Derzeit renoviert. Weitere Fotos folgen in Kürze !! Ein Schlafzimmer mit offenem Wohn-Essbereich. Fantastische Aussicht auf die Stadt und den Hafen von der privaten Dachterrasse. Alles zu Fuß, Geschäfte, Restaurants, Fähren zu den Inseln. Auf der anderen Straßenseite vom Walfangmuseum und nur wenige Minuten vom Zieterion Theater entfernt. Frühstück gleich um die Ecke und Mittagessen Abendessen gleich die Straße runter in meinem Lieblingsrestaurant Cork Wine and Tapas. Parken auf der Straße oder in der Elm Street Parkhaus einen Block entfernt.

Phillip’s place was very well-kept and convenient. We were able to walk everywhere we wanted to go with ease, and the apartment itself was comfortable and clean. We’d stay again.

Perfect location

The house was in such a great location. We walked everywhere. Enjoying a glass of wine in the owls nest was such a treat. The house was clean, comfortable and spacious.

Mini Vaca New Bedford

Property was in a great location. Walking distance to museums, restaurants, bars & ferries. We were on the third floor which has spiral staircase to roof. The roof top has small table with chairs. It could use a little TLC, but the view is great. Would stay here again. Host was great.

Lovely visit in historic New Bedford

This is a large one bedroom loft like property with lots of light and ambiance. The furnishings are comfortable and tasteful, kitchen well equipped, and the location is wonderful for exploring New Bedford and it's rich history. The roof terrace is delightful and a special feature of the experience. Phil is a great host, very responsive and communicative.

My beloved New Bedford

Hey Phil, I fill this out earlier, and I am not certain you saw my comments. We had a great stay. Location is great. Your assistance was great. Not certain you want observations, you may already be aware of this, but I mentioned a thought for you to consider about the spiral staircase. I hung a couple towels on the 5th, 6th, & 7th steps outer edge of the stairs that are on the side adjacent to the dining table. We had a couple close encounters with the stair structure and our heads. It happened when we first arrived and so I put the towels up as a deterrent to “not get too close”. Perhaps putting something in that area under the stairs to help visitors from coming into contact with the stairs would help. Plant or piece of furniture. Just a thought.

Beautiful Space!

The Crow's Nest is a large and very comfortable 1 BR apt. with a spiral stair up to a deck with nice views of the harbor to enjoy coffee in the morning or a glass of wine in the evening. There is also plenty of room to relax in the large living area. The owners paid a lot of attention to detail! We hope to come back next year!

Great Location

The thing that makes this place stand out is the crow's nest. It really made the place a great find. My wife and I spent every evening up there watching the boats going in and out, and enjoying the sea breezes. The whaling museum was really nice, and the food in the area was excellent as well, several restaurants to choose from. The condo is really well maintained and decently stocked with utensils and the like for those cooking in. We will definitely stay again should the opportunity arise. The owner was very responsive to any questions we had as well.

Great location

The property is close to restaurants, the ferry to the Vineyard and the Whaling Museum. We took a day and walked around looking at the old buildings. Some dating back to the 1700's. The only negatives were the 2 flights of stairs up to the unit and the parking. The stairs were not good for my disabled husband. This was not Phil's fault. I should have question if there was an elevator. Parking on the street is free over night. The meter is good for 3 hours only. After the 3 hours you need to move to another meter. Best to use the parking garage that is 5 blocks away. 24 hours is pricey. However, the gate is up on the weekends so we did not have to pay when we left. I bought and donated a queen size sheet set as the top sheet on the bed was for a full and only covered one of us and 2 face cloths as the unit had none. Hopefully a new coffee pot was purchased as the one that was there was disgusting. I took with us the one I had to buy along with the sheets and face cloths!

So sorry to hear you didn’t enjoy your stay and only gave a 2. My first ever 2 star rating on any of my properties. Actually never had a 3 either and rarely get a 4. I’m terribly sorry you didn’t realize it was a walk up. I’ll check to see the listing details and make it more clear. Not many small apt buildings with 2-3 Apts have elevators. The sheet comment has baffled the cleaners and myself. We don’t own any full beds in any Apts. So I’m not sure where that came from and also wondering where it went? We would have quickly rectified it had you told us during your stay. Sorry about the coffee machine I did instantly refund your total cleaning charge for having to clean it. The parking garage is literally 4min walk. One block up one and across one. So maybe two if you count like that. We have added “no face cloths” to our bathroom description. We have never had a request or comment for face cloths in 6 properties over 5yrs. Prior to that too many went missing. Lol. Again i apologize for any inconveniences caused due to these issues. Please let me know if we can assist your next stay in one of our other more accessible properties. Thank you again for choosing the crows nest for your visit to NB hope to have you back again to make it a 5star stay
