Perfect as usual!

This was our third time back to this beautiful property. Nothing beats having the river in your backyard and watching that big open sky at night. We saw many shooting stars! We left all our stress behind and came back home super relaxed. We needed this! The heat probably contributed to us seeing less wildlife than usual but we still saw the hummingbirds and a deer crossing the road. Thank you for a wonderful stay.

Review

The property has minimal amenities. The pictures do not include the ladder that has to be traversed to get to the river. There is no Wifi and only one tv. It has a COVID feel to it and is very sparse in toiletries, additional blankets, and even the decorations. House feels empty. The air conditioner did not work very well either. We checked out a day early. Expensive 16 hour stay.

Not bad

The house was very nice. Amenities were lacking (i.e. kitchen supplies). The gate and the refrigerator did not work. Vacasa came out but couldn't fix any of them, though since the other unit was unoccupied they gave us the code to use the fridge there. If we knew in advance that these things were working we'd probably rent again if in the area.

Great house at a great price!

I’ve rented many properties and it basically boils down to how well do I sleep, and can everyone shower in a timely manner. The only reason I didn’t give this house 5 stars is because the mattresses are firm, which is hard for me to sleep on. There were a few basic amenities that I feel should have been there. The showers were great with plenty of hot water and good pressure and with 2 full and 1 half bathroom a house of 6 didn’t have to play bathroom tag which was awesome! I loved the property, it’s beautiful and quiet and we enjoyed a great fire in the fire pit. I would definitely book this house again. We also had a carport to park in with a door that made unloading and loading so much easier!

Clean property, easy access to river

I love this property. It's clean, roomy and comfortable. So here is the good and the bad: The only issue I had was at booking, trying to get timely answers so that I could decide. But I think it's because I booked through VRBO and its a VACASA managed property. When I asked questions through my VRBO app they went unanswered. Once I communicated directly with VACASA I got answers immediately. The management company is professional and everyone I talked to was very friendly. I wish that they offered more necessary products. We had enough towels so each person could have one so we had to wash more often than I wished. It would be nice to have a little more towels. we had one kitchen towel, just enough dish soap for one weekend. But don't let that stop you from booking, just know you may have to bring extra- trash bags, towels, soap (toiletries, dish, washing machine and dish washer), kitchen towels with you. If you don't mind this, then this is an all around great property, lots of room, so beautiful, easy access to river we fished and swam. No internet, that is clearly stated, no surprise from us. But rest assure you get great cell service! We brought our hotspot and that worked out great. I was able to work from the property and always had great reception. Just bring extra essentials and enjoy. We loved this property and enjoyed the outside spaces.

Stress free stay

A few of my family and friends stayed here for the holiday weekend. The rooms are very spacious and beds are comfortable. The dining area/kitchen was a great place to congregate. There is a propane grill that we used to cook burgers and hot dogs. The river right behind the property was shallow but not too far upstream was waist deep and a great place to relax. The dogs absolutely loved roaming around! Would definitely stay here again.

Perfect place to get away...

This home was perfect for what we wanted. A relaxing family weekend where we didn't need to leave the property. Although we did venture out for a day trip to Austin, we would have been perfectly fine staying there the whole time. The property is well kept and showcases all nature has to offer. We enjoyed seeing a momma deer and her fawn cross the river while we were playing in the water. We saw a bunny in the back yard in the morning. We also saw numerous beautiful birds as well. And had smores by the fire pit while seeing the stars on a clear night. We had zero complaints and can't wait to plan another trip back.

we personally did feel aware at night once it got dark that there is no curtains. outside of it, I dogs even feel in love. the pre out doors area, only centered us in grace. we appreciate the home deeply & life long

Beautiful home in a fantastic location

The best stocked house I’ve ever stayed at. The home was better than the pictures. Great floor plan with lots of space. Fenced yard where my fur baby could be let out. Loved the security and privacy. Really wonderful all around. One thing, the stairs to the river were falling apart, they need to be fixed, but we made it work. Definitely will stay again!

AWESOME getaway

We had a weekend we were not expecting at this property! Booked a last minute getaway for our whole family and fur babies this weekend, we ended up spending most of the time along the river, and out in the enclosed patio it was beautiful during the rain and after the rain. Bring some water shoes and a suit or you’ll regret it! All of us piled onto the couch and watched a movie one night and fired up the grill for dinner, also covered while it rained. Thank you for the memories we got to make this weekend!

Perfect, weekend, week, month, year, wait....can I buy this place!!!

Just a beautiful home in a relaxed setting. The updates are wonderful as well as super generous furnishings, games etc. It’s out of town a bit so it’s quiet, with your own access to the river. The yard is huge! We had a blast with our kids playing in it. We always stay in VRBO homes but this was our favorite, and by far the most generous. Thank you! BTW- it’s very secure and private with tons of floor space inside. The pictures are lovely but still don’t do it complete justice.
