*** Bester Wert und Lage!*** 347 Catalina Ave befindet sich im Herzen von Avalon und nur einen kurzen Spaziergang vom Strand, Restaurants, Geschäften, Lebensmittelgeschäften und vielem mehr entfernt. Dieses Haus ist komfortabel und sehr gepflegt und verfügt über 4 Schlafzimmer und 1,5 Badezimmer.

Die erste Etage verfügt über ein großes Wohnzimmer mit Holzkamin und Flachbildfernseher sowie genügend Sitzgelegenheiten für alle im Haus. Der Essbereich bietet Platz für 6 Personen und eine Schiebetür, die zum Grillbereich führt. Besuchen Sie köstliche Restaurants in der Umgebung oder bereiten Sie in der voll ausgestatteten Küche fantastische Mahlzeiten zu. Es gibt ein komplettes Badezimmer mit Dusche und Badewanne für einfachen Zugang in der ersten Etage.

Im Obergeschoss finden Sie alle vier Schlafzimmer und es gibt eine Treppe auf jeder Seite des Hauses für einen einfachen Zugang. Das erste Schlafzimmer aus dem Wohnzimmer bietet ein Queensize-Bett und ein halbes Badezimmer. Das zweite Schlafzimmer hat ein französisches Bett, einen mittelgroßen Schrank und einen kleinen Fernseher. Das dritte Schlafzimmer verfügt über ein Queensize-Bett und ein bequemes Sofa zum Lesen oder Entspannen zu jeder Tageszeit. It's a modest house. The just one bathroom (and a toilet and sink in one of the bedrooms) was a bit tough for a full house. Otherwise, it was charming and very well located. I'd say for the price, it was OK.

Good Location Good Price

The house was close to the beach. Check in was easy. It’s exactly what was described and we had a great time. We need to check in a little early and check out a little later and they were very accommodating. They were quick to reply to any messengers I sent and seemed very friendly. It was affordable given the location.

Amazing location

The location and overall space in the home was amazing. the 1/2 bathroom was a bit odd, and the furnishings are somewhat dated and worn. We loved being able to walk easily to the boardwalk. We would rent here again, but 1 shower for 8 people would be difficult, so I'd say that only put 8 people here if price is THE most important thing.

Great location!

As with all homes in the area, it is older but was clean and comfortable. Everything worked like it should and with 6 adults and 2 kids, it had enough room for everyone. A short walk to the heart of Avalon, restaurants, tours and 2 minutes walk from Vons grocery store made it a perfect location. No views from this location but you’re going to pay more if you want to stay somewhere that has a view. Note that it has one and a half baths. Very fair value for the location. We were happy with this property.

Perfect for a short weekend with the family

We stayed for 2 nights and we really enjoyed our stay. Property was very clean, a short walk from where all the action is, yet in a quiet part of the town (perhaps a 15' walk from the pier for the ferry). Only minor complaint - the house has radiant heating and it took a while for the house to warm up but otherwise, very comfortable. One of the TV didn't work; and we could not locate a house rules book. Otherwise, will plan on coming back!

A Bit Quirky but Suits Our Needs

This simple property is perfectly located on Catalina Ave, and sleeps 8 comfortably. It is a bit quirky, however, with one of 4 bedrooms having a small 1/2 bath and two middle rooms being connected by a sliding door. The 4th bedroom sits above the laundry and full bath (all 8 of us shared the one shower). This is an old property with sloping floors, low ceilings, tricky hot water, and worn furniture. In addition, the door leading to the narrow passage to the trash cans hits a ceiling light fixture, so be careful when exiting! Still, it suited our family's needs for two nights and allowed us to relax, grill dinner, share a drink on the front stoop, and enjoy the weekend.

Close to everything

Our stay was good with a few minor hiccups that the property management took care of immediately. Staff was kind and very accommodating. Two of the rooms are very small, but the house had just about everything in it you need. Literally the only things I couldn’t find was lids for cooking and a bread pan. Having only one bathroom, not enough fans and no air conditioning was a challenge. As far as location goes, it’s perfect. We walked just about everywhere and had no problem getting around without paying a fortune to rent a golf cart. That would be my only recommendation to the owners/property management would be to include a golf cart in the rental. Had it had the golf cart I’d say the price would be worth it. To me it was overpriced for how dated the property was and how small the space is, along with the other things I mentioned before. None the less we had a great vacation and our experience with the rental company was good.

The house was so DiRTY and old. shower knob was broken - bed broken / toaster broken// all plug ins were lose curling irons would slip out of electrical outlet…. everything old / house smelt like mold stuffy hard to breath. If you are looking for “incredibly out dated old garage sale theme quaint house “for outrageous price this is the spot for you. Should of stayed at 🏨 hotel. Lesson learned. No spa no pool …. Plus is it is good size for big family I suppose to rent. Office staff very nice and friendly replaced broken toaster immediately. Has washer and dryer if you would like to do laundry on vacation. But home owner should be embarrassed by not doing some updates and renovations.

Once we got in it was great

Check in was awful. I received no check in information and after the boat arrived I called host and was on hold over half an hour. She gave me the code. We got the bus for 87 year old parents. And code did not work. So we waited outside the house for another almost hour and the host said oh sorry I had you confused and we finally got in. My very aged parents were exhausted. An hour wait is unacceptable and we checked in way after the time we were promised. TV was broke and there was no coffee. There was a 4 cup pot for 8 people.

We love Catalina!

This was the 4th time we have rented a home in Catalina and we probably will not choose this house again. It is a budget friendly home. Think of a beach house from the 1980s that has not changed. Our biggest surprise is that they did not provide toilet paper (or any other paper products) for our stay. They give you one roll as a "starter" and then you need to get to the store for any more. Typically these homes have toilet paper at the very least. The cleaning crew is marginal. They left a broken wall lamp (still connected to the wall) on the bed. the corners of the floors, the stairs, and the pantry floor and cupboards were really dirty. So much that we felt we needed to wash the kitchen items before we used them. I understand that we chose a "budget" property, we just thought that it would still be more comfortable.

Great location, nicely equipped kitchen, and the four bedrooms upstairs and common spaces were clean and spacious. There is only one shower and it’s located downstairs, and the second toilet is located inside one of the bedrooms, so access wasn’t always perfect for the 7 of us staying there. The tension rod that came with the shower was oddly too short so we had to rig up the shower curtain like Macguyver, ultimately it was fine and because we were there for only two nights it wasn’t worth asking for a repair. The property management office was very responsive and offered early check in and a later check out upon request. A very decent property and we loved being only a short walk away from the shops and restaurants and water but far back enough that the nights were nice and quiet. Thank you for a lovely stay!

Great size and great for entertaining

The house is much more spacious than you realize. The lower level is great and open for entertaining while all four bedrooms are upstairs. The kitchen is nice and open as well. Be aware, the half bath is connected to one bedroom, so the 3 other bedrooms sort of have to share the full bath. House is charming and quaint.

Catalina Jazz Festival Vacation

The house was clean, spacious and very well equipped with everything we needed. Great location, fifteen- minute walk from the Catalina Express, five minutes to Von's grocery store. We even waked from the concert. When we had an issue with the TV and some light bulbs out, I called the office and Mariceo was so very efficient and had a great attitude. Give him a raise, he represented you well.

Wonderful experience in an ideal house

This house was a perfect place to stay in Avalon. Great value for the price, as it was comfortable, clean, and well-equipped. The property management staff were friendly and responsive. When it was possible they made extra accommodations for our timing, and that was really critical for us to enjoy our stay. Many thanks, and I can’t wait to come and stay again!
