House is older and in need of repairs but was clean, comfortable, and didn't cause issue. The views are spectacular and you can't beat the price to be right on the beach.

House clean with one exception, cabinet doors felt sticky. Host said they would address. Two bedroom lamps broken, reported to host as well at checkout. Only reason for 4star on cleanliness. Great covered front porch! Loved location. Older home, exterior reflects this. Thought pet fee little high... pet owners.. you may need 3 gates. To black pets from access to the 2 sets of steps you need a 4panel folding gate or retractable gate for 50 to 60" wide. We mounted retractable to sides of beach side steps.We would stay again!

This is an older beach house which was fine since we took our 6 grandchildren, it the is perfectly located and the walk to the beach is very short with a restaurant and store just across the street that was a plus. The only negative I have is the house need A LOT of attention exterior needs repairs and paint; the interior wasn't as bad but one of the bathroom doors wouldn't shut, one of the sliding glass door handle was about to break so we made sure to only use the other. We also did see a couple but only two roaches in the kitchen. But even with all the needed fix up we still had a great time. There is plenty of parking as well.

Location was amazing! Home has a great layout but needs updating. The management company was great and responded right away with more mixing bowls and fixing the garbage disposal

Hideaway May 2026 awful

Peeling paint and wallpaper. Holes in the wall, flaking metal and rust on most surfaces. One packet of dishwasher detergent for 4 days and 7 people. The shower divertor was broken and knobs wouldn't turn off water. They did fix diverter immediately but you had to try to line up knobs and hope it didn't drip as soon as you left. Location was great but for the money not worth it. We have visited Gulf Shores for the last 5 years and this was the worst place we have stayed.

Great location!! If you are looking for a pet friendly on the beach this is your place! Close to everything very clean. No complaints here! Look forward to staying again.

Great Waterfront property

Great location and tons of beds/rooms. Walkable to almost everything. The sun deck was the best part, kept you off the beach and away from people but with a great view.
