Adorable cottage right on the beach

Had a great mini getaway for my birthday... was so nice to get up and have my coffee listening to the ocean. The pictures weren’t updated so it was a nice surprise to have an enclosed outdoor shower. Loved this little cottage and the beach community. I was with my teens who joined in a watermelon eating contest and loved sitting outside on the porch listening to live music on the beach. Thanks Gretchen and Paul... great way to end the summer!

Lovely getaway to the cape

Gretchens home is a perfect place to getaway to the cape for two adults or small family. Directly on the beach and close to everything good on the cape. We did a whale watch out of Hyannis and it was magical, we saw six whales! The oyster company is amazing! Arnold’s is outstanding too, just plan on waiting to get in! Thanks for a lovely stay on cape cod! Weather was perfect!!

Awesome stay

Great spot and cottage right on beach, we caught some live music last night of summer which was a treat. Cottage has everything you need and quick reply from owners! I’d definitely go back :)

Wonderful stay!

We had a wonderful week on the beach at this cottage! Everything was clean and perfect, and the cottage is just steps from the beach. Gretchen and Paul were wonderful hosts and responded and helped with everything along the way.

Lovely beachfront getaway!

We (family of 4 with 2 elementary aged kids) loved our stay in this little cottage. Our priority was being super close to the beach and this little house delivered. It was so nice being able to walk a few steps back to the house for lunch or to use the bathroom or get a drink, or whatever we needed without having to pack everything up for the day and pay for parking somewhere. Everything was sparkling clean when we arrived. The hosts were very responsive and communicative and addressed any small issues extremely promptly (the umbrella was missing its pole and they dropped off a new one within about an hour - wow!) The private beach is cleaned every morning and it is a beautiful sandy beach. We had it mostly to ourselves, which was awesome, but it was the week after Labor Day and it was cloudy. It was very crowded on Labor Day itself - not sure what it is like during the summer, but there are plenty of other larger beaches a short drive away. The home itself is very charming, it has been renovated and is well cared for. The beds are comfortable and the kitchen had everything we needed. The outdoor space is very pretty with nice ocean views and we had a few meals around the picnic table. The only real negative is that there isn't anywhere for more than 2 people to sit inside around a table. Overall, we absolutely loved it and we would definitely return!

This was a very cute cottage sitting slightly back on the beach. We loved the back porch where we enjoyed morning coffee, the outdoor shower, and picnic table overlooking the water for lunch. Gretchen was very accommodating and quick to reply.

Ideal beach getaway

The house was very clean and basically right on the beach. It was wonderful to be able to spend the day on the beach and be just a 1 minute walk back up to the house to eat lunch. The kitchen was well stocked and the air conditioner did a great job of cooling the house. We had an incredible time at Gretchen and Paul's house and would highly recommend it to anyone!

Fantastic Beach Bungalow

The cottage was a perfect location and set up for my wife and I. The cottage was modern, clean and very comfortable with all necessary amenities. The location was perfect, just steps away from the beach. Perfect size for a couple plus/minus small children.

Family visit

A great property true to its description. Excellent beach views. Beach groomed daily by HOA, family friendly. Air conditioning in the unit very helpful when it was hot. Owner was very responsive and provided excellent instructions/resources for visiting the area.

Beautiful spot right on the beach

We stayed for a long weekend the week after Labor Day. What a beautiful and peaceful spot. The cottage was well equipped and clean! It was great to just sit on the beach and relax while my husband fished! It was close to restaurants and also the ferry to Nantucket or Martha’s Vineyard! We will be back for a longer stay next time!

Love the location!

We loved the beach cottage, great location. If you are a coffee drinker, you should know there is only a K cup coffee maker. I highly recommend the whale watching out of Provincetown. Favorite place to eat was the Chatham fish market. Don't waste your time trying the Sailing Cow across the street, worst service ever.

Cozy cottage close to beach

We rented this cottage for 3 nights on the Cape. It's very clean, close to the beach and perfect for 2 adults. If you had 2-3 small kids with you, it would probably also work, but I wouldn't put more than 2 adults in here. Kitchen has the basics and the back patio has a nice picnic bench and 2 rocking chairs. The house is in a densely populated area, but is close to many ice cream places and casual eateries. Note that the house does not come with linens so plan accordingly.

This property was amazingly beautiful! As good as the pictures are, they still don’t do it justice!

Perfect size for a family of 5. The Reynards thought of everything! Our kids were pleasantly surprised to find boogie boards to use while we were there. There were extra toiletries, sunscreens and window fans. You can sit on the back porch and enjoy the ocean view and you can walk 30 feet and plant yourself right on the beach! The outdoor shower was a wonderful feature and had hot water. This property seemed less than 20 miles from anywhere we wanted to go on the Cape. It’s right in the middle of the action. However, you could also retreat to the private beach or beach house and feel a sense of a much smaller community. Neighbors were friendly and respectful. Our family would love to return! It’s a gem of a find! Makes me want to keep it a secret, but families like us all need an affordable getaway like this! Thank you Reynards! So blessed that you shared this beautiful property with us!

Perfect location for our family of 5!

Our family absolutely adored our stay in this cottage. With 3 boys, the youngest being 1, it was the perfect location. We were able to walk and/ or bike to a few family friendly restaurants and were just a short drive to the Cape Cod rail trail, Mayflower beach and other fun family friendly things. My only regret is that we only booked for one week!

Great location and adorable cottage right on the beach!

The cottage was exactly what we expected and more! It was clean, welcoming, and just steps from the beach. Perfect location with lots of amenities and things to do within a few miles. We will definitely look to book again and can't wait to go back!

Beautiful getaway

My family and I are going to miss this beautiful little house. It is in a wonderful location that allows you to reach many parts of the Cape in a short drive. The house was well kept and was stocked with kitchen supplies, toiletries, blankets, beach chairs, a beach umbrella, and other beach supplies. The area was not overcrowded when we stayed in June, and the neighbors were friendly. The owners were very helpful and accommodating. We loved the porch and the outdoor shower. bunk beds were not that comfortable and the ceilings are open so light and sound tend to travel through the whole house. Those are the only real cons that I can think of, and they are very minor. Overall the property exceeded our expectations and we hope to be back again!

Amazing stay in the Cape

Perfect girlfriend getaway! Gretchen and Paul’s beach cottage was perfect for our long weekend stay in the Cape. First off, the location was perfect for seeing all different parts of the Cape- Provincetown, Dennis, Falmouth, and more. If we didn’t feel like leaving, the beach was just a few steps away. We loved eating breakfast while watching the sea gulls and harbor seals play. The cottage had everything we needed to feel right at home. We are still talking about the comfy beds, couch, and chairs. We appreciated the fully stocked kitchen and bathroom. The beachy decor was so adorable and so fitting for the area. Gretchen was great at responding to our questions about the rental or surrounding area. The people in the Cape area were super friendly and kind! We cannot wait to plan a future trip. Thank you!
