The property has a fantastic location and an amazing view, but there were two issues for us that negatively impacted our stay: 1-A fireplace is listed as an amenity and prominently featured in the photos (with lots of firewood shown). On arrival however, we found the fireplaces chained shut with a notice that it was "purely decorative" and use "strictly forbidden". The sign seemed to have been there awhile as it was old and stained. The evenings were cold, we had planned on using the fireplace. The host should have updated the listing to remove the fireplace amenity if rules have changed.2-As specified in the listing, we paid an additional fee for linens which would have been fine had the sheets been of decent quality. Instead, the sheet was covered in little pills and very uncomfortable to sleep on. The pillow covers were equally cheap and uncomfortable.Another negative is the low door way to the bathroom and low ceiling in the shower/toilet area. They have built a storage loft over the bathroom that brings the ceiling height down to 6 feet or about 1.8 meters. My husband is tall, but not super tall (6 foot 3 inches or 1.9 meters). He had to crouch avoid hitting his head to use the toilet and literally could not fit under the shower head. Everything else about the place was lovely and matched the pictures. The village is a delight and well worth visiting.
