Loved our stay! We were sad to leave. The view and easy beach access were amazing, and loved that it was on the second floor so we could use the stairs or elevator. Balcony was a great place to relax and watch the waves. Clean, cute, super convenient location and easy to use the WiFi, etc. Nice AC, convenient laundry room right in the condo. Host had great communication.

The property was very nice and up to date. The floor could have been cleaner, condo could have been stocked better with a few bowls with lids. We bought a few kitchen towels and a bowl with a lid at dollar tree to donate. Overall the experience was great, on the beach, nice pool.

Nice gulf view. Great sunrises and sunsets. Clean common areas and helpful on site staff. Enjoyed the indoor pool in February but relaxing around the outdoor pool was also nice. Comfortable chairs. Easy walk to the beach. Convenient to grocery stores, restaurants and places to explore.

The pictures are an accurate representation of the condo.The beach view was as expected.The furnishings in this unit were not acceptable for the price. The mattress in the 2nd bedroom was terrible and sank to the springs—this was listed in a review from 2025 and still not resolved at our June 2026 stay. The refrigerator did not dispense ice or water to name a few issues we encountered. The host responded promptly when we told them of the issues. We were thanked for the feedback to improve the stay of future guests. I sincerely hope they address their issues but this did little to improve my stay.

It was okay. Nothing great, but nothing bad. Excessive sand left on the floor when we arrived. It obviously had not been swept up by cleaners. Only had one pillow per person and they were flat. The mattresses were worn out with sinking in the middle of the bed. Main bathroom sink clogged and toilet paper holder broken/missing. Main shower liner was moldy. Room smelled foul when we arrived but we resolved it by putting a lemon in the garbage disposal. Lower price for the area, but we were still somewhat disappointed.

Great location and very nice condo!

The location is perfect. Close to restaurants like The Gulf and Cobalt etc. Condo was just was in good shape and was perfect for me and my daughter and two of her friends. Beach was great and would highly recommend.

The home was very nice and clean. We had spectacular views of beach and gulf. We loved the idea of 2 pools. The main bedroom was great. The shower in one bathroom and tub in other is great. The second bedroom needs a new mattress. It was very uncomfortable as well as needing blackout curtains due to a light outside the window.

Enjoyed our experience

Overall we really enjoyed our condo. It had lots of storage space and plenty of room to get around. Our only bad experience was the furniture needs to upgraded. The stuffed chairs are very worn and the dining table is too small to eat at.

Nice condo; great location

The reality of the Tidewater condo was better than the website would lead you to believe. It's not fancy, but it's a nice condo with a great view. The only down side is the doors don't make perfect seals; if the wind and rain pick up the doors will leak.

There was just a few things that need looking into. The door going onto the balcony does not lock and the shower curtains need to be replaced. Over all it was a nice place to stay.

Vacation with grandkids

The reviews were about right with the property. The furniture is dated and worn. The sofa bed was hard to pull out, there was a chip in the wall, the patio door lock in the living room is still broken, but they had sticks to put down for security. All in all it was a very nice and clean. We really enjoyed ourselves. The beach was fun for the kids, and they really enjoyed the pool. Watching fireworks from the balcony was an added treat.

The property was awesome,we just had a few concerns.the ceiling had a crack in it from the back sliding door to the kitchen area.the sliding door would not lock,but they did have a stick to put in it.then we had a little trouble with the front door lock,but I finally figured it out,you had to pull on the door and it would work perfectly.The condo next to us was a little scary,201 you could see the balcony was drooping on one end.but overall we had a good time,and would rent again.

One problem

I would like to see some increased monitoring on the vehicles in the parking lot. My trailer hitch was stolen from my truck. It’s not the money , it’s the aggravation of having to purchase another hitch. A new hitch will cost in the neighborhood of $50. Please have more of a presence in the parking lot of the property.

Nice Unit, but deceiving balcony view.

This unit at the Tidewater was very nice and comfortable. It was clean and stocked with everything we needed. The only problem was that the photo of the view from the balcony was completely deceiving. It showed a beautiful view of the beach and gulf (which is my biggest desire...a perfect view). In reality the balcony view (which is on the second floor) is directly over the roof of the indoor pool and fitness room. So...you are looking out at the roof then the beach and gulf beyond that. There were workers repairing the skylights on the roof during our stay, so I could not enjoy the balcony the way I like too. There was no privacy since I was eye level with construction workers as they repaired the roof. That was very disappointing. The photo from the balcony view and the description of the beautiful view need to be replaced to show future renters that the balcony overlooks a rooftop.

Dale, thank you for reviewing your stay it is truly valuable to our success. I will be updating our listing to reflect the construction on the roof of the indoor pool. (This is due to completed 5/15/21) We do have on our listing that their is construction going on, but not specifics, which is what I will be updating. I can understand wanting to be sitting on my balcony and enjoying the beautiful beach view. I hope this would not defer you from renting with us again and hope to host you in the future. Cheaply furnished

This property is in a great location. You can walk across a sand dune bridge and be right on the beautiful Orange Beach.it is also a very family friendly building and area which was nice. Yet it is so cheaply furnished it distracts from the beauty of the location. It needs paint and, at the minimum, a refresh overall. The couch is leather but cracked and losing color where it’s worn from use. The silverware is the cheapest you can buy. The coffee maker is a regular pot that requires filters and coffee. Not a Keurig. The worst is the master bathroom shower curtain. The rod is too short and the curtain frequently fell down during a shower. When we got there the code given for the door was wrong so we had trouble getting in and then it was always difficult to open. The code for the gate to get into the parking lot was wrong. The elevators were frequently out of service or only one was working and there were 12 floors in this building. Fortunately we were on 2 so we could walk up. Other than all of that we enjoyed being there
