As you host, I am delighted you chosen the home that I manage for your vacation or work stay. Together with my teams our intentions are for you to have a comfortable stay, that is enjoyable and relaxing in a quiet desert neighborhood. I have been part of this community for almost 15 years , I love hiking, and cooking . I am South African in nationality. My origins are east indian. 18 years ago, I emigrated from South Africa to the US. From childhood, I understood the dynamics of a small business, as my mum, uncles and grandparents were successful small business owners, in South Africa. Since moving to the US, I have developed a career in property management. I enjoy my work as I get to meet different cultures and people from all over the world.

The property is located in a rural community of the Mojave Desert on the edge of Joshua Tree National Park. It sits in a charming quiet neighborhood on open vistas of desert landscapes. This quaint cabin embraces the aesthetics of the natural desert. It opens out to desert mountain views, incredible sunrises, and dark starry nights. Enjoy a relaxing nature trail picnic overlooking the desert landscapes. Or perhaps, enjoy a glass of wine while stargazing.Chuck’s Cabin is approximately 1000 sq ft. Built in 1950, it is designed as a mid-century cabin hence all rooms have high open beam ceilings. Furthermore, the décor is in traditional southwest style. The entrance is through the living area, which is a huge open plan room overlooking the kitchen and dining area. The dining area opens out to the back patio with breathtaking scenic views of the Mojave Desert and Joshua Tree Mountains. In one section of the living area there is a queen size day-bed for guests to sleep on. Likewise, guest may find themselves lounging there to watch a movie. The livingroom is furnished with couches, amoire with entertainment components, such as a flat screen TV and sound system. From the living area, to the right there is a small hall-way entrance to the bathroom, and to the left the huge master bedroom with a king bed. This bedroom leads to the outdoor patio. All the rooms have heating and cooling.

This cabin rental accommodates 4 people with a king bed in the master and a queen day-bed in the living area.

The cabin rental rates for Chuck’s Cabin differs according to season, length of stay and number of occupants. Children under 6 stays for free with an accompanying adult. Children between the ages of 6-12 extra $12.00 per child. Thanksgiving holiday requires a two-night minimum stay. During the winter holidays from 12/24/ to 01/02 of each year the rates and required minimum stay will adjust. Total occupants with children for this cabin is 4.
