The kids had so much fun in the yard, fishing in the Blanco river and getting lost in the big house. We cook a fair bit and the kitchen had all the pots and pans and utensils you can imagine. So much fun

Couples Retreat

This was our second time staying at this house for our couples Valentine's retreat, and it was just as wonderful as the first. The location is beautiful, the home has tons of space, and it's always stocked with everything we could possibly need. The host is incredibly responsive and easy to communicate with, which makes the whole experience even better. We're already looking forward to staying here many more times in the future!

We loved all the places to gather, in small groups and large. The bedrooms are all distinct, comfy suites. Outside, the spacious lawn slopes down to the Blanco, a lovely place to watch the sunset!

Awesome stay!!

This property is perfectly located with a spacious and beautiful home. We had so much room and loved the river access. The kids enjoyed the hot tub and we enjoyed the large yard for games. We will absolutely stay here again!

Wimberley Winter Fun

We enjoyed our stay. The house is close to everything and provided the perfect backdrop for our trip. The views of the Blanco River from the house are amazing. We look forward to going back when the weather is warmer.

2026 TX STATE GRADUATION

Graduation was early 10:AM on Friday 5/9/25. So my family was coming from all over Texas & we met @ the Deep Water house on the river night before. When all arrived it was wonderful to have our own bedroom & bathroom to go to. After staying in San Marcos most all day it was wonderful to just chill out on the porch or running down to explore the river.We truly enjoyed every moment of our stay at that beautiful old large home!!

Family Gathering

House was large and well equipped. Lots of nice sitting areas. Lots of issues that distracted us including: no ac on when arrived and it took all evening to cool off, downstairs bedroom was very musty, lots of spider webs throughout, WiFi that was incredibly unreliable, hot tub that was full of sand and cold, lots of bugs in the house, wine cooler that never worked, freezer door was frozen shut, gas grill barely worked until we cleaned it, and the river had 6 inches of trash on the bottom that made swimming unpleasant and well, just not what we expected from a fine rental! Despite all that, our family had a great time together.

It means a lot that you were able to enjoy time together. While we can’t control the natural conditions around the property or in the river, we do take your comments seriously. We can confirm that pest control was recently performed. Our team did visit the property during your stay and drained/refilled the hot tub in response to your report. The one room with its private AC unit was working accordingly, and once the temperature was turned down, the room started to cool to the desired temp.

Fantastic property!

Our family and friends loved this property for our river vacation! The house is very spacious but the best part is the yard and river frontage/access! Nice, large shaded yard and you step into the river into deeper water that the kids loved. We had a blast!

Enjoyed our stay!

This house was perfect for our extended family. We took advantage of all 5 bedrooms, 6 baths, the gameroom, space and view. Management company quickly fixed the wifi issue professionaly and courteously. We will stay here again. Thank you!

Great location out in the country!!

A bunch of happy city slickers, a few outdoorsy people and 4 kids: was a great place to stay for us, pity that we could only do a weekend because of schedules and travel. Great communication from the property managers, they did the best they could. Highly recommended for a family gathering of 10 or more...

The best!

We've vacationed in Wimberley several times. This house is the one we always drove past thinking it would be the perfect place on the river. It has been remodeled and looks amazing. They've added a hot tub and all the perfect furnishings. This is a nice quiet part of the Blanco. What a cool place!

Lovely location, but...

The back yard is amazing with the river running by. The house is very large and the beds were comfortable. The house was an older house which I dont mind. What I did mind was the musty smell in the house, the water stinking of sulphur, a dirty hot tub that didntvwork, lught bulbs out

Our team was in constant communication with the guest, addressing each reported concern. Occasionally the river turns which is temporary. Light fixtures have since been replaced.

Perfect Location! RiverAccess and a Yard!

Excellent service from Management! Available anytime from beginning to end of stay. This place has everything you can need to enjoy a weekend get away. River Access,Grills, Pool tables, and plenty of room inside and out. Only 7 minutes from downtown . Don't hesitate..Book this place for a group of of 6 or more.

House on the River

The house has a ton of square footage. It has beautiful mature trees with lots of shade and a wonderful yard. The house could use a little TLC as it is 1970's old original everything, besides the kitchen. There is a sulfur smell to the water, but is most likely common in the area. Overall a beautiful huge house.
