Perfect location, lovely space

We loved the location - could get to anywhere in town and on the beach very quickly and easily. The condo was big and comfortable, would definitely stay here again!

Love this condo complex

This is our favorite place to stay on the island. We have rented multiple units in this complex and are always happy with our choice. It has a full kitchen and bedroom with separate living area. Our only complaint on this unit was the bed was really firm and we prefer a more comfortable softer mattress but for a weekend getaway the bed isn't a deal breaker. The leasing company though is by far our all time favorite to work with Melissa was amazing and sent a detailed check in and out list along with a list of items we may want to bring for our trip. Even though we have been to Port Aransas multiple times the list was still a nice and helpful touch... like bringing extra paper towels and trashbags

Great getaway

We celebrated a 50th birthday while we were there. It was the perfect getaway. Melissa was amazing and always responsive. The property was as described and so quiet. Perfect walk to the beach!

Up Date needed

This place was really close to the beach. But the place needs a huge makeover. I fixed the shower head, no big deal. The tub/shower diverter needs replacing along with the tub and toilet. The couch was almost impossible to sit on, way past its prime. I don’t think it would take a ton of money to get that place up to date.

Picture online is deceiving!

The property was not well maintained. The refrigerator had rust and mold on the outside. There was a musty smell coming from the vents. The ceiling looked like it hadn't been cleaned in forever. The knob on the patio door was rusted. All in all I was very disappointed with this property for the price we paid. I took pictures of everything. Totally disappointed.

We are upset about this review. We take lots of pictures so guests can get a great idea of the property. The condo is exactly as pictured. We have a lot of happy, repeat guests in this condo. We are sad that Tabetha did not reach out to use with her displeasure to see if we had other options that may have suited her needs better.

Could be great

Over all the place was good. Great location, easy access to everything in town and just steps the the beach. From previous reviews the stairs were new and had been replaced, the area is nice, clean and well kept. We love Port A and go 1 or 2x a year for the past several years. However I dont know if I would stay here again. It would be really easy to turn this place from ok, to really nice. The bed is old, squeaky and you can feel the springs. The pull out bed on the couch is just how you think it would be really thin and awful. After the first night the kids asked us to fold the bed back up and they would rather just sleep on the couch. The 2nd thing is the shower, if you are over5 ft tall the shower head is too short for you. For me being 6ft, and my husband 6.5 it was rather difficult for us to shower. A new shower head would do wonders. The last and biggest issue i had was the place was just dirty. It needed a good scrubbing. Who ever is doing their housekeeping is not great. Layers of dust on the microwave, baseboards, the walls around the trash can had all sorts of gunk, the inside of the toilet doesn't look like its been cleaned, piles of sand all over the floor in the corners etc. Now the surface of the place was ok, like they wiped the counters and stuff, not gonna lie I washed the sheets before we slept on them. There was old dirty sheets on the pull out couch mattress, and there was dirty laundry in the hamper next to the washer that was there when we arrived. Now we did check in early, but they told us the place was ready. Perhaps we should have given them more time to finish cleaning it. Some of the other reviews talk about how outdated it is, that doesn't bother me heck its about the same appliances and fixtures as my own home, but in this day and age I dont want to be around someone else's filth. Perhaps we caught them on an off day. It happens. The place has lots of potential. Just a few tweaks it would be an awesome vacation place

This is an older complex and the HOA is always working on ways to improve it while keeping it affordable. We know its expensive to vacation in Port Aransas. Thank you for your recommendations and we have replaced the king size mattress since your stay. We welcome you and your family back any time and we do manage several properites in Port A as well.

Great place in wonderful location

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Port A for a spur of the moment vacation getaway! The place was as advertised and more! Location was perfect with short walk to beach or a few blocks if you drive. The washer & dryer in the unit was wonderful! Bed slept great! Communication with host Michelle was great! This was our first stay at this unit, but our second stay with Beachcombers at the Seamist Condos. We can’t wait to book one of their units again next year!

Family Fun

This condo was perfect for our little family get away. Just steps from the beach, and a pool right outside our door. Check in was easy, Melissa was the sweetest Manager, gave us great inflation about the island. Check in and check out was super easy. We had everything we needed for the perfect weekend.
