Timber Trails Cabin on large wooded lot in the Lake Naomi Club in the Pocono’s

Due to the limited number of allowed renters per year per the Timber Trails deed restrictions on rentals, there are only a few winter/Spring weekend/week availability!
Starting the summer season of 2024, the Lake Naomi Club has limited the amount of temporary memberships that we are allowed to sponsor for renters to purchase directly from the club. Due to this policy, if you want to rent for the 2024 summer season, (only June and August currently Available), and purchase a Temporary Membership from the Lake Naomi club to use their amenities, we will require a full 2 week minimum rental stay that starts on a Saturday.

Our private Modern Cabin is situated on a secluded wooded lot in Timber Trails that we like to refer to as a luxury private campground (With the benefit of not having to camp in tents), that is located in the Private Gated Timber Trails section of the Platinum premier recreation club of Lake Noami Club in the Pocono Mountains! There are 3 Bedrooms, an open loft, and 2 full bathrooms.

There is a 14 day minimum stay required (Saturday to Saturdays) in 2024 for eligibility to purchase a Temporary Lake Naomi Club Membership. A Temporarily Membership purchase (not included with the house rental and can be purchased directly from the Club), is required to use any of the Lake Naomi Clubs Amenities (Beaches, Pools, Recreation Center, Clubhouse Restaurants, etc). Each rental house in the Lake Naomi Club is only allocated a certain amount of Temporary Memberships that can be purchases per year/Season.

The interior of our Cabin been recently renovated including an open kitchen with a gas oven and stove, updated bathrooms, a gas tankless water heater (just don’t tell the kids they wont run out of hot water in the showers!), and an up-to-the date whole house water filtration system (from the showers, sinks, and ice maker).

The open layout offers a kitchen that sits 3 people on the island or 8 people at the dining room table, a main sitting area with plush comfortable leather chairs and a couch, an open upstairs loft area with a comfy sectional. There are main floor decks that includes a screened-in-portion. There is also Central AC and Heat (Mini splits and floorboard heaters) in every room.

The house is equipped with most everything needed (except your PJ’s and Toothbrushes). For items not included such as fresh linens, moderately priced rentals can be arranged from a local vendor.

We absolutely love dogs and allow friendly (non-destructive) dogs that are 25 lbs and under. Dogs that are over 25lbs, just send a message to discuss to be approved.

*The house is a short drive, walkable and/or an easy bicycle ride for the whole family to hiking /bicycle trails, the private golf course, tennis and Pickle Ball Courts, pools, clubhouses with restaurants (including snack bars), beaches, and the community recreation center. IMPORTANT; Please see the limitations on membership and amenities and the required purchase of a temporary membership.

This area of the Pocono Mountains is also close to the Pocono Raceway, 4 ski mountains (Camelback, Jack Frost, Big Boulder and Montage), horseback-riding, the downtown area of Mt. Pocono, multiple restaurants, Pocono Manor, state game lands for hunting and target ranges (you will need a Pennsylvania gaming license), and even Casino’s (adults need a vacation also).

Our family has been homeowners and vacationing in this community for 3 generations. This particular cabin, was built by our family over 30 years ago for us to use for our families summers, weekends, and skiing getaways. We love it so much, that we just finished a complete interior renovation so that we will keep enjoying the house part-time through out the whole year.

Property features: Brand New Air Conditioning/Heaters in all the house main rooms and bedrooms (however not needed on most breezy nights), HD Cable TV on 3 TV’s, Coffee Maker, Toaster, Deck(s), Dishwasher, indoor Gas Fireplace, Gas Grill, high speed Internet Access, Microwave, and full size Washer/Dryer.

The house is Permitted for Short Term Rentals with Tobyhanna Township. Permit #009088
Please note that due to recently enacted current laws in the Township of Tobyhanna, in order for this home to apply for a short term rental permit from the township, and remain in complete compliance, there are now enhanced strict regulations that must be followed and adhered to by renters or they face stiff fines (up to$3,000 per violation) and/or attorney/court fees. Some of the enhanced rules include, but or not limited to: That the primary renter has to be over the age of twenty five (25), no more than 6 renters can sleep in the house total, and please note that the sleeping loft is not legally considered a bedroom. Additionally, there are regulations on noise levels and times as well as parking in designated driveway parking spots. The Township has a right to enter and inspect the home at any time with or with out notice. There will be a separate agreement provided with the actual Townships short term rental ordinance along with attestations that you have read and agree to follow the Townships laws.
