Kihei Akahi C310 is a fantastic 1 bedroom, 1 bath condo. It has an ocean and Haleakala view from the lanai (balcony). It was completely renovated in 2022, with new furniture, new appliances - new everything! It has been modernized with Mitsubishi split A/C units in both the living room, and the bedroom. The new Anderson double-pane window and lanai doors keep the cool air in, and outside noise out.

The condo sleeps 4 comfortably, with a new luxury king bed in bedroom, and a new queen pull-out couch, with a memory foam mattress in the living room. There are nice ceiling fans above both beds.

The modern kitchen features a gas range/stove, full size fridge/freezer with ice maker and filtered water dispenser, large microwave, dishwasher, granite countertops, and a large island. It is well equipped for all your cooking needs.

The bathroom features a custom tiled shower, with a bench, and a frameless glass door/enclosure. The new toilet is an ADA compliant height. The toilet/shower area is separated from the vanity area with a door. The new LG “Wash Tower” washer/dryer is amazingly quiet, with a large capacity.

The Kihei Akahi resort is in a perfect location! It is directly across the street from Kamaole II beach, with Kamaole Beaches I and III on either side. All 3 beaches are family friendly, with lifeguards. They offer great snorkeling (with lots of sea turtles), swimming, boogie boarding, paddle boarding, whale watching (Nov-April), and people watching! Within walking distance is numerous restaurants, a convenience store, and lots of souvenir/apparel stores. There is also lots of places nearby that offer rentals of beach gear, paddle boards, kayaks, etc. Grocery stores are only 1-2 miles away. The luxurious Wailea/Makena area is only a 5-10 min drive, with many shops, beaches, and restaurants, and world famous golf courses. The main town of Kahului is only 20-25 min away, with the airport, and many stores ( Walmart, Target, Costco, etc ). Maalaea Harbor is a 15 min drive, with many boat excursion possibilities, as well as a world class Aquarium.

The Kihei Akahi Resort offers many amenities, inc elevators, assigned parking spot, 2 swimming pools, each with shaded BBQ/eating areas, tennis/pickleball court ( tennis gear is in the condo, and free to borrow from the office), and lush tropical landscaping throughout the complex.

The spacious condo also features:

* Beach chairs, towels, umbrella, rolling cooler, sand toys, and misc snorkel gear

* Large shampoo, conditioner, and body wash

* Laundry soap, fabric sheets, dish soap, hand soap, dishwasher detergent, and cleaning supplies

* Toilet paper, paper towels are provided

* Nice drip coffee maker, and we leave 2 individual packs of coffee grounds, each enough for 5-6 cups of coffee to get you started.

*There is usually coffee creamer in cabinet, along with some spices, olive oil, and some unopened food left by guests, as well as some condiments in fridge.

*. Linens, blankets, towels, etc

* Lots of USB charging ports available ( please provide your own charging cords )

* There is no land line phone in the condo, but wifi works great

Communication with Chris was plentiful and helpful. The condo had everything we needed and more, including ample beach equipment and toys for our toddler. The condo community was quiet and a very short walk to the beach and plenty of shopping and dining options. We would definitely stay here again!

The condo was great! Everything that we needed was there from the kitchen, bathroom, linens and beach items. Unit had a nice big washer and dryer. Chris was a great host! Excellent communication before and during our stay. Loved sitting out on the lanai looking at the ocean. Condo complex was also great- 2 pools, plenty of grills and right across from the beach!

We enjoyed our 10 days to the fullest. The condo was perfect, we could just walk across the street to Kam II beach, and were a short drive from our favorite snorkeling beaches. We really appreciated how the kitchen had many spices and condiments, made our cooking much easier.

I have stayed all over in this complex and others and this unit is hands down the best I have ever stayed in. The owner is very helpful and friendly, the room is beautiful and well stocked. I will definitely stay here from now on for my at least once a year trip to Maui.

Vacation Condo in South Maui

Great location to all south Maui beaches, several within walking distances to the condo. The condo is furnished very well including all appliances and is very clean. We could watch whales and sunsets from the lanai. The owner is excellent to work with!

My wife and I came to Maui on our honeymoon in 1993, and immediately loved the natural beauty of the island, and all the outdoor activities available. Over the years we became very experienced in snorkeling, long distance ocean swims, boogie boarding, and bodysurfing - 30 years later, those are still our favorite activities!

Along with our teenage daughter, Hana, we are very fortunate to spend time on Maui several times annually, and Maui is always on our minds, and in our hearts! Maui doesn’t disappoint!

We rented this condo from the owner for many years, and when he offered to sell it to us, we quickly accepted. Shortly after closing escrow in March 2020, Covid shut down the tourism industry in Hawaii, so we decided to do a complete renovation. The renovations were a lengthy and costly process, but turned out great, and everything in the condo is brand new!

We love the location of the Kihei Akahi, with so many beaches, restaurants, stores, etc a short walk or drive away. We also love the available complex amenities: 2 pools with BBQ’s and covered seating areas, tennis/pickle ball, immaculate landscaping including a botanical walk, assigned parking, etc.
