Die Gulf Waves Condo liegt nur einen kurzen Spaziergang vom Strand der Sea Mist Condos entfernt. Diese Einheit im Erdgeschoss ist perfekt für ein Paar oder eine kleine Familie und wurde kürzlich renoviert. Das hell gefärbte Dekor ist sowohl glamourös als auch strandig.

The location was amazing! Ground floor was awesome. Pool looked clean and well maintained. This unit however was no cleaned well in terms of dirty cookware in the cabinets and the shower full of soap scum and mold. The unit had an odor of old cigarette smoke and mothballs. The bed was very comfortable.

Great stay right on the beach

The condo was lovely and clean! The property manager was kind and helpful, and the location was amazing. We had a great weekend and would definitely return!

Location is great!!

We are a family of 4 that the condo fit perfect. Location to the beach was amazing, very short walk maybe 5 min and the access by car was right around the corner. The pool was right out the back door which was also very nice.

Great Location, Cute Condo

We had a good stay at this condo. It was less than a 5 minute walk to the beach with a wooden pathway nearby. My only complaint is the toilet had dirt all over the seat when we got there. I had to wipe it off. But overall, I would stay here again.

The rental was very nice. Living and kitchen good size, clean. Walk to beach was really close, pool was nice, although some more shady areas would be nice. Close to everything - restaurants, beach, entertainment

Amazing stay

An amazing property with a nice pool and just short walk to the beach! The kitchen was great to make breakfast every morning (or any meal you might need at it fully stocked with plates/cups/utensil! We enjoyed the washer and dryer in room to ensure our bathing suits were dry the next morning to to wash clothes before leaving. The management team was great and accommodated us when we were running late to check in. We would certainly stay again.

Gulf Waves Condo did not disappoint!!

I received an email the day before check-in stating that early check-in at 2 PM may be possible all you have to do is contact them to find out if it is ready. I called and it was ready at 2. The property was clean and organized and was very easy to find. Parking is great for both the car and a golf cart. It was easy to get to the beach and to town from the property. Overall it was a 5 star stay and we will be coming back in the future.

Overall, decent stay. My room smelled badly of cigarettes and I did change rooms after some difficulty reaching the property manager. The original room had some issues with cleanliness and the fridge was also leaking. The second room didn’t have a functioning setup for the living room tv. However, for the price overall, neighborhood, friendliness of the other people staying around me and the beach, I enjoyed my stay and would try this place again potentially.

Great Little Get Away

We rented this property for a during the week stay. The only complaint we had is the part of the bathroom where the toilet/tub is located has not been remodeled and you can defiantly tell. The toilet had very low flush pressure and the shower head was not adjustable at all (frozen in place) so for someone who is short with long hair it was a bit of a struggle. Overall though we would stay again!!! Very convenient and the updated kitchen was an awesome touch.

Everything was great but had a few scary circumstances…. Snake at the back door/what appeared to be an urn in the cabinet… a few insects… anyway needless to say, the place is nice and the location was great, just a short walk to the beach. I would go back, just make sure you bless it first.. 😂👀🙏🏻♥️

Accurate listing

I thought the property was pretty clean and very accurate to what was shown in the listing. There were two roaches that were dead in our room and kitchen, and having to keep the ac on 75 was crazy in this Texas heat. It was hot at night and so uncomfortable! I would definitely get that fixed so your guests are comfotable after a long hot day at the beach.

Adorable unit

The ac is not exactly cool. High humidity in the unit. The request of above 75 makes it far from comfortable being that I’m not sure it runs up to par. Otherwise, loved loved and would book again.

We try to be available for our guests during their stays so next time please give us a call to clarify any concerns. Providing a great experience is our top priority. The AC in your condo is a chilled water AC system for the whole building so the thermostat can be lowered. The AC notes are a general request to keep the AC systems from freezing up because some guests do try to lower them too much and leave the doors open etc.. See you next time!

Port A beach condo

Condo was nice, management Melissa is a sweetheart, but for what you pay I’m shocked they don’t supply paper towels, why would you not want someone to clean up? This condo is not right on the beach and you can not see it at all from this condo. It says smoke free but it diffidently smells like someone smoked in it.mattress was very comfortable and pool was great. My suggestion to owner, fresh coat of paint takes smoke smell away and supply paper towels. Then I’ll come back.

We appreciate the compliments as our guest comfort is a priority to us. We are available for our guest 24/7 before during and after their stay. We aim to keep our prices low and provide a list of things we do and do not provide so guest can be prepared. We do not provide paper towels. The condo is near the beach, not on the beach. It's a quick 5-minute walk (estimate). It is ground floor condo, no view. The condo is nonsmoking.

Just ok... boardwalk is close and pool is right out back.

Although the boardwalk was close by and the pool wad right outside our back door, the condo wreaked of cigarette smoke and the ac was at 80° when we checked in. The temperature outside was 100+ and it didn't cool down until the following morning. The pool was never skimmed and had bugs and hair floating in it everyday. The condo itself was ok, but probably wouldn't stay there again. If you're just looking for an overnight and don't mind the cigarette smoke smell, then this is probably a good bargain.

Thank you for taking the time to leave this review. This condo at Sea Mist does have a great location and is very close the boardwalk and of course is an amazing value. All of the condos here are non smoking, however smoking is allowed outside which does include the balconies and walkways.

Very good

More positives than negatives. Location-GREAT, Quietness-GREAT, Washer/Dryer-Huge Plus, updated appliances-Fabulous, Bed-very comfortable. My only dislikes the mold around the vent in the bathroom, the bathtub could use an upgrade, when i moved the portable heater there was dead bugs and spider webs under it, and due to the restrictions of a/c temp in the sumner I would not comsider staying here. The humidity in the summer is so excruciatingly bad...78 degrees I would be very unhappy. I really think if you are going to have that kind of restriction you should let your guests know before booking. Thank goodness we were there in Nov and Dec. We did enjoy out stay. But would NEVER considerate staying any other time of year. Got to have a very good environment all other seasons. Just our personsal preference.

Disappointing

The condo was not very clean when we arrived. There were dirty dishes in the cabinets, the counter and floors did not look like they had been wiped/mopped. There was a leak in the wall somewhere and the house smelled like mildew. The property manager was very responsive and apologetic - offered to send someone by to clean but at that point we had already cleaned. Then when we were cleaning up to leave we found someone else’s underwear and clothing under the bed. Overall, we won’t be returning to a Beachcomber Vacation Rental next time we visit Port A.

Unfortunately, there had been a leak in the condo above that we were unaware of, and we contacted the guests as soon as we were told about it. We always want our guests to have a great experience and are saddened that her stay was not that way. We are a very attentive management company and have addressed the issues with housekeeping.
