The condo is beautiful with a spectacular view of the harbor. It was well stocked with most kitchen necessities and also had coffee filters for the drip coffee pot. There were some minor glitches like the power going out for several hours and the parking was confusing at first. Btw the parking rate is currently 35 per day but you can prepay for the week if staying that long. There was a bit of construction work being done in the garage area. I was told the balconies would be affected but was not. But the balcony is small so you can see everything without having to be out there. Management was very accommodating to all of my requests and issues and usually responded in a timely manner. The location is great within walking distance of most things like the beach and shopping.

**“As locals here in Hawai‘i, we absolutely recommend this place! It was such a beautiful stay for our wedding anniversary, and it’s close to everything we love. We could easily walk around the nearby resorts right next to our building—it was gorgeous!The place itself had just the right amount of space for us and was very well kept. Everything was super clean, and the bed was comfortable. The only small issue (which wasn’t really a big deal) was the TVs—they’re a bit old school, so you have to stand to the right side to change the channel, and the one in the bedroom only connects to a laptop or HDMI cable. Just a heads up!Customer service was awesome and answered all our questions right away. If you want a late checkout, it’s 25 per hour up to 3 PM—just let them know.We’d definitely love to come back and stay again in the future. Much Mahalo!”**

Rating Details: The property manager was somewhat unhelpful. The vacation rental was very dirty. I was very happy with the location. I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The Illikai Marins is one of my Favs, besides the fact, I had to call the rental company because the restroom ceiling was full of watermarks and growing mold, their response was they’ll take care of it after my stay. Black mold will not be using this company again however we’ll stay at the marina.

Other than no pool the condo is very nice. Nice view of the boat harbor and evening sunsets. Access to beaches is only a 5 minute walk.

Awesome Stay

Great location and awesome view of the quay and the sea and especially of the sunset. The unit comes with everything that we need for a weeks stay. Would love to stay in this unit again during our next trip to Honolulu to visit our daughter.

Perfect Location; Perfect Vacation!!

This is the BEST location because you can walk from here — on the beach if you want— to the Main Street in Waikiki AND the highway is super close if you want to drive to the west side or north side of the island. We loved it here!!

Amazing place

Loved our stay at the property. It was home away from home. We wish we had booked it longer. Enjoyed the erupting volcano which was 5 mins drive from the property. Also enjoyed morning coffee and afternoon lunch at the patio.Thank you again.

Exceptional- beyond expectations

This apartment exceeded my expectations. It is large, beautiful, in an excellent location to beaches and the Ala Moana shopping mall in a walk away. I loved the yoga at Power yoga Hawaii which was also a walk away. The apartment is clean, quiet, comfortable and has everything you could need for the beach and cooking. A short walk to the beaches also and a cheap Uber ride to the airport.

Amazing view, amazing location, stained but clean bedding

The property was as described, the view was almost perfect. We even saw a rainbow over the harbor while enjoying our breakfast. The property was a bit difficult to find if you have never been to Waikiki. The only disappointment was how terrible the bedding was. The duvet was clean but super stained. We ended up using a spare blanket from the closet but that was very worn. The sheets were so rough and scratchy. The unit is well stocked and was clean. The Lani was amazing. There was some construction noise but it was on the morning we were checking out. The smoking area is located on the same floor so I feel like some of that smoke smell from the hall somewhat drifts. I would definitely recommend, based on the amazing view and the cleanliness of the unit but it would be more pleasant if the bedding were replaced And you didn’t have to smell smoke every time you walked to the door or elevator.
