Welcome to the Silver Screen Ranch in New Braunfels, our spacious home on 5 beautiful acres in Hill Country Texas, within 10-30 minutes of Canyon Lake, Wimberley, New Braunfels, and San Marcos. Whether you're planning a relaxing getaway or an adventure-filled stay, our property is the perfect base for your Hill Country experience.

We had a wonderful experience here! Really appreciated the baby toys and high chair that were available. The spacious living and kitchen space was perfect for our family get together. Great weekend!

My friends and I brought our daughters-in-law on a weekend trip so there were 11 women total. We had plenty of space. The beds were comfortable and the house was very nice. Would definitely recommend this house.

Perfect for a large group of friends!

We had a great experience and the house was perfect for us! So much room and privacy for each room. We traveled with 9 and had more than enough space. Host was super communicative and accommodating. While the host does provide some extra fans in a few of the rooms, I would suggest bringing your own if you are someone who typically sleeps hot. It’s just one of the upstairs bedrooms that got a little warm but nothing the extra fans didn’t fix! Overall, no complaints!! We look forward to staying here again!

Great inside and out. Game room and TV loft were perfect for the kids, big master for grandparents on the opposite side of the house provided quiet space, and the rustic outdoors invited daily wildlife. Would love to come again.

We had this house for 2 nights. I had my wedding reception here and it was perfect for a very casual gathering. Everyone loved the house and asked how I had found it. Plenty of space for parking, lots of room for guests to sleep, and it was an easy check in process. If I had to have a space like this again, I would be likely to rent this house again.

The Favorite

Our family has stayed in several nice AB&Bs over the last several years. This property is, by far, the favorite. The home is lovely and spacious (there are 16 of us ranging in age from 5 to adult) and the property is great (with deer in the yard each morning). Jessica could not have been more accommodating. She responded quickly and is easy to communicate with! We will want to stay there again if we have the opportunity!

Making Memories

The house is located deep in the country on dark roads so arrive during the day time. The property is spacious and many renovations have been made to update it. The house sits on over an acre of rustic land with a great deal of potential. Water pressure varies as the home uses a septic tank for service. Our group was comfortable and enjoyed the time away.

Jessica,I am not sure that you want me to post a review of our stay. We were very displeased with the appearance and condition of the property. The pictures that were on the listing were not what the property looked like at all. The Putt Putt was not even close to the pictures and there were all kinds of debris on it and around it, we could not even play on it. The property grounds looked horrible, we did not feel safe being outside with our grandkids due to all the random debris and large limbs that were everywhere on the property. I totally understand being out in the country but that does not mean the cleanup of the property does not need to happen. The water feature in the front of the property was in desire need of attention, we honestly feel with the neglect and the condition of the property it should not be listed on ANY -------- site. The property is to say the least a danger to any and all guests that stay there. There was only one area that was brought to our attention (and had a restriction sign) about needing to stay away from, when there were SO many other places that should / needed to be made aware of to stay away from. The tree house is an accident waiting to happen, the ladders for the tree house, one is broke, the other is an aluminum house ladder. Outside the house was not even usable, my grandkids could not even play on the patio, the mini golf, or even in any of the ‘grassy’ areas. Cheryl, we apologize for the issues you have encountered. We were not made aware of any of these issues during your stay. We wish we did, as we would have remedied what we could. We have since gotten the home completely heat- and chemical-treated for bed bugs. Two different pest companies did NOT find any evidence whatsoever of mice/mice droppings. We have gotten the other issues fixed as well. We put our heart into this home and continue to work on making it a safe and comfortable home to stay in for all our guests!
