Whispering Willows Hot Springs ist ca. 4.000 Quadratmeter großes Luxushaus am Chalk Creek in Nathrop, Colorado, am Fuße der Collegiate Peaks Mountains.

Nice getaway

This place is wonderful. Ropmy close enough to town of needed, but of the beaten path. Spacious and beautiful house. The pool is the crown jewel of the property. We'll be back :)

Wonderful property, the beds were comfortable, the deer were friendly, the sounds of Chalk Creek through the windows was perfect. Add the pool and hot spring and it could not have been better.

relaxing lovely pool

the pool was so nice,,, the only issue was the lack of air conditioner... we broiled on the hot days and had to leave until the sun went down then sit outside opening all the windows to cool the house off enough to sleep at night. the house got cold at about 3am/night with all the windows open The house temp was okay until about 3pm when it was too hot to hang out on deck or in the house the weather was hotter then usual in late july

Amazing Getaway Location

My friends and I take an annual retreat vacation, and we stayed at Whispering Willows this year. It was one of the best spots we've experienced yet! The house was scrupulously clean and well-stocked, and we got so much use out of the hot springs pool. We loved staying here, and have put it on our list for sites to revisit.

The pool....It's awesome!

Wonderfully huge house! Loved the furnishings and decorations! And the pool - it is the masterpiece of the property! Plenty of eats within 15 minutes in Buena Vista. The views are incredible! Really enjoyed our stay. Would have stayed for a week of we could have. We're considering coming back again, it was that good!

Peaceful & Relaxing

I really loked everything except for the cameras. I get they want to make sure their house stays good but I really could have gotten out of the pool better without a suit that instantly was ice cold. Naked right into a towel would have been much better, it was so cold! Pool was great!

This property is amazing. It snowed the whole time we were there but it didn’t matter — the pools were unaffected and we had a great time. The owner and the manager were as friendly as could be. We loved it and we’ll be back again and again.

Late September Vacation

We have stayed in many homes over the years visiting the Arkansas River Valley of Colorado. Mainly in the Nathrop area. Just want to take a moment to say we thoroughly enjoyed this place so much we decided 2 out of the 5 days we were staying here, not to leave the house and its beautiful yard, hot springs pool and the awesome hot spring along the creek, please respect this place -you can see the love & care that has gone into this property inside and out. going back for sure

Family get away

Our stay was very nice and relaxing. The size of the house is great for a group. A little warm in the house for July without A/C but the fans helped. Property was beautiful and location was off the beaten path but close enough to activities and restaurants. Would definitely go back!!!

Amazing Vacation Home

Whispering Willows is an outstanding private rental. The home is kept in exceptionally great condition and is perhaps one of the most cleanliness rentals we've booked. This home has all of the amenities throughout the kitchen, bathroom, and living spaces. Communication with the property manager was exceptional, as well as, the check in/out process. The property, itself, is amazing and the pool was exceptionally maintained. We cannot say enough positive comments about this rental. The description and pictures are 100% accurate and honestly doesn't provide justice to the beauty of the space and property. Outstanding vacation rental.

Comfort and family time

This was one of best vacations we have enjoyed in Colorado so far. The house felt like family and we were warmly welcomed by feel of the home when walked in. I was mesmerized by the beautiful landscape and rushing creek. Now I have to purchase a white noise machine so I can go to sleep with that wonderful sound. Every item in this home was lovingly displayed and I especially fell in love with the native american decor throughout the home. The most touching items were Rose's rosary and each door frame was blessed with a crucifix. We relaxed by the beautiful pool each day. I never feel this at home in a hotel no matter how wonderful the hotel may be. We intend to return as much as possible and as budget allows. I have two very tiny suggestions for the owners. As I am only 4ft.10 the upper kitchen cabinets were a bit difficult to reach. I would have loved to have a step stool. My other suggestion would be to consider replacing the carpets in the living room and den with hard flooring such as laminate. Easy maintenance. Would add a bit of elegance. All in all.....I want to thank the Detreman family for the won derful vacation we both dreamed about.

Family house, Our folks bought the land in 1972, lived in campers on the property while building the house. we swam in the pond as it was a hot water pond, until we let the water from the creek flow into the pond so fish could survive. As time went on our parents passed on and now we have made where all can come to enjoy as we have and continue to do.
We come from a family of construction workers and understand what hard work brings so we ask all to show respect and safety.

Next door to the world-renowned Mt. Princeton Hot Springs which is open to the public, this property is PRIVATE! Guests have private access to a 22,000-gallon geothermal heated swimming pool, a natural rock soaking pool, two ponds, and over 300 feet of riverside frontage along with a greenhouse and a spacious 3 bedroom/2 bathroom house with a two living rooms, a dining room and eat-in country kitchen, a game room with a pool table, as well as a sunroom.

Private geothermal pools are rare which makes them unique to this valley. Even though this location is 15-20 minutes from Salida or Buena Vista, Mt. Princeton Hot Springs is right next door and they do have a restaurant/bar as well as a small grocery store and gas station.
