Joy in the here and now

Absolutely perfect; the location, the house, the room, the views, the pool, the silence, the trees, and most of all the host Cecile. It all comes together to create an enchanting experience.

We loved it!

We had a great time here. This place is something special. The house is situated above a beautiful bay. We enjoyed the beach in the mornings and evenings. When the day tourists have not yet arrived or have left, it is wonderful there under the pine trees. During the day we enjoyed the pool, relaxed or went on excursions. Cecile was a great and warm-hearted hostess and we felt very comfortable.

Beautiful location wonderful views

Well looked after and well equipped. The beach was within easy walking but it was steep on the way back. The terrace with its spectacular outlook was where we spent most of our time at the property. The pool was magnificent. The cafe at the end of the beach was fine for coffee and ensaimadas. Would recommend getting the bus to the lighthouse. Cecile was a friendly and helpful host.

Beautiful and restful

Allow plenty of time to enjoy the magnificent beach nearby, and the tranquility of the area. We saw falcons and eagles soaring above our patio with a view, and watched the seagulls circle their nearby island. Also worth a trip to see - wild flamingos feeding and nesting in the s’Albufera nature park. This location is very special. And we will always remember the kindness of our host, Mme. Chupin. Truly an unforgettable trip!

Incredible view and villa

My wife and I have just enjoyed a short break here and loved it. The villa has an elevated view out over the formentor bay which was one of the main reasons we booked and the view did not disappoint. There is a total of 3 separate accommodations available all of which are really nice.Cecille the owner and her husband gave us a really warm welcome and gave us privacy but were on hand for any needs. We were the only guests at the villa at the time so enjoyed the stunning large pool with killer view all to ourselves. We also frequented the beach which was a 5 minute stroll through the woods to get to. Very popular beach and great for snorkelling. You need to drive over a mountain pass to reach formentor so stock up well with food and beverages before you arrive.

Is was a trip into a little paradise ! So peaceful and quiet with a spectacular view ! 5 min walk to the beach , a wonderful Terrasse and a little but nice studio with a cosy bed . Everything you need is there . Mrs Chupin is a womderful lady , she helps with everything ! If you want night life , then you ara wrong , it is half an hour to the next town and you have to pass a very windy road . Avoid arriving in darkness , it is not easy to find . We were sad to leave , such a wonderful place with a gentle lady as a friendly host !

I found my ultimate happy place here! Breathtaking!

There are no words how perfect this place! Amazing view in the middle of a wonderful environment, Cala Formentor is just 5 minutes walk! I think the picture not truly show what the people really get in this place. You get a small, but perfectly equipped studio which is separeted from the other parts of the house. In the ground floor you can also use a pool with the possibility of showering. Cecile is a wonderful host, with a huge warm heart, who helped us in everything! That place is a hidden gem, far away from the tourist crowd, laying in the shade of ancient trees. Highly recommend, I I would be happy to come back here at least once again.

Perfect getaway away from the crowds!

The studio apartment is linked to a beautiful villa located in Formentor, where accommodation is rare! We had a studio apartment with two beds, a sofa-bed, small kitchenette, shower and wc. We had our own terrace with table, chairs, BBQ, fabulous panoramic views over the sea. We had access to a shared terrace with a pool elsewhere on the property, also access to laundry facilities. The lovely Formentor beach is down the hill, you can walk to it but it's all up hill coming back! Lots of steps at the property with our apartment but I believe there is anther apartment on the property that doesn't have so many steps/stairs. Plenty of car parking. Our hostess, Mme Chupin, was very welcoming.

Stunning view and very kind host

Our stay in Cecile’s apartment was perfect. Cecile was very friendly and always ready to help. She really made us feel like we are at home at her house. The apartment is simple, but there is everything you need. We spent the nights barbecuing and enjoying the incredible view from our own patio. The pool area is also beautiful and you can spend some really resting hours there. I would strongly recommend to stay at the apartment with a car, there is no supermarket nearby and we enjoyed a couple of day trips by car. Cap Formentor is very close and beautiful for sunrises and sunsets and the market Pollenca is also worth a visit. Thank you Cecile for your hospitality. :)

Erholsame Tage am Meer mit traumhaftem Ausblick

Die Aussicht ist ein Traum

Wir hatten eine wunderbare Woche in unserem Appartment mit einem richtig tollem Poolbereich. Das Appartment ist einfach, aber sauber und mit einer kleinen Küche ausgestattet. Die dazugehöhrende Terrasse ist ein Traum! Anders kann man es nicht sagen.Die Anfahrt über den Berg durch kilometerlange Serpentinen ist etwas anstrengend, aber die Ruhe und Aussicht ist diese Anstrengung in jedem Fall Wert! Die Gastgeberin Cecile ist ein wahrer Schatz. Sie hat sich sehr um unser Wohlbefinden bemüht und ist eine ganz freundliche, tolle Person! Wir konnten früh morgens einchecken und später im Laufe des Tages auschecken. Das war kein Problem! Wir haben unseren Urlaub sehr genossen! Vielen Dank dafür!

Wunderbare Lage

Kleines Apartment mit traumhafter Aussicht von der Terrasse. Die Gastgeberin Cecile war sehr großzügig und erlaubte uns die Benutzung des gesamten Anwesens. Am Abend konnten wir die Ruhe und Einsamkeit sehr geniessen. Tagsüber war teilweise die derzeitige Großbaustelle des Hotels Royal Hideaway zu hören - je nach Windrichtung.

Einzigartige Lage

Die Lage, der Blick von der privaten Terrasse und der Pool sind wirklich besonders. Sehr abgeschieden und kann man sich in dem Villenviertel etwas eingesperrt vorkommen, aber der kurze Weg zu Strand und Meer findet man nicht so oft. Perfekter Ort zum entspannen und die Seele baumeln lassen.

Toller Blick vom Pool, Wohnung klein aber okay

Ein wirklich traumhafter Blick vom Pool und ein absolut schöner kleiner Strand der fußläufig in 5 Minuten durch einen kleinen Pinienwald erreichbar ist - das sind die Highlights dieses Domizils. Cecile ist eine wunderbare Gastgeberin und ganz Grand Dame, es war eine Freude sie und ihren Mann kennen zu lernen. Das Studio in dem wir untergebracht waren, war für unsere Maßstäbe zu klein, leider fielen auch immer mal wieder Strom und Wasser aus oder das Sonnensegel der Terrassenbeschattung beugte sich den Gewalten eines Gewitters, so dass Schatten nur noch teilweise von der Pinie kam, die leider auch einen Großteil der fantastischen Aussicht verdeckte. An den Strand geht man am besten morgens, da ab 10:30 Uhr Ausflugsboote ganze Heerscharen heranfahren und es dann keinen Spaß mehr macht seinen Platz zu verteidigen. Dies scheint aber ein allgemeines Inselproblem zu sein und hat nichts mit der Unterkunft im Speziellen zu tun. Schade ist noch, das beide Lokale in der Bucht nach 19:00 Uhr nicht mehr geöffnet sind und man so zum Essen immer die schmale und kurvenreiche Küstenstrasse nach Port de Pollenca nehmen muß.

Nice appartement in a quiet area and beautiful view over the sea

We stayed for one week in the appartement which is one of three in the villa in formentor. The appartement has everything you need. Formentor is not a place with big night life but this is what we were looking for. Quiet place to relax and the pool area is pretty big to enjoy the sun and for swimming. The beach is a 5 minute walk away. Celine is very helpful so there was nothing we missed during our stay. Thank you Celine for our beautiful stay in formentor and we hope to see you again! Ein wunderschöner Ort zum Entspannen und Geniessen

Wir haben eine wunderschöne Zeit im Studio verbracht. Das Studio ist sauber und zweckmäßig ausgestattet und hat eine private Dachterrasse mit einem fantastischen Ausblick. Der sehr gepflegte schöne Poolbereich lädt zum Verweilen ein, mit seinem ebenfalls wunderschönen Ausblick. Das Wasser des Pools betrug Ende Mai angenehme 24 Grad. Die Hanglage des Anwesens ermöglicht von jeder Wohnung einen Ausblick über die ganze Bucht. Es ist sehr ruhig gelegen, sodass wir hier gut entspannen konnten und schöne Spaziergänge machen konnten. Den berühmt schönsten Strand Mallorcas erreichten wir zu Fuß in acht Minuten. Am Tage sind die Restaurants in verschiedenen Preisklassen am Strand geöffnet. Abends kann man im nahe gelegenen Hotel speisen oder die verschiedenen Grillbereiche nutzen, am Pool den großen Grill oder auf der privaten Dachterrasse. Die Vermieter, die dieses Haus auch selbst bewohnen, sind sehr zuvorkommend, freundlich und hilfsbereit. An unserem ersten Tag stellten wir fest, dass das Ceranfeld in der Küche nicht vollständig funktionierte. Wir waren überrascht, als noch am gleichen Tag das defekte Ceranfeld gegen ein neues ausgetauscht wurde! Wir werden gerne zurückkehren!

A wonderful, quiet place witch a beautiful view

We had a wonderful stay in the bay of formentor. The house lies a bit uphill in a lovely forest. You have a beautiful view over the whole bay. The beach is just a small walk away, where you can also find restaurants. The beach is one of the nicest in Mallorca. The whole place with it´s beautiful nature allows you to relax and be away from the places full of tourists in Mallorca. The next town is Port de Pollensa (15 min drive). There you can find supermarkets and a promenade with nice restaurants. So you definitely need a car. We stayed in the Studio, which is on the top floor and has it´s own roof top terrace, a small barbecue and a small kitchen. There is an aditional pool area with a big barbecue and sitting area, that can be used by everyone in the house. You can lie by the pool and look over the bay onto the sea. Just incredible. Our room was very clean and tidy. Cecile, our host, had thought about everything you might need. She welcomed us with open arms and made us feel home and comfortable. She was there for us, in case we would need anything. She and her husband were so nice and kind and even invited us for a drink one night, which we had on their great balcony. All in all our stay couldn´t have been better. If you are looking for a quiet, beautiful place within the nature, close to one of the best beaches in Mallorca and don´t mind to drive a bit, if you want to see the other parts of Mallorca, this is your perfect fit. Especially if you like hiking, Formentor offers a wide range of beautiful walks.

Traumhaft

Wir haben acht traumhafteTage in Formentor verbracht. Und ja, es ist wirklich so schön wie auf den Bildern. Das voll ausgestattete, familienfreundliche Apartment ist in einer Villa untergebracht und besteht aus Wohnküche, Bad, Schlafzimmer und eigener Terrasse. Es ist so gelegen, dass man viel Privatsphäre hat und die schöne Aussicht aufs Meer und den Garten von seiner eigenen Terrasse genießen kann. Der Pool mit Grillplatz ist nur ein paar Stufen entfernt. Durch ein kleines Wäldchen gelangt man in 10 Minuten an den herrlichen Strand. Unvergesslich wurde unser Aufenthalt durch die beiden herzlichen Gastgeber Cecile und Alfred, die sich liebenswert aber nie aufdringlich um unser Wohl kümmerten. Selbst für unseren Nachwuchs war alles vorbereitet: von Kinderbettchen über Babywanne bis zu Hochsitz, Essgeschirr und Babyhandtüchern. Wir haben den Aufenthalt sehr genossen und können die Unterkunft wärmstens empfehlen. Auch das Studio haben wir uns angesehen. Es ist sehr liebevoll eingerichtet, mit eigener Dachterrasse und hat ebenfalls einen wunderschönen Blick aufs Meer und die Berge.

Ruhe und Erholung mit schönem Ausblick

Wir haben eine erholsame Woche Anfang April im Studio verbracht. Das Studio ist geschmackvoll eingerichtet, mit allem, was nötig ist. Die Aussicht über die Bucht, die man auch hervorragend von der privaten Terrasse oder vom Pool aus genießen kann, ist großartig. Studio/Haus, Garten und Pool sind gepflegt. Die Besitzer sind sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Falls doch etwas fehlen sollte, einfach nachfragen. Die Umgebung ist sehr ruhig, man kann sich gut entspannen. Am Strand ist man zu Fuß in wenigen Minuten. Einkaufsmöglichkeiten in Port de Pollenca, mit dem Auto in wenigen Minuten über eine geschlängelte Straße mit immer wieder fantastischen Ausblicken auf die Küste von Formentor, zu erreichen. Formentor ist eine wunderschöne Halbinsel ohne touristischen Trubel. Viele Rad- und Wandermöglichkeiten. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Petit coin de paradis

Petit coin de paradis, idéal pour se reposer, où bien randonner sportive, au calme au. Vue panoramique sur la baie à 5min à pied de la plage avec une partie ombragée et une mer turquoise. Merci à Cecile, pour son accueil chaleureux et ses bons conseils… une semaine inoubliable.

Excellent pas de côté à Majorque

Studio et terrasse au sein d’une grande villa dans une superbe micro-région de l'île préservée du tourisme de masse. L'hébergement est encore mieux que ce que laisse présager les photos de l'annonce. Cécile est une hôte très investie et soucieuse du bien-être de ses invités. Elle est une ressource inépuisable pour faire profiter de tous les atouts de son île d'adoption.
