Absolutely Amazing Place to Stay!

The apartment was absolutely amazing, well maintained and looked even better in person. Accommodations were modern and beautiful! Kitchen and bathrooms were clean, spacious and well equipped with all essentials. The beds were comfortable. Very nice rooftop pool area with beautiful view of the city. Building is located in the heart of the city close to everything. Our hosts were responsive and helpful. Really enjoyed our stay here.

Area did not feel safe

The area didn't feel safe to walk in. I wouldn't say this is a safe place to stay for a tourist. Maybe if you have a business or are from the area but no one in the vicinity spoke much English and it was not a very walkable area. The host was communicative but rude in my opinion.

All of our reviews are 5 stars except for this review from Alexander. In our documented opinion, he stated fabrications. He checked out early & relocated to Punta Cana. Let's start with the location. First, he stated he thought our apartment was in a tourist area. We're in the city center. A map is on each listing. The map does not show this apartment is in a tourist area. We are down the street from Blue Mall. Blue Mall has high-end luxury brands like Luis Vuitton & Rolex. Typically, luxury brands aren't in bad neighborhoods. The Walkable score for this apartment is 93 out of 100. The Walkable score for the street behind this apartment is 96 out of 100. So this means that a car isn't needed for dining, drinking, groceries, shopping, errands, parks, schools, culture, & entertainment. We've been fortunate to host celebrities in fashion, entertainment, sports, & politicians. These types are known to pick good neighborhoods. Regarding no one speaking English, this is a first-world ideology where the tourist expectation is everyone should speak English just because they speak English. English is not the country's primary language. The national language of the Dominican Republic is Spanish. When people book with us, the very first message we send is asking them whether or not they speak Spanish. If they don't speak Spanish, we offer to assist them. His rudeness complaint: Before leaving early, he stated he was robbed at night by knifepoint while standing on a street corner away from the building. He didn't file a police report. We attempted several times offering assistance. He refused. We went above & beyond assisting him. We told him our family are police & they will help quickly. He refused. Further investigation on our end (via the lock reports) documents he did not leave the apartment after 5:54 PM. It's daylight at this time. We spoke with building security. They looked at camera footage & didn't find Alexander leaving at night. Note. He still had his phone after this "robbery" occurred. We asked him for clarification on the dates, he became combative & defensive.The allegation of robbery is severe. This is a good neighborhood. We wanted to get to the bottom of it. Then Alexander threatened to leave us a bad review & then stopped responding. We believe he didn't mention this because it's fictitious. Future guests: look at our reviews on all of our properties & make your decision. Hosts: we would never host Alexander again nor recommend.

Best home away from home ever

My stay of 2 weeks had everything that I thought I wanted available. Service from them was STELLAR!!! They go above an beyond.I never meet them, but felt a family vibe from them. I will be back💜

Amazing

All I can say is WOW , this place was amazing, the photos do not do this place justice, this is a must see for yourself. Very clean, and inviting. The rooftop you must go and see, wow just beautiful. I loved everything about my stay and our host was amazing, they were in touch any time I needed them . I will be back. This place is more than a 5 star it’s a 100.

Great Apartment

This apartment is nicely decorated, spacious and well maintained. In addition, the host provided exceptional service and very responsive and accommodating. I definitely would recommend this apartment as the preferred place to stay in Santo Domingo. I have stayed in several proprieties and this is definitely one of the best. I will definitely stay here on my next visit.

Amazing condo, amenities and location

The property is beautiful. Robinson and Bonnetta were very thoughtful about the details. I had everything I needed. Check-in was seamless. Robinson offered to meet me in the lobby upon my arrival. He gave me a tour of the condo, rooftop and gym. The rooftop pool was AMAZING with gorgeous views of the city. The gym was also great. Everything he showed me was exactly as pictured on the site. The area is safe and the building has someone at the front desk day and night. There's a supermarket across the street that you can walk to to pick up food items. The location is central with nearby restaurants. I've booked condos through homeaway in the past and Robinson and Bonnetta have been, by far, the most responsive; they responded very quickly to questions and consistently checked in to make sure I was enjoying my stay. I would highly recommend!!!
