Hi Angela We were extremely disappointed to receive your review comments. We work very hard to make our guests' stay as perfect as possible and our reviews testify 9 times out of 10 we achieve this. Specifically, I would like to respond by saying the following:- -heater/air conditioner. I understand this was working when you arrived and a few days later had a problem. We got the repairer in and he found the unit needed to be gassed. There is no mechanism which indicates when this needs to be done, even though we service the units regularly. The repairer fixed it and it was working again - the washer. There are very specific instruction about what setting to use and to be careful not to overload the machine. The building is heritage listed and the pipework old. The washer was chosen to avoid over-using the plumbing system - dishwasher Ruben told me recently there was a problem with this appliance. We got a serviceman in who indicated it needed to be replaced. We are looking at this option. Ruben would normally have informed you and I am sorry you were unaware of this - cleanliness. We have two cleaners who have been with us for a couple of years. They are normally very careful with the cleaning. In an old area like San Telmo it is difficult to control the dust but I will ask them to make an extra clean and make sure things are to standard - towels and sheets. We replace these every year, the last time being December. The majority of our guests stay 3 or so nights ( perhaps a dozen times a year) so I am surprised to hear this. I will ask Ruben to check and discard any stained items -Spare towels These are in the bureau in the hallway. Ruben told you where to find them - Toilet paper. There is always toilet paper on hand.Ruben refilled extra supplies immediately upon your request -Water pressure. As mentioned above, the building is heritage listed and sometimes the water pressure can vary. This is controlled by tanks on the roof and has nothing to do with the apartment. I will ask Ruben to check with the body corporate. We have never experienced problems while we have been staying. I am disappointed that your stay was not as you expected. Ruben and his team worked tirelessly to address your needs and responded immediately to all of your requests. Regards Janet

Thank you Donna for a great review and so pleased you loved the apartment. The stairs are indeed a bit of a challenge but after a few days you don’t really notice. I actually find myself sprinting up by day two !! Unfortunately the stairs/ staircases are a feature of these heritage buildings and it is a lovely old building. Glad all went well with Ruben. He organised the same tango for us and friends who were staying .Think it was the highlight for them too Hope the rest of trip was a success and look forward to seeing you again in BA Best wishes Janet
