Could have been better, could have been worse. We checked in on a Saturday evening, and immediately discovered that the upstairs thermostat wasn't working. It was cold and rainy out, however we could not get the heat to set above 61 degrees on the upper level where most of the bedrooms are. We immediately contacted property management who asked us to replace the batteries, which we did, and that was the last that we ever heard from the local office even though that did not fix the problem - the thermostat never was fixed during our stay. We also discovered that the property is pretty worn out. There was some drywall damage, worn and scuffed furniture, older scuffed kitchen cabinets, etc. Also, the listing says 3 king beds, however there are only 2 king beds and a queen plus the bunk room. All that being said, it was very easy to communicate with the corporate office and they did issue us a partial refund at the end of our stay for the problems with the thermostat which was appreciated. On a positive note, the neighborhood seems nice and safe, it is easy to get to, the house was clean if a little short on amenities (only one hanger in some closets, etc.) and check in and check out were very easy. We did not check out the pool and weren't able to walk to the beach due to really bad weather, so I cannot comment on those amenities. Overall three stars for cleanliness, safety, and ease of check in/check out.
