This condo-like suite at Trollers Lodge has one bedroom with a queen size bed. There is also a queen sleeper sofa in the living room area. The unit has a full kitchen with full size stove and refrigerator where you can prepare homemade meals. There are flat screen TVs with cable in the living and bedroom. Large picture window allows for peeks at the ocean.

This unit can sleep 4. Two in the queen size bedroom and two on the sleeper sofa.

There are several picnic tables and benches throughout the property available for outdoor dining and nice relaxing rest in the cool coastal air!

Our units also have WiFi and Cable television.

We are a pet friendly property in all of our units for an extra fee - those with severe allergies should be aware that we do not have any rooms that are pet free.

Actual furniture, fixtures, colors, and configurations may vary - If you are looking for something particular please ask prior to booking.

It was easy to get into the room, the room was very clean and had all the amenities we needed. We had an infant with us and it was easy to make bottles and fit in a portable crib.

If you don't have dogs you might not enjoy the smell

Unfortunately this property had a strong oder of dog. Great if you are a dog person or need to bring your pets, but if you have allergies or a sensitive nose, you might want to pass.

I booked here a bit last minute, and had a wonderful stay. There was a view of the ocean from our window, and the bed and foldout couch bed were both comfy. The little courtyard area is adorable, too. The kitchen also has everything you would need to make meals for yourself. I especially appreciated the timely and detailed communication from the hosts. We'd definitely stay here again!

Was just a short stay

Easy process for the room. It was just a room though. It looked to be a hotel room with walls put up converting it into a homestyle cabin. Everything was small and cramped, especially the bathroom.

A delight

Went to Depot Bay for an impromptu whale watching trip. Place was nicer inside than the pictures given. Great place for a quick jaunt to town as well. I will be coming back.

Nice spot for quick getaway!

Cute property just a block from Depoe Bay harbor bridge. Watched whales from bridge! We were escaping heat and forest fire smoke. Perfect place for that!

Quaint 1930's Motel With Some Issues

Booking through VRBO and self check-in was easy. Pictures and description of the room we found out were missleading, especially for the bathroom. If you are a small person, it might be ok, but we are tall and above average build. Bed was comfortable with nice linens. Our dog found a used food container behind the couch and when we looked up at the corner light fixture, it had a huge cobweb in it. Carpet also had several stains. Makes one wonder what else was missed. Refrigerator makes noises that sounds like a dog moaning or a cow mooing. Not loud enough to keep you awake, but annoying. Light in the kitchen was very dim. It was nice to have a selection of toiletries available, but there was no dish soap to wash dishes for our 2-day stay. Shower head was full of rust and lime crusts and the h &c handle was hard to adjust as it was loose and even fell off at one point. Other than these issues, it was quiet and dog friendly and close to the harbor and the shops/restaurants.

First off I understand what it takes to management property, I have one on VRBO now. This place I checked in to find mold in the shower, crumbs on the floor this made me suspect cleaning problems. Like any coastal property you sleep with the windows open. The rear windows open to a gravel parking area that is used as smoking and load talking area. I will not be returning again.

When guests have an issue I always encourage that they reach out to us. We live on the property and it is easy for us to correct an issues as they arise. Housekeeping has been informed of these issues... be assured that all rooms are mopped on solid surface and vacuumed on carpeted areas...bathroom surfaces are fully cleaned with disinfecting chemicals including bleach and Virex. The gravel parking area is also now gone. We had this paved shortly after this guest's stay. When we purchased the Lodge in November it had sat virtually empty for two years. We have been slowly bringing her back to life and interior upgrades are happening room by room with a major renovation planned for our unit 7-12 building in the fall, expanding bathrooms and actually eliminating rooms to provide additional space to others. Sorry Peter will not be returning to visit us. We hope to become the hidden GEM on the Oregon Coast that people will regularly return to.

Great for families

Amazing location on the south end of Depoe Bay, the self check in process was flawless. We were surprised to see new or newer appliances, flat screen TVs and extremely comfortable furniture in a rental that allowed pets as well. Perfect sized for our small trio to sleep and relax and even eat in if we wished. Water pressure is a huge thing for me and at the coast it’s usually never great, this was awesome and the shower was great for taller people as well. Well stocked kitchen and full-size fridge to keep things. We truly enjoyed our stay and the staff were awesome.
