Great Getaway

This unit was one of the nicest and cleanest units i have stayed in during my visits to Panama City Beach. It was close to Pier Park which was an added convenience.

Wonderful place to stay but in better weather.

Everything was perfect except the weather, we did felt the hurricane on Saturday morning moving the building and we had to leave early due to that but overall was ok.

LOVED THIS CONDO

We stayed here May 28-31 2020, Loved the condo the decor was great. It was very clean !!!! Lots of room and within walking distance to the city pier and Pier Park !!

Great place for a family

Great location for a family! It was perfect for us. Everything we needed and wanted to do was soooo close, in a circle. You can walk to Pier park. By the pool, they had shaved ice too! We got some everyday!

Great location

This condo is just as described and we would stay again however I will add a pro/cons list to help future travelers. Pros - location Is great walkable to pier park and many restaurants Beach was clean and water beautiful Unit very spacious and extended balcony was great Cons- as another traveler stated the refrigerator NEVER got cold Many basic kitchen items missing. only 1 small frying pan for cooking Not even a can opener in unit. the owners really need to go through and restock the kitchen. The dishwasher bottom rack wheels have fallen off and melted on the heating element so that meant the bottom wash impeller could not rotate and we could not use the bottom rack. The bedroom that faces East does not have room darkening curtains so the sun came up in window very early and made the room very bright and warm that could be a very quick and easy fix. Overall a decent place and we would stay again but hope that owners get this feedback and address a few of these issues

Beautiful!

We loved everything about the property. The view was amazing. The rooms and bathrooms were a nice size and beautifully decorated. Everyone was very nice and helpful when I had questions before check-in. There was a mishap with the AC going out in the building, but they fixed it as soon as they could and made it right with us.

Pool Area

The condo was great. The pool area did not have enough chairs and the staff was not allowing guests to have drinks within 4 feet of the pool. They would also not let kids have toys ( beach ball, diving toys, etc.) They were very annoying when they would come and get on to you like a child. I paid a lot of money to bring my family to this location and due to this I will not be back.

Totally enjoyed this condo. Whoever cleaned it did an excellent job. Everything was clean and well prepared. AC was great, fridge good and cold and so close to Pier park and restaurants. Would recommend again.

Nice place to stay for spring break

The apartment was very nice and the views were fantastic. The location was great with pier park within walking distance and provided nice opportunities for shopping and restaurants. Our young girls had a fantastic time in PCB and they would like to return. Our only disappointment was with panhandle getaways who managed the property. We were promised a daily voucher for food at pier park in the amount of $25 a day. We had planned on our girls using that daily for lunch. Unfortunately, panhandle getaways discontinued the program, but didn't take it off their ads. They said sorry, but we were to go without the 8 days of planned vouchers. We complained to management with zero returned response. We also were told we would get one parking voucher with the stay. Again we had to pay for it. Small issues, but customer service was absent. I recommend the Calypso property, but maybe not with panhandle getaways.

Overall Pleasant Stay

This unit was very well received by my family. It was clean, spacious, and offered everyone their own space. Its location just next to Pier Park was invaluable. Being on the 18th floor really offered gorgeous vies of the Gulf/beach and added luster to my morning coffee sipping. The areas which lowered the overall review are as follows: - The unit lacked some larger pans to pan fry food in. We had to use a very small skillet several times in order to cook all the chicken we would need for some meals. This was tedious, and by having at least a larger pan to accompany the smaller, would have been greatly appreciated. - The positioning of the tv in the queen bedroom was awkward, and the older children sharing this room were unable to enjoy the tv mounted in this position. The TV was mounted on a sidewall, instead of directly in front of the bed, where TV's are typically mounted. - This unit did not come with any beach chair service, which made trekking in the soft sand a nightmare to set up personally owned canopy and chairs. Beach chairs would have been appreciated. - The shower in the master bathroom appeared to be suffering from some mildew at the corners, and could use some bleach to spruce it up and remove the mildew stains. My wife insisted on showering with flip flops on to avoid potential fungus. - The check-in process could have been explained better. I wasted precious time attempting to check-in in person, only to learn my online registration was all that was needed. This unit was equipped with a Kuerig and a standard pot coffee maker. I do wish that was made clear. I brought ground coffee, anticipating only having a standard pot to use. As stated, this unit was a nice condo to set up camp for a week. We would have no issues staying again in the future, but we will also keep looking for other condo's to compare and find our go to unit for years to come.

don't do it...

Let’s see where should, I start, checked in but condo was not clean, The condo is not stock with the basics like a frying pan, garbage disposal was broken and refrigerator would not get cold. elevators don' t work 1/2 the time, walked up 18 flights all week. Staff is clueless and when I contacted the management company by phone, they were rude. Grounds were not maintained. I would not recommend this place gets 0 stars…
