It's a beautiful home in a picturesque area with a large pond out the back door. We were disappointed in the uncleanliness of the home and the poor shape of the bikes. We were really looking forward to biking all of these trails and the bikes had flat tires, chain off, no brakes connected, seat won't stay up. For the sum we paid for the rental, there should be nice looking bikes that function properly, rather than Goodwill rejects.

Great Location

4 couples stayed here for 5 days. The location is close to everywhere. Beautiful backyard and views of lake. I would definitely stay again.

Really nice and comfortable cabin!

It was a great stay, everything was so clean and the cabin felt like home, we didn’t have hot water the first night but the team was super nice and communicative they offered a free night for us in compensation of us not having hot water the first night of stay. Definitely planning on coming again in the summer!

Beautiful home in Caldera

This is a very stunning home from the first step inside. A wonderful view of the lake. The layout works well for our two families and a mother in law. As with many rental homes there are small issues to address but I would happily come back again.

Loved the home and location. Very comfortable. Found 5 fantastic golf courses to play that were within easy driving distances. Perfect location for biking and walking. Firepit, patio and hot tub were nice. Deer right next to us while we enjoyed the outdoors. Much brighter and sunnier location than many houses we saw.

My family and I had a wonderful Thanksgiving week at this beautiful home. It was clean, had everything we needed and the property manager was responsive very quickly to one small hiccup in the beginning. I would stay here again and again. You will not be disappointed.

Family Getaway

Overall we had a great experience. The house was very easy to get to and easy to enter. We enjoyed the house as a hole. The children loved the bunk room. And it was nice that they had their own place to hang out. The house was relatively clean. There was hair that was not ours in some of the bathroom areas. And it did not look like the floors were cleaned very well.

Highly recommend

It’s been several years since we’ve arrived at a Sunriver rental home that feels truly large enough for everyone to comfortably spread out and relax. Plenty of bedrooms for our larger crew and the main living space had plenty of seating for all of us. The home is beautiful! Walking pathways around the neighborhood perfect! My only complaint would be lack of supplies and disorganization of kitchen items…not enough bowls, platters, pots and pans for cooking and providing buffet style meals. Several empty cupboards where kitchen could have been more adequately stocked. Overall, an absolutely wonderful experience. Thank you so much!!

Gorgeous Setting

Really enjoyed the location, house, setting. The cleaning could be better, the living room layout should have positioned furniture to accentuate the lake view, not hide it. Sectional is on wrong side of room; it should face lake, instead of when sitting in chair, it obstructs some of the water view - the best feature of the house! It's sad to see such a pretty house with dings, dents, and scratches but I guess that is the life of a rental. Also, at least 1 box of kleenex in house would be nice. Missed not having access to Crosswater, as we have had in past stays at Caldera. From now on, I will check smoke and fire maps before Sunriver stays, 2 of our 4 days we had awful smoke during late night until about 10 AM. Crazy forest service should avoid holiday weekends for their controlled burns.

Great place to spend a relaxing vacation

If you are into nature, enjoy hiking, fishing, and swimming, this destination is a definitely a great choice for a vacation. There where some air-conditioner issue for the first two days (apparently when it was the hottest days during our stay) but the team was responded in an ok time range and local team was able to fix it. Pro: 1. Clean 2. Well equipped kitchen - more than enough utensils, cups, plates, and bowl; various sizes of cooking knifes, pots and pans. Double ovens, microwave, dishwasher, coffee maker, slow cooker, toaster, kettle, baking sheets are available. 3. Each bedroom has own bathrooms 4. Right next at the spring for water activities 5. Easy access to hot tub Cons: 1. Not enough dining chair - The indoor dining table only have 8 chairs so if you have more than 8 people, some of them will need to sit outside the deck area. There is a table and 6 chairs available. Or, some people will need sit at the bar area (3 chairs available) 2. Only one bathroom has bathtub function. All remaining is standing showers 3. Respond time for question is taking a bit longer than our standard since their contact number either via phone or text is to a central hub and they will forward the issue/question to local team and need to wait for respond 4. Very limited amount of activities items, such as bicycles (2 available) and inflatable kayak boat (1 available). Overall, this is a great place to stay. I would commend to others.
