Luxuriöse Landhausvilla - Privatpool - nah an der Natur

Villa Artemis ist ein neu erbautes Landhaus mit drei Schlafzimmern, in einigen 2 Morgen unberĂŒhrten natĂŒrlichen Umgebung. Die untere Ebene der Villa verfĂŒgt ĂŒber eine Tischtennisbereich und eine 8m lange Swimmingpool. Eine kurze Treppe fĂŒhrt hinauf zum Haupteingang, die wiederum mĂŒndet in einem schönen gut eingerichtete Wohn- / Esszimmer und offener KĂŒche. Die Lounge verfĂŒgt ĂŒber einen Kamin, Sat-TV, DVD und aGeben Station 3. Die TerrassentĂŒren öffnen sich auf der vorderen Terrasse und Pool-Bereich. Auf dieser Ebene gibt es auch ein Badezimmer mit Hydromassage-Dusche. Daneben befindet sich der erste klimatisierte Zimmer und eine Dusche mit WC en-suite. Eine Marmortreppe fĂŒhrt in den ersten Stock und zwei weitere Schlafzimmer. Beide Schlafzimmer verfĂŒgen ĂŒber Terrassen mit Blick auf den Pool, Garten und die Bucht von Rethymnon in der Ferne hat. Auf dieser Etage gibt es auch ein großes Badezimmer. Im Erdgeschoss gibt es einen neu gebauten Fitnessraum, wo unsere GĂ€ste sich selbst auszuĂŒben. Neben dem Pool und dem Grillplatz gibt es reichlich Platz, um im Freien zu speisen. Lokale GeschĂ€fte sind 1 km entfernt von der Ortschaft Prines. Ein Auto ist unerlĂ€sslich.

Luxurious Accommodations

The villa was gorgeous! The accommodations were luxurious and very comfortable. The host family provided us with many extra amenities and gifts, and they stayed in communication with us throughout our visit. Staying at Villa Artemis was a Five Star experience.

Great place to stay

We had a great time at the villa. The peace and quiet was amazing as were the views. We’re a family of 5 but felt like we had plenty of space outside and in. Stella was very helpful and sat down with us on the first day suggesting places we might like to visit - all were spot on. We went into Rethymnon most evenings to eat out - fabulous old town - but local restaurant The Verandah was lovely too.

Fabulous place with truly hospitable hosts

We had a fabulous stay. The views were amazing. The house is a good size and has everything you need. The garden area was well maintained. We loved chilling by the pool. The hosts were incredibly hospitable and generous and helped us find great restaurants and beaches too. A truly lovely week away. To be recommended.

Amazing villa and hosts

Just back from a fabulous stay in Villa Artemis. The villa is beautiful and a great base to explore the island. Rethymno old town is very close and full of lovely restaurants and shops. On the way there you will pass through Atsipopoulo, make sure to go to the bakery beside the 7 days grocery store! Our hosts were so welcoming and did all they could to make sure we had a great holiday, including bringing us treats and presents! I can totally recommend staying at the villa, we were all very sad to leave at the end of our holiday.

Das Haus liegt in ruhiger, lĂ€ndlicher Gegend mit traumhaftem Fernblick inmitten von Olivenhainen. Man sieht das Meer, die Berge und die vor einem liegende Stadt Rethymnon. In wenigen Minuten kann man einen Supermarkt, Restaurants, BĂ€cker oder andere kleine LĂ€den erreichen. In ca. 10-20 min kann man verschiedene StrĂ€nde erreichen.Das Haus, der Pool und das gesamte GrundstĂŒck waren sehr sauber und gepflegt. Wir wurden voller Gastfreundschaft von Familie Soufoulaki empfangen und angenehm mit Informationen und kleinen und großen Aufmerksamkeiten und Köstlichkeiten versorgt. Die RĂ€ume waren großzĂŒgig geschnitten und hell. Die insgesamt drei Badezimmer entspannten den Familienalltag. Es gab frische BettwĂ€sche und HandtĂŒcher, die auch wĂ€hrend eines einwöchigen Aufenthaltes gewechselt wurden.Eine erstklassige Unterkunft und Betreuung!Wir sind sehr froh und dankbar fĂŒr die schöne Urlaubszeit in dieser Landhausvilla auf Kreta und können sie nur empfehlen.

Wunderschönes Haus, Lage und Sauberkeit sind top!Es ist alles vorhanden was man im Urlaub so braucht.Die Famlie Soufoulaki kĂŒmmert sich toll um ihre GĂ€ste.Bei Ankunft wurden wir mit einer komplette Erstausstattung an Lebensmitteln ĂŒberrascht.Danke Roula fĂŒr das Moussakka und den Kuchen :-)Sollte es uns nochmal nach Kreta ziehen, dann wieder hier.

Sonnenurlaub in den Bergen

Großes Haus, großer Pool, großer Garten. Die EigentĂŒmerfamilie ist sehr gastfreundlich und schaute gelegentlich mal kurz vorbei um zu fragen ob wir zufrieden sind und alles in Ordnung ist. Am Anreisetag spĂ€t abends waren ein paar GetrĂ€nke und etwas zu essen fĂŒr uns da, lecker. Der Pool wurde jeden Tag gereinigt. Wer eine etwas abgelegene, idyllische Lage mit Panoramablick auf Meer und die Berge mag ist hier genau richtig. Trotzdem ist man in 20 Minuten in Rethymno. SupermĂ€rkte, BĂ€ckereien und Tavernen in 5-10 Minuten erreichbar. Ein Auto ist ein Muss. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefĂŒhlt.

Wunderbar ruhig und

abgeschieden. Die Unterkunft ist noch schöner als die Fotos vermuten lassen, alles ist sehr sauber und gepflegt. Ein herzliches Dankeschön nochmal an unsere wunderbaren und gastfreundlichen Vermieter đŸ€—. Das einzige Manko war die schlecht funktionierende SpĂŒlmaschine und ein leichter „Modergeruch“ in den SchrĂ€nken. Wir wĂŒrden trotzdem wieder buchen!

Wunderbarer Urlaub

Viel Positives wurde bereits geschrieben, dem können wir uns nur anschließen. Herzliche Gastgeber, eine wunderbare Villa, mit allem was man braucht und mehr. Ein herrlicher privater Pool und schöner Garten. Die Alleinlage bietet herrliche Ruhe. Kein Auto- oder FluglĂ€rm. Nur Tiere machen ab und an auf sich aufmerksam. Die Villa ist bei Bedarf komplett klimatiesiert, dies kann man wohl auch in jedem Raum separat einstellen, wir haben dies im Juni nicht gebraucht. Hervorragend ist der Insektenschutz, so kann man sogar bei offenem Fenster schlafen. Es wurde wirklich seitens der EigentĂŒmer an alles gedacht. Auf diesem Wege nochmals ein herzliches Dankeschön fĂŒr die freundliche und unkomplizierte Betreuung vor und wĂ€hrend des Urlaubs. Wir empfehlen diese Unterkunft bedenkenlos weiter. Tout Ă©tait parfait !

Nous avons passĂ© une super semaine en famille dans la Villa ArtĂ©mis. Stella et sa famille sont aux petits soins pour que votre sĂ©jour soit inoubliable. Nous sommes arrivĂ©s le samedi soir tard et la maman de Stella nous avait prĂ©parĂ© une dĂ©licieuse Moussaka, des gĂąteaux et un Raki nous attendait. Quel accueil !!! Nous avions des provisions pour les premiers jours dans les placards et le frigo. En milieu de sĂ©jour les serviettes, le linge de maison ont Ă©tĂ© changĂ© et le mĂ©nage a Ă©tĂ© fait et Ă  nouveau nous avons Ă©tĂ© gĂątĂ© par Stella et sa famille avec un bon gĂąteau et des petites surprises. Nous avons vraiment Ă©tĂ© accueilli comme des rois. Sinon la Villa est magnifique, trĂšs spacieuse, avec tout le confort. Nous Ă©tions 5 et nous nous sommes vraiment senti chez nous. L'endroit est trĂšs calme et la vue, notamment Ă  l'Ă©tage, est magnifique. Niveau emplacement c'est idĂ©al puisque vous ĂȘtes Ă  10 min de Rethymnon en voiture et avec tous les accĂšs vers la cĂŽte sud, vers Heraklion ou vers La CannĂ©e, ce qui nous a permis de vadrouiller sur cette magnifique Ăźle et de voir beaucoup de chose en 1 semaine. A proximitĂ© de la Villa il y a tout ce qu'il faut en 3 Ă  5 minutes en voiture (Taverne, pharmacie, Ă©picerie, boulangerie ...). Bref je vous recommande vivement cette superbe Villa. Une chose est sĂ»re si nous devons revenir en CrĂšte ça sera par le biais de Stella et sa famille.

Calme absolu à aproximité de Rethymnon

Stella et ses parents nous ont rĂ©servĂ© un accueil trĂšs chaleureux et beaucoup de prĂ©venance et de disponibilitĂ© tout au long du sĂ©jour. La maman de Stella nous avait cuisinĂ© une excellente Moussaka pour le diner d'arrivĂ©e. La maison est entourĂ© de prĂ©s, calme absolu assurĂ©! La proximitĂ© de Rethymnon (5 kms) est trĂšs apprĂ©ciable, c'est une ville au charme authentique avec de jolies rues piĂ©tonnes et de bons restaurants. La situation de la maison au centre de la CrĂȘte permet de dĂ©couvrir cette jolie Ăźle facilement. La villa est fonctionnelle, rien ne manque. Nous vous conseillons cette location.

Great stay. Fantastic accommodation andhospitality

Stella and family were so welcoming and generous. We ate the best moussaka on our first evening and enjoyed the produce they provided. The villa was perfectly private and surrounded by olive trees. The pool, cleaned every day by brother George, was such a joy for the children and adults alike. The various spaces in the villa provided what we needed as a group with three children and three adults. The villa was clean and well equipt for cooking. The family also cleaned the villa midweeek - changing towels and making it spotless again. The local tavernas were fantastic as was the entire island. We loved having a BBQ at the villa and chilling out there and also having a few days out exploring places near and far. Crete is a fantastic and stunning island. Stella's family villa was a perfect base. We all agreed that it was one of the most relaxing and enjoyable holidays. Thank you also to Stella and her family for helping us sort out a bag which we accidentally left at the villa on our last day. We were so grateful for your help. Wonderful place

We had a truly relaxing peaceful stay in the villa. Beautiful tranquil surroundings yet within 20 mins walk of the local village and tavernas. We would recommend this villa to anyone and the hospitality of Stella and her family make you feel very welcome.

Great villa in a beautiful surrounding

Villa Artemis is beautifully situated on a hill just outside Prines, which is close to Rethymno. From the villa you have a great view. First on the garden and the pool and then on the green surroundings to the sea and to the mountaintops. You hear the birds and the sheep. The villa is great; very well equipped and spotlessly clean. The owners, the Sofoulaki family, are a very warm, generous and friendly family. They make you feel at home from the very first moment. We had a great week in Crete with great weather (not to hot, but a nice temperature). We can recommend visiting Preveli Beach in the South. We took the boat from Plakias. The downside of taking the boat is waiting for it to return to Plakias. Also the Mili Gorge and Lake Kournas are worth a visit. We liked visiting the old town of Rethymo. We strongly preferred this over the part at the Venetian harbour, which is more commercial. We had a great dinner in the taverna Giannikos in Prines. The kids loved the pool (although it was still a little bit cold for the pool at this of year) and the gym underneath the villa. We want to thank Stella, Rula, Dimitris, George and Mary for their care.

Our home in Crete !

We have just come back from 3 weeks at the villa and as its our 4th holiday there we now feel like it's home from home.The facilities are first class,the views are spectacular and the location is a perfect fit for those in the family who want peace and quiet and those who enjoy the nightlife in nearby Rethymnon. However the real difference in booking this villa from many others we have been to is the detail and care the owners put into making you feel welcome and that you have everything you could need. On our last holiday they even invited us to a wedding - a real Mamma Mia moment ! A really wonderful place to stay !

A very special place

We arrived in the middle of the night and a day early.....but Stella and her parents could not have been more helpful despite our mistake, they found us a hotel at 3 in the morning and even offered to halve the costs! I suppose you could say, and it is, great customer service but it so, so much more and indicative of just how well you will be looked after if you stay here. The villa itself is faultless in terms of facilities, layout, cleanliness, view, location...everything! This is a very very special place and we hope to return next year. Thank you Stella and your family, we could not have asked for more. I would happily recommend Villa Artemis to anyone especially the moussaka....!!!

Lovely villa

Very Nice villa . With a nicely wellcome from Stella. NÎ noise . Pretty swimingpool, garden with BBQ Ping pong table . For children it was the paradise . They lovéd the sport room also. . 10mn driving from rethimon . Supermarket at 5 mn. A car is obligatory. I strongly recommend

Little Paradise

Wir waren zum 2.Mal in der Villa Artemis. Die Lage mitten im Olivenhain ist bezaubernd,ebenso der Ausblick auf die Bucht. Aber dies ist nichts wenn man die Gastfreundschaft von Familie Sofoulaki geniessen darf. Im Haus waren alle Dinge des tĂ€glichen Lebens, wir mussten erst am 3.Tag einkaufen - was aber besonders zĂ€hlt ist die LiebenswĂŒrdigkeit aller Familienmitglieder; jeder Wunsch ist schon erfĂŒllt, noch bevor er ausgesprochen wurde.

Villa Artemis, an outstanding accomodation

The villa was every bit as attractive as described on the website. The setting is idyllic, the pool and grounds well maintained and the villa itself beautifully appointed. Prines has the excellent Mikaelis taverna and nearby Atsipopolou has the bakery and good supermarkets. Rethymnon, with a wide choice of beaches, restaurants and nightlife is only 15 minutes drive. The welcome and hospitality from Stella and her family was quite outstanding and we would recommend Villa Artemis 100%

Best holiday ever....can't wait to go back!

Villa Artemis was absolutely amazing. We arrived late at night to find everything we could need to create an evening meal (including the infamous Moussaka) and a bottle of wine. But, of course, after a long journey we opted for a quick dip in the pool first! The house was perfect in every way - clean, comfortable and well appointed. We wanted for nothing. We woke to stunning countryside and views stretching to the coast. Stella visited on the first day and answered all our questions and gave some great restaurant recommendations. A car is essential as the larger supermarkets are a short drive away although for odds and ends a 15 minute walk will see you in the village. It's a nice walk to the village, if you are walking back at night you may need torches unless the moon is full. Both of the Tavernas in Prines are great - really good value and friendly. Stella and family were lovely and their generosity and friendliness made our stay extra special. From start to finish the customer service was excellent and I would recommend Villa Artemis whole heartedly. If I could change anything - I would like a volume control for the Cicadas. We have already planned our return and look forward to seeing them all again.

An outstanding villa in a super location.

We had such an amazing holiday at Villa Artemis. From the minute we arrived ( very late at night) we were very well looked after by Stella and her family, and made to feel very welcome. The villa is very private but close enough to walk into Prines to Giannis' fabulous taverna. The villa was spotlessly clean and very well equipped. The pool is lovely-our kids spent hours in the water, day after day. Overall, a very relaxing and enjoyable holiday on a very beautiful island. Thank you Stella, Roula, Dimitris, George and Mary-you made our stay so memorable-we are already looking forward to coming back again next year!

fantastic villa, great location

This is a fabulous villa which we have now visited 3 times. It is very well equipped as described with everything you could want for your holiday and is always immaculately clean. It has a great pool and poolside area surrounded by your own olive grove. Local shops are a few minutes away by car and the lovely Venetian port of Rethimnon is 5 minutes further. The family who own the villa are incredibly helpful and generous. Nothing is too much trouble and they give useful and accurate information before and during your stay. We will definitely be going back again soon.

A SUPER stay at 'Villa Artemis'

We had a wonderfull stay at 'Villa Artemis'. When we arrived at the villa after a long trip from holland we were very warmly welcomed by some members of the Sofoulakis family. (The owners of 'Villa Artemis'.) They showed us arround and make us feel very welcome. In case we needed anything they will be right at the corner and come to help us. When we opened the refrigerator we saw all kinds of sweets and products from there own garden en the beautifull garden of 'Villa Artemis'. The view and the pool were amazing and we had so wonderfull weather in may when we were in Crete. The water of the pool was also very warm for the time of te year. We would definitely go back again to villa Artemis! We can recommend it to anyone! With greetz to the lovely Sofoulakis family! Best regards, Family Timmer from the Netherlands
