Das Beach Happy ist ein halb am Meer gelegenes Anwesen am abgelegenen nördlichen Ende von Avon, NC. Das Beach Happy bietet einen perfekten Rundumblick auf den Atlantik und den Pamlico Sound. Das Erdgeschoss des Anwesens bietet überdachte Parkplätze für mehr als vier Fahrzeuge unter dem Haus. Darüber hinaus bietet die Unterkunft eine Außendusche, einen Fischreinigungstisch und einen Parkgrill auf dem Gelände. Beach Happy besteht aus 2 Stockwerken und befindet sich über 20 Fuß über dem Boden. Die erste Etage beherbergt vier Schlafzimmer, von denen jedes Zugang zu einem kompletten Badezimmer hat. Der zweite Stock beherbergt die Wohnräume des Hauses und bietet eine Küche, eine Bar, einen Küchentisch, einen Esstisch, ein Wohnzimmer, ein Wohnzimmer und ein Spielzimmer. Beide Etagen bieten Rundum-Terrassen mit Blick auf das Meer und die Geräusche auf jeder Ebene sowie reichlich Sitzgelegenheiten und Gartenmöbeln auf beiden Etagen. Das Spielzimmer ist mit Büchern und Spielen für Kinder jeden Alters ausgestattet. Das Beach Happy befindet sich in einer ruhigen Sackgasse, nur 10 m von der Unterkunft entfernt befindet sich eine Rampe mit Zugang zum Strand. Schließlich befindet sich das Beach Happy in der Nähe beliebter Windsurf-Standorte, Einkaufsmöglichkeiten, Restaurants und anderer Ausflugsziele. Beach Happy

Beach Happy is a great location for easy access to the beach. We enjoyed the games, and home-y feel the property had to offer. Brenda was easy to communicate with and offered tips.

Spring break family trip

Property was as advertised. House was clean and had plenty of room for our group. Kids loved the game room and all of the games, basketball goal was a plus. Kitchen had everything we needed and grocery store was not far away. Would stay there again.

Amazing stay at BEACH HAPPY

Second trip staying at this home and great experience both occasions. Perfect house location with grocery and bait shops close while also being central located between north and south beaches. Communication with the host Brenda is always stellar from beginning to end of the trip. Would highly recommend BEACH HAPPY!

A Beautiful Experience

I stayed at Beach Happy the week of October 12th through 19th, 2024. The house is beautiful and the pictures on VRBO do not do it justice. I truly felt as if I was a guest in a relative’s house. The decor is perfect, with personal touches that make everything seem special. The kitchen is very well stocked and provided all you would need to prepare food for any size gathering. The refrigerator/freezer pushed out ice 24/7 and is new. The are multiple areas to sit and eat with great views all around. The family room/living area is decorated with some of the most comfortable furniture I have ever sat on. The beds are so comfortable. The bathrooms are updated and are very clean and bright. The beach is very close and probably one of the best beaches in the outer banks. The decks are all around the house and you will have great views of sunrises and sunsets every day. The best aspect of my trip was the communications with the owner, Brenda. She is a star in my book! From helping me when I missed a road getting there, to making sure I was a “Beach Happy” resident every day of my stay, words cannot say enough. Brenda has a personal touch that you do not often receive when you do a rental, whether VRBO, or others. She was essential to my perfect vacation! I hope this review helps others in knowing what a great find this home and Brenda truly are! Thanks, Ron in Virginia

Tough Owner, great location

The owner only gave short answers to all of our questions and didn't answer all the question we asked. The code they gave us didn't work so we had to use their hideakey to get in. The house is nice and in a great location. It was nice for a couple families to share. There are a ton of stairs which makes things hard when you have little kids. The owner contacted us midweek about the house and seemed to have been watching us. After check out, we were harassed about minor cleaning items that needed to be done.

Excellent stay

The house was exactly as pictured. Super comfortable, clean, beautiful views. Beds were comfortable. Even with the unfortunate weather we enjoyed the hot tub and the short walk to the beach when it wasn’t raining. The home was well appointed and we needed nothing. Brenda was amazing and always easy to reach with an answer to any questions.

Two big wins!

This was our first family trip to the OBX and the first time we used VRBO (better later than never!) We can’t say enough about both! Brenda’s house was perfect for my husband, me and our triplet 13 yr old boys. Everyone had their own space to relax. The house was clean and exactly as pictured. We loved the proximity to the beach, which was amazing! The boys played a lot of basketball which was an added bonus! I loved having so many choices of where to sit outside and read with a great view! I told Brenda we can’t wait to come back.

Fantastic

This was our second year staying at Beach Happy, and it was again amazing! We LOVE that it's so close to the beach but in a safe cul de sac. The kids and adults loved playing in the game room! Brenda is a FANTASTIC host who communicates so well, and wants your vacation to be top notch. It is refreshing and wonderful to have someone so personable and sweet. We highly recommend Beach Happy!

Annual Avon Trip

We have been going to Avon annually since 1991- we have been house hoppin the last couple years looking for our new annual home. This place was above perfect for our needs- with four teens and significant others/friends- and us (late 40s/50s) it was super cozy for all of us. Avon gives you quiet sleepy town evenings and a quick drive up or down the island to excursions like mini golf, go cards, and zip lining. We were able to enjoy sunrise and sunset from the top deck as the sound and ocean are both viewed from this home. Can’t ask for a better family vacation.

Great location for a beach getaway!

We had a great week at Beach Happy! We had two teens, one tween, and 5 adults and we had plenty of room. Kitchen was great for cooking simple meals for all of us, it was a short walk to the beach and to several restaurants. It was clean and comfortable.

Juste en arrivant sur les lieux, nous avons été avisés qu’il n’y avait pas de draps de lit, ni de serviette. La propriétaire nous a prêté des draps mais aurait préféré que nous achetions des draps. Brenda aurait voulu que nous lavions les serviettes et draps mais nous l'avons appris qu'après notre départ. Bref, ça s'est quand même bien déroulé. Brenda est facilement rejoignable sur portable. L'emplacement est super et la maison assez grande et accueillante.

Wonderful week-long stay at Beach Happy

We had a fantastic time staying at this property. I was close to the ocean and close to the sound, and the spot was very quiet. The house had everything we needed, particularly in the kitchen. I really liked the decor. A lot of times, rental homes will either have very few decorations or lots of things that you would not want to look at, but if I were buying this house I would want all the decorations to convey with the sale. The beds were comfortable and the hot tub was conveniently located on an upper level outdoor porch. We would happily stay here again.

Perfect Getaway

We had a wonderful time at Beach Happy, and a great experience thanks to Brenda! She was able to provide guidance when bad weather came in, and we were able to leave early due to the approaching tropical storm. The only issue I might state was raised nails/screws on deck surfaces made my mama heart worried for my daughter to play outside without shoes. Otherwise, everything was truly perfect, wonderful amenities, quick, easy walk down to the beach, access to shopping, restaurants, and groceries within 5 mins from the house. We definitely plan to visit the area again, and would recommend Beach Happy to anyone looking in the area.

Great week!

This house was perfect for what we were looking for. The house is on the northern side of Avon so it was a quieter part of the beach compared to further down near the pier which is exactly what we hope for when on hatteras. The walk to the beach was easy and close and the house was beautiful and allowed for watching sunsets on the sound from the deck. We will definitely be wanting to stay again in the future. Brenda also was very helpful and available throughout the process! Thank you!

Great Location, Great House!

I loved everything about this house. So close to the beach, barely any neighbors, ocean views AND sound views. We walked to dinner at the Po House and drove down to Koru for the Thursday concert. We were four mom friends on our own and we had a wonderful week. The house was perfect for our needs, more than enough space, and CUTE! Most important, we used three showers at once and never ran out of hot water! Thank you, Brenda, for a terrific vacation.

Outstanding OBX family vacation!

My BF and I took our blended family on our first family vacation and it exceeded our expectations. The property was just as advertised and the photos are spot on. The home is well-loved, well-cared for, and was just perfect for the five of us. It was a very close walk to the beach, and Avon and the surrounding area has so much to offer - good restaurants, nice galleries, and abundant shopping (if desired). We spent most of our time at Beach Happy and at the beach. The fully stocked kitchen and charcoal grill made cooking a breeze and we enjoyed completing a puzzle every night we were there. Brenda was the best host I’ve had so far! Excellent communication at every point, including a reminder the day before to bring linens. She let us in a little early which was a very welcome surprise. This was my first trip to the OBX and I look forward to returning. I’d absolutely stay at Beach Happy again! Thanks Brenda and Steve for a fabulous week!

We were “Beach Happy!”

First time visiting the Outer Banks. Very nice and quiet neighborhood. Just a short walk to the beach. Owner was quick to respond, very helpful and friendly. The house was as described and clean. We made most of our meals there. Everything we needed was at our fingertips. Would definitely return again. Thank you for opening up your home to us.
