Mit Whale-Watching, Sonnenuntergängen und schwankenden Palmen dazwischen bietet diese Unterkunft auf der obersten Etage mit einem Schlafzimmer eine der besten Aussichten in South Kihei. Auf der Rückseite des Komplexes, ist es hoch und hat keinen Straßenlärm - nur den Rhythmus der Brandung Abwasch am schönen Kamaole II Beach, direkt vor dem Komplex und einen schnellen Spaziergang auf der üppig gestalteten Laufwerk. Sicher für Kinder und Anfänger Schwimmer, und einer von nur drei Leben bewachten Badestrände in Kihei, wird dieser unberührten Sandstrand von einem Park mit WCs und Duschen gesichert und von felsigen Punkte auf beiden Seiten, wo Schnorchler können mit tropischen Fischen schwimmen gewiegt und Meeresschildkröten.

Spektakuläre westliche Sicht der Einheit umfasst die West Maui Berge, die Inseln Lanai, Kahoolawe und Molokini, und weiter nach Süden auf die Handflächen und Golfplätze von Wailea. Sunset ist das Ereignis des Tages year-around; von den bequemen Drehstühlen am Bistro-Tisch auf der Terrasse genießen Sie einen freien Blick auf die Sonnenuntergang in den Pazifik, aber auch die Klänge der Muschelbläser und das Rauschen der Palmwedel als es Abend wird.

Comfortable beach condo

We had an amazing stay on Maui here! It was comfortable, well equipped, and worked for our family of 3 perfectly. The ocean view from the 6th floor balcony was beautiful, and it was only a short walk to a very nice beach, restruant lbs and shops. The view is the BEST! I would stay here again for that reason alone. Lots of beach supplies, clean unit. No AC was challenging on especially warm days. But lots of fans available and a good excuse to go back to the beach and enjoy the ocean.

Great Sunsets and territorial views.

A wonderful vacation and solo getaway, as advertised Jeanne’s property was maika’I loa. Clean, comfortable and terrific 6th floor views from the lanai with my head on a swivel. Everything I needed was provided and on hand, ironically I couldn’t find a pen to sign the guestbook on my way out, but everything was great. I will certainly recommend. Mahalo!

12 wonderful days at Kihei Akahi

The trip started with great communication with the owner. The condo was clean, quiet, and pretty much as advertised. Grounds and building were well maintained and the management unobtrusive. Condo was well equipped. Location was great with a wonderful beach (Kamaole ll) just across the street and restaurants, stores within walking distance. Time on the lanai for morning coffee and meals treats one to bird sounds and wonderful views. Thoroughly enjoyed my stay!

Beautiful ocean views with convenient location

Breakfast with an ocean view or dinner with a sunset view from this top floor unit. Excellent location that is a short walk to many shops, beach rentals and several wonderful places to dine. The quiet pool is just steps away with a short 2 min walk from AMAZING K Beach 2! Good luck finding a great listing at this rate. Owner is very responsive and a pleasure to work with.

Perfect stay at a wonderful condo

The property had everything you would want for a perfect beach vacation (beach towels, umbrellas, chairs, cooler bag) and made our lifes so much easier. The hostess was super friendly and helpfull answering all questions almost instantly. She was even kind enough to let us have a late check-out which basically added one more beach day to our vacation. The inside interior is very authentic and the view from the balcony is stunning. I would come back here and will recommend to anyone who will go to Maui.

Great Stay in Kihei

My wife and I stayed in this condo. We have stayed in the complex before, but not in building D. Being on the 6th floor offered great sunsets and view of the water. Pool and grounds at maintained very well. A short walk to parks and restaurants. Also a nice craft market on Weds that is a block from the condo entrance. The condo was great outside of no AC and limited cooking supplies like cooking oil or spices so hit the store on the way in. Overall great place and we will look to book again on out next trip to Kihei.

A beautiful convenient spot in Kihei, great views!

Really enjoyed ourselves at Jeanne's place. It was in a nice convenient area of Kihei. The views were amazing as this unit is on the 6th floor. Nice cool breeze. Nice balcony to sit and watch the sunset and also to have coffee on in the morning and hear just how quiet it can get in Kihei sometimes. You can also hear the waves. Unit was well stocked and everything well noted. Would enjoy staying at Jeanne's place again anytime.

Great getaway

The location was amazing! Only a 3 minute walk from beach. We could see the beach from our patio! It was clean and the entire facility was extremely quiet. there was great, clean grilles for use. communication with host was fantastic! The only downfall is that we were there for 8 days, two adults and had 4 facecloths for the entire time, there were only 4 coffee filters and only 2.5 rolls of TP which would probably have slim chance lasted but it was terrible quality. We ended up having to go purchase said items to make it work. Otherwise well stocked! Even had parasols and beach chairs!

Beautiful views

I really would give it 4.5 stars if I could. The view is amazing. The grounds are very clean. The beach really is just across the street. The bamboo flooring is nice. I thought the bed was very comfortable (not hard, but firm and plush at the same time). I didn't give it a 5 stars only because of a few smaller things; the linen closet door is hard to open and close (the handle is on the wrong side and it sticks), the pot holders/oven mitts needed washed, the floor fan in the bedroom was so noisy that it bothered my husband, so I couldn't have it on at night (then I figured out that I could put it on level 2 and keep it on). It had beach chairs, umbrellas, a boogie board, noodles, coolers, and beach bag. Also, some extras that others had left, like sunscreens and spices and coffee. The view is right over one of the well maintained pools. The owner was very responsive to my questions.

Great location, great view and wonderful facility management

We had a wonderful time in Maui celebrating out 40th anniversary. Our unit had a great view and overall was fine, however, air conditioning should be a mandatory requirement in the late summer months. It was very hot and humid in our unit. We had friends staying in another unit in the same complex and they had their air on in the evening and could at least get a decent night's sleep. Not so in our unit. Their condo had been updated three years ago and was in much better condition than ours (broken toilet seat and the fan blades fell out of the ceiling fan). Fortunately we spent most of our time out and about, but it was uncomfortably hot and humid 95% of the time in the townhouse. Mahalo

Aloha and our apologies for the two broken items. My husband and I had just checked out of the unit 4 days before your arrival and neither the fan nor the toilet seat were broken. Such things can happen anytime however, and all you would need to do, as explained in your Welcome Letter and on the flyer stand in the unit, was to immediately call the management company to rectify the problems. August is undeniably the warmest month on Maui. We chose to install the roll-down sunshade and supply extra portable fans as electric costs in Hawaii are the highest in the nation and an AC can add up to $10/day to the electric bill, defeating our effort to keep our nightly rates reasonable.

A Maui Christmas

Before we even got to the property Jeanne was an incredible host. She replied promptly to emails and was incredibly accommodating. Jeanne wrote us a welcome letter and was clear with the ins and outs of the condo. Upon arriving we were instantly at home. I have been to Maui 21 times and can say the aesthetic was exactly what you would expect to feel at home in a Kihei condo. Not only was it beautiful inside, but everything has been cared for and remains looking like new. The kitchen was fully equipped with quality appliances and even the basic seasonings and pantry staples. The condo had two different air conditioning portable fans that kept the space cool and comfortable, especially on the hotter days. There was also a washing machine and dryer that made it super easy to keep up with any washing we needed to do. This condo is in a fantastic area and in a wonderful building complex. The host, Jeanne, was so easy to communicate with and made our trip so much easier than we could have hoped for. As always, Maui was amazing! The grounds of this property are gorgeous, and we could smell the plumeria flowers all the way up to the 6th floor lanai! Walking in and seeing the view unfold before us was amazing. The bed was extremely comfortable, but the unit itself could use a little refresh. All in all it was a great stay.

I had an amazing time staying at this property! The plants surrounding the unit were so beautiful to look at and of course the view was the best part. I watched many sunrises and sunsets on the balcony and enjoyed every minute of it. The unit had everything I would have needed, including beach supplies! I would definitely stay here again! The beach across the street is perfect and a great place for sunset swims.

Wonderful stay on Maui

We had the most amazing time on Kihei! You can’t beat the location of the condo and the view is absolutely amazing! We spent a lot of our time watching the sunset at night as the view is spectacular. Despite the heat the condo stays pretty cool and it was very comfortable. Thank you again :)

A little bit of a paradise

Wonderful location, fantastic views from balcony, quiet, comfortably and warmly appointed, excellent library of hikes, bikes, snorkels, swims, eats, etc. Host is thoughtful, prompt and helpful.

That's me welcoming my grandaughter on her second visit to Maui, an island with a good bit of my family's history intertwined. When my folks started coming to Hawaii in the 'fifties, they visited each island, then narrowed it to each location on Maui, and ended up in Kihei, just the best! Best access, best beaches, best weather, and nicest people. So when I decided I had to have a place of my own, they had done all the work for me! I have loved this location and my sweet condo with its large view for over 30 years now, remodeled it twice, and have a harder time every year dragging myself back to Seattle. But if I never left, I wouldn't be able to share it with all the wonderful guests I've welcomed over the years. I hope you will join them!

It's simply 'no ka oi' - the best! Cleanest ocean water on Maui (no agriculture upcountry), sweetest outlook due west with outlying islands, best whale-watching, and safest swimming beaches in Kihei. Just a one-block walk to family restaurants and shops, easy access to Kahului and airport.

I love to be outdoors--whether it's hiking, swimming, suntanning, or watching sunsets. I hike across Haleakala every year (to make sure I can still do it!) and tell my guests about other wonderful places to explore in my guest book. I think there can't be more lovely nor safer swimming beaches than the Kamaole Beaches--no rocks, gentle surf, water as clear as glass and as caressing as silk. And I make new friends down around the pool and barbecue grills every time I visit, but I can always retreat to the peaceful surroundings of my top-floor eyrie to watch the sunset and comtemplate the beauty of this magical island.
