Berge / Wälder durch die Fenster / Glasschiebetüren oder genießen Sie die herrliche Aussicht von einem der Decks.

Abends können Sie sich im großen Familienzimmer auf der großen Sofagarnitur am gemauerten Kamin im Erdgeschoss erholen oder ein paar Klänge auf dem Klavier spielen.

In der obersten Etage befindet sich das Hauptschlafzimmer mit einem Kingsize-Bett. ein komplettes Badezimmer und eine private Terrasse Das Erdgeschoss mit Küche / Wohnzimmer verfügt über zwei Schlafzimmer - ein Queen-Bett, eines mit zwei Einzelbetten und ein zweites Badezimmer. Die untere Etage ist wie eine private Wohnung - ein Schlafzimmer mit Kingsize-Bett, ein komplettes Badezimmer und der Familienraum / Kamin mit Schiebetüren, die in den großzügigen Hinterhof führen. Eine zusätzliche Ausziehcouch im oberen Lesebereich und ein weiteres verstellbares Einzelbett bieten Platz für zwei weitere Personen.

Der Pine Mountain Club ist nur 1,5 Stunden von Los Angeles entfernt ein verstecktes Juwel. Die Berge und Wälder bieten kilometerlange Wander- und Langlaufloipen. Der exklusive Club bietet einen herrlichen 9-Loch-Golfplatz, Reitmöglichkeiten, Tennis und Schwimmen im Sommer - ein Bistro und einen Aufenthaltsraum mit Billardtisch. Airhockey, Tischtennis und Videospiele für die Kinder. Awesome cabin with great views

Great cabin - roomy, comfortable, clean and perfect for family gatherings. Great views and quiet location. The owner was very friendly, checking in with us as we arrived to see that we'd settled in and had everything we needed. Really enjoyed everything!

Great family getaway!

We stayed at Julie's place with two other families and had an awesome time. The cabin was spacious, well equipped, and very kid friendly. We enjoyed the beautiful views and also love escaping the city in Pine Mountain Club. Thanks for having us!

Great time in Pine Mountain

This place fit our needs perfectly for a Christmas getaway with in-laws and cousins. Julie provided THE best service and followup and even called the house to make sure we were there safely (it had snowed). Would definitely love to come again!

Great space for a big group and snow

This was a great place for three families together. The downstairs is like a whole separate living situation, but in the morning you hear everybody moving around upstairs so make sure the family who wakes up first gets the downstairs. Great Family Vacation Rental!

My wife and I along with her extended family enjoyed a wonderful summer vacation at this fantastic cabin. It is extremely spacious with wonderful views from the balcony area. The cabin was able to accommodate a total of 10 of us. The kitchen was well stocked and had ample room for several people to prepare the meals. We definitely enjoyed our experience and hope to be back soon!

Relaxing and welcoming!

We had the most enjoyable and "decompressing" stay here! The house was perfect for our two families with 5 kids - space for everyone to have their alone time with great common areas for togetherness. The small touches like the light switches being labeled (!!), coffee and popcorn bar in the family room and movies and games made us feel like we were staying with friends instead of in a rental and that helped us all relax into our all too short stay!

Great Views

8 of us spend our winter holidays here, the large deck is fantastic, great for barbeque or to admire the majestic views. Nice house with lots of space, fabulous game room/bar. Great landlords. They even had a decorated and lit Christmas tree ready for us. Kitchen is full of everything you need for cooking and lots of plates. Very clean. We had a great 3 days here.

Great place!

Best view of valley. Plenty of room. Comfortable. Delightful town. Very very helpful owner. She even upped her WiFi service to accommodate several of us having to zoom at the same time. Small detail: there are a lot of minerals in the water that make dishes cloudy after running through dishwasher but they are clean.

Very nice layout for family get-together

We had so much fun with our children and grand children. The kitchen/ dining / and living area was where we spent most of our time. The pellet stove kept the area very cozy. In the evenings we watched movies together and played board games on the lower level. The loft area was a nice set up for one family. Thanks so much Julie for checking with us and making sure everything was working properly. We hope to return.

I emailed to let you know I could not leave you a good review because your guests had a drunken argument late at night outside my home, disturbing the neighbors . I know it was new years but there are strict rules about no loud noise after ten pm in pine mountain club. You then turned around and left this review. I will certainly let the cleaners know you were not happy with their work. It was a same day turn around between Xmas and new years so I’m sorry if they were not able to clean as thoroughly as they usually do. No one has ever mentioned the door locks on the bathroom doors. We are happy to add additional latch locks. That’s a good idea.

Dogs not welcome in community

While about up to expectations house wise, the idea of dog friendly very overrated. I brought my dogs, who were on deck, and were barking at rabbits, cars and people walking by, it was less than 10 minutes before a lady across the street and way up a hill started shouting about my dogs being to loud. It was about 5 pm. And my dogs do have a deep chest voice. Then the owner called, as all the neighbors texted her about my dogs. They had been in all night and went outside for a few minutes in the morning. She was very nice, however, I picked the property, and paid extra for my dogs. She said their is a $1000.00 fine for dog barking! The next morning cops showed up, crazy guy down the way had videoed us unpacking our truck, my shepherd broke the ring on his seatbelt harness and bounded away, for about 3 minutes to catch him. Again, cops very nice. Had to come up as the Karen had reported loose dogs off leash. So we’ll intentioned or not, not dog friendly.

Our house is definitely pet friendly for Well-Behaved dogs . We love dogs and bring our own dog to the house regularly and have been renting to guests with dogs for over 9 years with no complaints. This was the first time I have ever had multiple neighbors contact me to let me know that this dog was excessively loud and barking all day long and really disturbing their peace. I wasn't there so I can't say how loud it was, but they were very nice about it and just asked that the guest please keep the dog from running along the deck barking so loudly. The guest informed me that this is an unusually large dog with a very loud bark. If I had known ahead of time, I would have suggested they don't rent in PMC as Pine Mountain Club Association rules state "no excessive barking" and that dogs must be kept on leash at all times - this is for the safety of the dogs as well because there are bears, rattlesnakes, and other wildlife. It was the off leash issue, however, that prompted the neighbor to call patrol- we explain that in our paperwork. The neighbors tolerated the barking but didn't appreciate the guest allowing the dogs to stay on the porch outside throughout the day- Patrol generally issues a warning if a PMC rule is in question, but if they are called back, they will fine both the owner and the guests, so we really appreciate you only bringing a dog that you will keep on leash, and whose barking you can control and isn't excessively loud, and that you will clean up afterwards. There is a summary of the PMC rules provided during booking, and the extended rules and fines are in the guest book in our home. This is definitely a peaceful, quiet community, so we ask that people respect our neighbors and our home.

Great House, Great Area

We had a really nice weekend at this house. Terrific host, great view, comfy beds, lots of rooms and deck options for hanging out. The kids liked the clubhouse, the pool is great & we used the host’s three sets of golf clubs. Also took a fun hike. We recommend both the house and the area for a summer weekend!

Just Perfect for Us

The house was just perfect for our family vacation. A great view (one of the best at Pine Mountain Club) and a quiet neighborhood. The kitchen was well stocked with pots and pans for cooking meals. Having breakfast on the outdoor deck was an inspirational start to each day. Took charming short hikes to the waterfall and through the Enchanted Forest. Close to Los Angeles but felt far enough away. Julie (the owner) checked in with us at the beginning and end of our trip to answer any questions we might have--a great VRBO host! Loved that during July the temperature outside and inside was not too hot and not too cold. We hope to return again!

Perfect Retreat

We were overjoyed with the stay. It is so charming and serene. The views are spectacular. We were two couples and just kicked back, but the place huge and holds so many people. We loved the lower level and the fireplace. Great for board games and hanging out with friends. The community was a gem. There are some great antique and knick-knack stores in the village. Definately going back!

Great fun with the family

We had an amazing time

We wanted to enjoy the snow and our dream came true. Julie is a super host, she answered all our calls and helped us with all our questions. We found snow and we drove up to Mount Pinos where we had a blast sledding. It snowed generously so honestly nobody wanted to leave last day. The cabin is large and very comfortable, we were 4 adults with 4 kids and we had more space we needed. Hope to go back in this cabin very soon and build the snowman we didn't get a chance to do. A very beautiful view of nature

It is a very nice place to stay. The view is very beautiful, serene and peaceful. It's best to go during the Spring or Fall season. We went at the time that was so hot due to the Summer's heat.

We have installed window AC's in all of the bedrooms that need it. There is no central AC but we have ceiling and floor fans and screens on all the windows. We haven't found we need more than that except for a few exceptionally hot days. Evenings on the mountain cool down considerably.

Julie and Mauricio bought this mountain retreat home for their family of four two years ago. We wanted our kids (age 4 and 8) to experience four seasons and grow up playing in the snow in winter. Mauricio is an avid golfer and Julie and the kids love to swim in the pool surrounded by mountain views The kids are budding artists, and love to sketch on the Sunday morning Sierra Club strolls. Back in the city, Julie is a professor of education and Mauricio is a graphic designer/coderf. They wish they could spend more time in Pine Mountain which feels worlds away from the city.

So close to LA and yet so far.. time expands out here so you can spend quality time with family and friends, and experience natural beauty. Close enough to get easily to town and the clubhouse/ppol/rec center/ playground (5 minute drive or a 12 minute walk)

The multilevel house allows for bedrooms on separate floors and two full living room/ gathering spaces. The wrap-around patio views are stunning!
Pine Mountain Club guest passes include access to the golf course, swimming, tennis, hiking, cross-country skiing, mountain-biking and a playground/ baseball field.
There are wonderful events throughout the year -including Wine in the Pines festival, Lilac Festival, an antique Car Show, a Center of the World theater/songwriting festival, Outdoor Shakespeare performances, Concerts on the Golf course and many more.
